We enjoyed an excellent late lunch at Edo Sushibar in San Isidro. The fish was fresh, the combinations on the rolls were inventive, Ivan the head chef spoke English, and the wasabi was very strong -- what more can you ask for?
Seriously, Edo (all locations) has earned a very good reputation among the sushi crowd in Lima. And from my visit, I have to agree with them.
We had close to a dozen different sushis and three or four half-size orders of rolls, and the whole thing only came to 79 Soles (about $25). I tossed a 10 Sol note in the jar for the sushi guys, so the whole thing still came to less than $30 for two people.
I would not hesitate to visit Edo again.
