I decided to check in with the Britanica Bano Sauna at Jr Arica 221 even though another reviewer had called this "low class". Well, I am glad I stopped here. I rang the buzzer and was let in by a hot young chica. As I am trying to find out costs etc. with my less than adequate spanish, she calls out to the back and here comes 4 more chicas from the back. The place itself is definitely lower classs in upkeep etc but the chicas available then resulted in 2 quite hot ones, one hot and kind of nasty looking one and two of no interest. I was given my choice and I chose the original one, Fiorella. You are given a choice of sauna or just massage. I thought that this would be the same as Hotel Andres where you go in the sauna, finish ther and then see the lady. Wrong. I was given a key to a dressing room. went into the room and changed into a towel, came out to go to the sauna. Fiorell was also wereing a towel by the time that I came out and went into the sauna with me. She started up the steam and commensed to giving me quite a good but cursory massage. During the massage she kept the towel (along with panties and bra) on but let my hands roam free. After flipping over the criptic negotiations started and we arrived at either $60 or 180NS for fs. This turned into a great session in the steam with sweat flying everywhere. After I showered and dressed Fiorella was still in a towel wiping down her mascara and fixing herself up. She walked me to the door and gave me a peck on the cheek. Nice place guys - I would not worry about the low class rating - it depends upon the girls. I will definitely repeat.

Banos Turcos Britania - Arica 221, 1.5 blocks from Hotel Bruce: Banos Turcos Britania is located in a small building a short distance from Hotel Bruce. Calle Bolognesi becomes Arica on the other side of Ave. Jose Pardo. I've only been here once. Two decent looking ladies were available at reasonable prices. Other daytime options are recommended.

I was here in September 2005. I actually was en route to Hotel Bruce when I decided to walk a bit farther based on CH maps and look for this place (as I heard it was cheaper). The neighborhood at 2pm seemed safe enough and I rang the bell.

Only three choices were available, but two were acceptable to me. I wanted both but, chose the shorter one... her name was Paola. Claims to be from Iquitos. hHad a small gap between her teeth but was cute otherwise.

Call it inflation, but she got 200 sols from eme. But let me assure you it was the best 200 sols spent the entire trip! No more "Shallow Hal" for this guy! She was cute and the service was the best I had all trip!

Some say low class... but I say intermediate class. And it is a good option for a mid-week afternoon if you are staying in Miraflores. I walked there and even stopped by Santa Isabel market nearby for some groceries afterwards :-).
