Excerpt from 2002/10 Excat - Bare Eyes

SUITES DE BARRANCO on Ave. Paseo de la Republica. Arrived at a driveway sealed with a movable metal gate and in front stood at guard a suited man with a cell telephone. He telephoned and another man inside opened the door within the gate. Below is what I posted under a different handle.

SUITES DE BARRANCO. Two thumbs down. NOT recommended. I visited this combination strip club and cathouse on a Wednesday night about 8:45 pm. I had heard about this place for a decade or more and was curious to see if this expensive place really had the best girls in town.

The doorman explained in Spanish that the minimum was 100 soles, about US $30, which included four beers or two drinks. Optionals included a room at $70 for about an hour and, of course, a price to be paid to the girl, which in Lima nightclubs seemed to start at $100 and go up. I asked if there was a show going on and the doorman said yes.

He walked me inside and proceeded to try to sell me on a US$ 200 annual membership. He explained that benefits included 20 percent off of a bottle purchase such as 600 soles for scotch would cost 450 soles and bringing in three guests at no charge for them. I wondered why such a well-known place was selling memberships?

There were about 25 girls and four customers inside the club. None of the girls approached me or any of the customers. Girls would talk to a customer if he initiated the conversation. After ten minutes, a girl danced one number on the stage.

For the next hour, I sat alone at the bar and stared at the walls, the uninspired mundane decor, and the girls nailed to their chairs. I could not believe that not one girl would come by me sitting at the end of the bar near the entrance. Two girls eventually came to the other two customers at the bar and they simply took what they could get and bought drinks for the girls.

The girls were more interested in talking to each other, sitting around the club than the customers. But, hardly any girl would walk around, much less walk near the bar where myself and two other customers sat. They were on the average more attractive than most elsewhere. However, I did not see any real beauties (yes, a subjective viewpoint) in Suites de Barranco. I thought some girls elsewhere were better than any SDB girl, such as a few in Emmanuelle and Club 69 which charged half the minimum.

Finally, about 10 pm, over an hour later, another girl got up to dance on the stage. She was thin and nearly flat-chested, maybe a rated seven. As she began, I drank up and left. Outside the building but still inside the enclosed compound, all the doormen had disappeared but a middle-aged lady employee ran up to me to give me a free drink coupon for my next visit. I explained that Suites de Barranco was overpriced and boring and gave it back. She did not look surprised or unexpected.

I left the place feeling like I had wasted $30 and my time. I could have bought four beers at the bars, Platters, Two Star, and Peppers, in the district of San Isidro for ten soles each or $12 total, looked at so-so quality girls who charged much less for an encounter, and could have gotten more enthusiasm and personal warmth. Of the ten or more places I visited in Lima last week, Suites de Barranco was the worst experience.

My advice: save your money and go elsewhere. its exclusive reputation of yester-years is not justified today.

Maybe I visited Suites de Barranco too early in the evening. But, I was really pissed that none of the 25 girls made any effort to check out me, the new customer. Over 20 girls without any customer and I sat alone at the end of the bar. As it turned out, this was the only place in Lima that I visited that had unfriendly girls. Of course, the problem could have been me, too ugly or too FOBU.

Suites de Barranco The difference between this place and Las Cascadas is the same as the difference between the Waldorf Astoria and the Holiday Inn. The Holiday Inn does the job but the Waldorf Astoria is an experience. Barranco is a colonial older part of Lima. The buildings and architecture remind me of Puebla in Mexico or Old San Juan in Puerto Rico. On the outside, the Suites doesn’t look like much, but inside there are about 20 – 30 girls all ranging in quality of 6 or 7 and up. With the bias being on the upside. This place has a little strange twist. You rent a room ranging from US$65 to around $100. This is your room for the night. I guess conceivable you could stay here but I think you would go broke on girls. Girls cost $100 for two hours. If you take here near to 4 am, I am told you probably get her for the night. YMMV. The Quality of the service is as near to GFE as it can. The girls are friendly passionate and pretty much anything goes for your two hours. While you are choosing, there is a show, a nice bar, a real relaxing atmosphere. If the cost doesn’t scare you, you need to try it. There is a link on links page for here also.

A friend and I went to this club on the first night that we arrived in Lima. It was recomended by the hotel we were staying in, and it was a great if not expensive recommendation.

The club is completely private and secure, even having to pass a double gate with a holding area before they would let you in.

The cost was 80 sols to get in, around $27, with 2 beers thrown in.
Afterwards, beer was around $7 per bottle.

When I entered the club, the first thing that impressed me was the quality of the club, and the girls. The girls looked like high class models, extremely beautiful, and there were around 25 - 30 girls working, not bad for a Tuesday night, eye candy heaven.

Another nice thing was that the girls, whilst making it extremely clear that the wanted to sit with you, did not approach until they were called over.

We eventually settled with 2 absolute angels (it was difficult to choose just one each), and sat back to watch the shows. The say that there is a show every 15 mins, but it was more like 45 mins. To be honest, the shows were not that spectacular, but the girls we were with made up for that. The had no problem with touching, kissing on the mouth, and their hands were nearly always playing with your dick.
Eventually we decided that we wanted to take them to one of the 'special' rooms.

The club has around 30 special rooms, some with jacuzzis. They charge a minimum of $65 for use of the rooms, so we asked to take them out to the hotel, there is no fee for this, but you have to by the girls 2 drinks each, about $30 total.

The girls wanted $100 for 2 hours in the hotel, but promised it would be good, and the management threw in abottle of bubbly.
Also, just before we left, they gave us free VIP passes for the next time.

Surprise, in 2 hours, I had sex 3 times, and only because I ran out of condoms! The half asian half latina girl I was with was attentive, oral sex was on the menu, but with a condom. After the first time, she just lay in bed with me, and then asked if I wanted to go again, no extra charge. She said that in 2 hours, you can do what you like as many times as you can manage it, not just once. The next day, my friend said it was the same for him.....excellent!!

In short, was an excellent night out if a bit expensive.

Pros. Girls Girls Girls, clean, classy and safe in a safe area, credit cards accepted.
Cons. Expensive for the onsite rooms, and $100 for 2 hours is a bit high.

Every time I go to Lima, this is my first and only stop. I have a blast every time I go there.

One night I was sitting at the bar, and I noticed that some of the girls would go to the bar, and the bartender would give her something in a napkin. I asked him was it was, and he held up from behind the bar, I shit you not, a SALAD BOWL full of cocaine. "Want some?" he said - nah, but how much is it? "Free, here, just take some.." His business model is all screwed up - selling beer and giving away cocaine.

What's good about this is that you can watch to see which girl go and get some - just choose the ones who are not.

I've tried a lot of places in Lima, but not all - this is the one I go to time and time again.

There seems to be a lot of debate on the value of Suites de Barranco. The majority concensus appears to be that it's overpriced for what they offer.

In general, I agree. Many of the nightclubs already charge a pricy amount for entrance and exit fees (when taking a lady). Suites compounds this by pushing overpriced onsite rooms. You can takeout, but it seemed to me the ladies much preferred to stay onsite. Also, price negotiation may be a little more challenging here as the ladies regard themselves and the establishment as higher class.

For the cost difference, I would not say Suites offers a much better lineup of ladies.

The ladies did seem to dress better to keep in line with the ambiance of the club. Those that prefer 18/19yo perky ladies would be better off elsewhere, but those that like their ladies sultry and sophisticated will find Suites to their liking.

Suites de Barranco - Ave. Paseo de la Republica 250, two blocks north of Ovalo Balta: Suites de Barranco is one of the best known P4P nightclubs in Lima, Peru with a long history. Unfortunately today it is past it's prime and better known as overpriced with a talent level that does not correspond accordingly. Cover charge is the usual 80 soles ($25 USD), but drinks for ladies and exit fees are higher, as well as the quotes by the ladies themselves. More emphasis is placed on the short-time options here, as they maintain a number of rooms with the least expensive one starting around 225 soles or $70 USD. Some of the ladies here were very attractive, but tended to be of the sophisticated and sultry variety. Expect a total bill of at least $200 USD after all is done, some will put the estimate closer to $300 USD. The building is very discreet, with little more than a garage door visible from the street.

This place i think has seen better days. i would say is rather expensive for this town. i wasn't overly impressed with it. some girls are good loking and they might be fun to be with, but, the cost doesn't add up to the fun i was looking for. they have suites for st but don't think you could take the girls out. guess if you want to indulge yourself once in a while, is fine; easy you could spend about $200-250 in a visit (entrance fee/st/drinks,...). you could try other places in town and have more fun.///
