Just a wanted to inform anyone going to Truhillo or Huanchaco about a couple of places worth checking out. The two cities border each other snd between them are three p4p locations (besides the various local clubs) Prices for the girls at Casa Roas is 20soles ($7USD) this is the smallest of the three housing about 25 girls. The second and thirdplaces are 5 min down the road and next door to one another. The next largest is the Patio, housing about 50 girls and charging 10soles, that would be $3.25 USD....unbelievable.(I did a cute 18 y/o and she was an 8 face/ 9 body and good) Next door is the largest, The Colonial housing 65rooms and girls. The rooms at the last two locatoins were large and very nice. The cost at The Colonial is 15soles ($5USD). These prices certainly shed a new perspective on some of the prices elsewhere (Lima $40-100 for toda noche) Your actually suppose to get 20 min for these prices, however none of the girls seem to concerned when it is afternoon or slow. With four days in Huanchaco before going back down to Lima for another week I intend to get my moneys worth. Cost averaging never looked better. Sure, theres some I wouldn't touch, but always a few jems and many 8-9's. Expect to pay about 30soles for a taxi to take you there , wait , and then return you to either Truhillo or Huanchaco, my recommendation. In addition, Viagra and it's generic equalivant can be purchased very cheap in Huancho. (5 soles for 100mg. thats about .90 per50mg) With cheap viagra and the prices mentioned I am asking myself why I am still on the computer, Hasta luego Amigos!

LA GUY/blissman; just finished a few hrs of research at the Colonial and the Patio. Remember the exc rate 3:15/1 Did 3 @ 10soles ea (basically 3.25 eh) and one at Colonial for 15soles ($5)FOUR for less tham $20 LET ME MENTION A 2SOLE ENTRANCE FEE (.75)

The Huanchaco area is on the coast, nice beach and excellent surfing. In fact the surf championship are held here to qualify for the world championships.

There are also sites with some of the oldest ruins around the areas. ONCE YOU GET OUT PF lIMA, THE CHEAP GETS CHEAPER!

For great food, surfing, and cheap p4p this is the place. Two airlines , Lan and Aero Peru fly here. HOTELS $8-20usd/NIGHT

Good report. Was thinking lima early next year with a side trip to Iquitos. You got me think of going to Huanchaco now.

Dallas, I went to Iquitos last November and really enjoyed the place. All the street action is around the ¨Plaza de Armis¨. There are several clubs there, I don¨t remember their names, just ask any of the motortaxis tho. Just hang out at either of the cafes on the plaza and the street girls will eventually show up. Again, there are a cpl clubs with working girls also. Be prepared for hot temps and lots of humidy, light clothing definitly recommended. Try thr aligator, it is excellent, even better than some of the finest resturants I have eaten it in...

Dalla, just finished a cpl beers with a buddy here in Lima that spends lots of time in Iquitos. For anyone going there an excellent club is nao-nao, near the Plaza de Armis in town. According to him there is upwards of 6-7 HUNDRED (yes, hundreds) of girls at this place on Friday and Saturday nights. They come in from neighboring towns and villages. Remember the ratio overall in Peru of women to men is 8-1

I always like to get out of the main tourist areas. In Brazil I prefer the smaller cities in the northeast, Recife, Natal, fortaleza.
What city do you like better for P4P action Iquitos or Huanchaco?

Could you recommend a decent hotel in Huanchacho or Trujillo? I looked on the internet but it seemed all that was available were hostel-type places w/ no AC.

Also, do you know if there's decent scuba diving in the area?

Elgrancombo, indeed most of the smaller towns only have hostals. The only hotel I thought was nice, and all the nightlife was actuallly there, is Los Esteros, located on the main road in town,Av Larco 616.

Excellent surfing, did not see any diving at all, so doubt it.......plenty of muff diving available.

EL...it doesn't have aircond, but you are right accross the street from the ocean, an open window will work fine.
