It seems most info here is pretty old and I would really like to talk to someone about the scene in Lima,Cusco,and Puno...
There is 11 of us going to peru the 4th of October. We are all interested in a strip club or two and a bit of fun. But 2 of the group wouldnt mind a little more.Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Also wanted to know the best place in Lima for a good massage with more if possible,Im leaning towards the Bruce Hotel and spa,but if there is anywhere else Im open to suggestions.We are staying at the Boulevard and want some place close by

There is still a good number of beautiful chicas at the high end clubs in the trip reports and discussion section. Late in the week is the best time to go (Thurs. - Sat.). I canīt comment on the massage places.
Half the rooms at the Boulevard Hotel are not good for most mongers. The front of the hotel faces Ave. Jose Pardo which is a very busy street. The noise level is very high in those rooms starting around 7 AM and continues all day and into the night making it difficult to sleep if you have been out late at night. Try to get a room in the back where it is very quiet.

I just finished 3 weeks there before returing home and just finished a 10 day trip to Rio.

If you want VERY factual and most informative info on Peru, go to the Peru section and there are many excellent reports; RTGooches for one.

, although RT"s are somewhat current. The locations, recommendation, even most prices are still the same. The only thing which seems to vary are the hotel rates, and this is widly due to two things; booking online and time of the year. IE, one member here just booked a hotel I recommended fo $44USD/nite, yet when I was there 5 wks ago I could only get a rate of $65.

My point is simply that there is excellent info and lots of it that is factual and relevent.(forget the dates)

Hotel Bruce is ok, went there last month, only about 6 girls to choose from, but a couple of good ones, I recommend Banos and Turks, nicer facilities, more girls, all services available.

Lots of agencies for "take out", Pizza alley for street girls from 7pm and later, and of course Tequila Rock, nightclub in Miraflores.(If you had more time I would tell you about regular clubs as the non-pro scene is excellent in Lima) TR, anywhere from $40 - $80 for alll night, but you MUST negotiate. (Everyone of them will say $100USD, and if you just stare for 25seconds the price will drop to 80!-lol) Negotiating skills will work....have a great trip
Warning: most of the thefts/problems have been a result of taxi cabs incidents, use a cab already coming down the street or a reputable one from the airport! I personally know of 5 guys robbed due to taxis, for the most part tho criome in Lima is minimal. Also, the money exchange at the airport is not bad, recommend you get a $100 changed for starters, cab toi Miraflores SHOULD be 35-50 Soles (3:15 to 1) about $17USD
