Macae is a small town about 2 and 1/2 hours north of Rio de Janeiro on the coast that is developing because of recent offshore oil fields. Lots of women have come to Macae from other parts of Brazil because the influx of expats has been good for business.

While there are women everywhere, there are three places to pick up women of note: Willi's Bar down at the beach is a small bar that is the congregating place for most of the working girls before about 11:00 pm. A friendly place where you can get a beer cheap and talk to the ladies. It gets started around 8:00 and is full at 9:00.

Barbie Show -- A strip joint full of regular girls that will cost you ten Reals for a totally nude dance with touching allowed. This place opens at 11:00 pm but gets started really around 11:30 or so. Girls will leave with you and you can either go next door to a cheap hotel or back to your hotel room. The bar exit fee is 10 Reals and she will charge at least 50 Reals for short time or 100 Reals for all night. A spectacular girl can get 70 or 80 Reals for an hour or two. They will ask for more, but this is the going rate, which is about half what you would expect to pay in Rio de Janeiro.

Beaches are really nice in this place. I was there last week. Even feels safe to walk around this place at night. Did not look for women there, bu this place a really laid back compared to Rio. Lot os pretty ladies walking around also.
