Salvador has a lot of places ( Bar, Restaurants, Disco, Night clubs ) for enjoy the night and doing a lot of differents things. The problem is where go and when, because in Salvador every night of the week has one specifc party for to go, and the best people from Salvador are there. So we decided to do a program with the right parties and the right places where the people can go during the week:

About 20:00 we advise for an Happy Hour at Bar PIMENTINHA. The Pimentinha is situate in the district Boca do Rio (only 5 km. from Vila Samba and Vila Lula). It’s a very curious bar because its architecture and forniture are made with recicle material, and the owner of the bar, which is a very strange person, an bless you when you entar. In fact, if you want, he can throw same pop-corn on your head for chase away the bad spirits. Sometimes you can find famous artists who came to have a drink and enjoy the night.
About 23:00 is the time to go to CASQUINHA DE SIRI for dance the Pagode ( a tipical samba of Bahia ). There you can meet a lot of Piriguete (easy girls). It is a bar/restaurant with live music, that present famous band from Salvador and it’s a very good place for dance with because it’s very easy to find same girs who will be veru happy to teach you the samba pagode. Casquinha has a very beautiful architecture with a lot of tropical plants an is situated on Piata Beach ( where is situate Vila Samba).
About 3:00A.M, after you have danced the Pagode all night, if you are hungry, you can go to MERCADO DO PEIXE( fish market) at RIO VERMELHO (the district of Jorge Amado). There you can eat Salvador food in a little bar in front of the beach and maybe you can see a fisherman that is coming back from the night fishing and is possibile to buy fresh fish.


On Thursday the night is at PELOURINHO. Pelourinho is the Old City, the old heart of Salvador, with colonial-era buildings and winding cobblestone streets. Lots of good stuff -- music and capoeira -- is there. The place is full of bars and restaurants and small shops. Salvador was the first capital of Brazil. The Pelourinho is insert in UNESCO (community heritage). On Thursday is the most famous night at the Pelourinho, the name of this night is Dia da Bençao, in english is Blessing.
On Thursday in the Pelourinho there is the concert of OLODUM (one of the most famous percussion band of Brasil, that made a Video clip with Michael Jackson). When you arrive in the Pelourinho you can drink something at CANTINA DA LUA, it’s a tipical bar of the Pelourinho that first was a place where the turist could met the prostitutes. Today it is not only this, and everybody can go there for have a drink or eat the famous Comida Kilo (Kilo Fook - you can do your dish by yourself and pay based on the weight)
About 22:00 in front of the Cantina da Lua will star one concert. Or if you prefer you can pay and enter in the square where there is the show of OLODUM.
Returning from Pelourinho, in the middle of the night, you can stop on the promenade of Barra district, where you can have the last drink of the night sit down outside one of the nice bar and in front of one of the most beautiful beach of salvador that is lighted like a stadium and in fact , normaly, there is a lot of people playing football during all the night.


About 18:00, you can go to AEROCLUB( 5km from Vila Lula or Vila Samba) that is situate on Boca do Rio beach. It’s a new meeting Center that has dicoteches, Pubs, Cinema, Restaurants, Fast food and shops.
After dinner you can go to BECO DE GAL, a little place that during the day is a car workshop and every Wednesday night it became a little dancing with live music, so you can dance and listen good music like “samba fundo de quintal”. It’s a simple place that have people from the lower classes from Bahia.
After BECO DE GAL you can go to CASQUINHA DE SIRI WHERE there is bands and live music every nights or you can return to Aeroclube and go to Rock in Rio discotheque where you can dance forro, axe, pagode, lambada and every dance from Bahia. There you can meet and see a lot of beautiful people.


On Thursday start the week-end for the Bahianos.
Who likes a sophisticated place, with beautiful people of the hight society of Salvador, can go to CAFE’ CANCUN. In this discotheque there are the most beautiful girls from Bahia. It’s better to arrive early about 23 because if you arrive after, may be that you can not enter or you will take a long file. It’s compulsory to dress well with long paints and shoes.
Who don’t like snob place and prefer crowded place with joung people and where everybody dance pagode, can go to BARACAO BEACH on PITUACU BEACH very near from Vila Lula and Vila Samba.
After to dance, to kiss, to sing…. if you are hungry you can go to Doctor Burgher where you can eat sandwiches, hamburgers, hot-dog etc. It’s 50 mt. from the Baracao Beach and it is open 24 hours a day.



On Friday and Sasturday everything is open, and there are parties in every place in Salvador. So you can start going to LAGOA DO ABAETE “Abaete Lagoon” (Itapua), one of the tourist point of Salvador. The lagoon have blu water with the white sand around it. A beautiful place for meeting. There you can have a drink and eat something of tipical , joint with the people of the lower class of salvador. You can also hear the music of one of the numerous band who play the traditional music of Brasil.
After dinner you can go to Rock in Rio (Aeroclub), Pelourinho, Fashion Club (Pituba), Satelite Discoteque (Patamares Beach), Albatroz Discoteque (near the airport), Casquinha de Siri, Viola Vadia (Boca do Rio- samba fundo de quintal), Barracao Beach,….......depending what you are looking for or where you just have a funny time during the prevoious night.


May be a good choise to go to BAR DA PONTA ( Commercio district near the old port) for have a good happy hour in a a luxury BAR where you can see one of the most beuatiful sunset of Salvador. It’s the bar of the best restaurant of Salvador, named TRAPICHE DE ADELAIDE. It’s realy a splendid and astonishing place with an excellet and fashion forniture and a wonderfull sea view.
After everybody goes to Rock in Rio (Aeroclub), for the The Piriguete’Night, where you can see the Piriguete ( funny and easy girls) dancing all the night in very exciting and vorticous dance that will make you crazy.
After there, people who has again energie, can go to the FREE NIGHT ( Pituba district) where you can see various streep tease and you can order a personalized step tease to one of the many beautiful girs who crowded the place.
