Hotel is well located. Diamond Shopping is next to Hotel, Movie Theater ECT…. Great Italian Restaurant next door and Chinese Restaurant across the street
I paid 200 Reals a night, really did not try to get a cheaper rate. If you have stayed at the Princess Copacabana, you will find it very similar. Very clean, comfortable beds. Internet and additional 19R for 24 hours, bring your cable.

Yes, all of the Promenade properties are pretty decent. I normally stay at the Visconti Promenade while in Rio. Great location and graota friendly. I looked at the Platinum for my trip to BH the other day but decided to stay at the Best Western Sol because it was within walking distance of Rua Guaicurus!!!!!
There is something perversely satisfying to waking up, having breakfast and taking a stroll down to Rua G for an hour of "exercise" before your first morning meeting.
