Gents,
I am in the airport headed to Sao Paulo now. They are starting to board and I am typing as fast as I can. While I have been to the SP airport about 1,000 times I have never left. always just passing thru. This time I actually have meetings in SP and will be there one and possibly two nights. Obviously I want to make them count! While I'm always budget conscious, I want to make sure this brief visit is memorable so if any of you good sports have suggestions as to where (and with whom) I can maximize my mongering time-budget I would be most grateful. I am staying at the Caesar Business on Avenida Paulista (wherever that is). This trip was literally decided upon at 11:00 AM EST and I am in the airport now! Talk about your hurry up offense.

So how about it my mongering brothers? Come to my aid and give me a "to-do" list for my Paulista Mongering Pleasure.

Jake, should you decide to go over budget? The hottest looking garotas are found at Cafe Photo. But, that could also translate into your typical trophy poke:-)

I haven't been there in a long while, but I believe it costs 200R to get in now, and you get six drink chits. For quality stuff like Red Bulls, imported liquor, and mini champagnes.

YMMV, but the minimum you might be able to P4P would be 500R take-out? So with our sorry ass dollar FOREX, it ain't cheap! But, you should at least try it once?

I live in Rio, but I actually believe that Sao Paulo is a better mongering destination if you are strictly looking for quality. It does have its price however.

My two favorite places are Bomboa (capote valete_ and Connection (eduardo catching).

Just arrived at the hotel. No telling when I will be back so I may take the expensive route to CF or Bomboa. Heading off to a business meeting now. Maybe one of these guys is a "player" and will show me around.

You better check that Bomboa and/or Connection is still open before heading out. I am not sure, but believe Connection may have closed, and Bomboa has been on and off (meaning open, then closed, then open, etc.) for the last year or so.

I haven't heard anything to suggest Cafe Photo is closed, although I have heard some things that suggest its days, at least at its present location, may be numbered.

I suggest you get a copy of the throwaway tourist magazine called "Magazine," which most hotels have copies of. The last fifteen or twenty pages are adult ads. If Connection or Bomboa have an ad, call their number to confirm they are still open. If they don't have an ad there, it is fairly likely they are closed as they always have run advertisements in that magazine.

I was in Sampa earlier this week and Bomboa was open, so go without fear (except for your wallet).

Bomboa and Connection are both open. Millenium has been closed since last September. Some talk of it opening again in six months.
