I recently visited a couple of these places as well. Senhor dos Passos, 87, which is one street over from Dr. Flores, has the usual mix of uglies with a few acceptable garotas. The sheer number of bars, 4 per floor except the 5th floor, and girls, makes the place worth a visit for any quasi bottom feeder, or a real one for that matter. In addition to the 1 real per minute charge, I found that many of the garotas will do anal with no extra fee so long as you buy a session of at least a certain length, which from my small sample ranged from 30 to 40 minutes. However, because I didn't speak to that many garotas about this, I suspect some might do it with a 20 minute program, and others won't at all.

I also explored Praca Rui Barbosa 149, which had far fewer garotas, probably distributed among three or four bars. I commented to another board member that although I didn't speak to any of the garotas there, it couldn't cost more than Senhor dos Passos, which Zoner confirms is the case (it costs less). Praca Rui Barbosa 149 is about two blocks from Senhor dos Passos, 87, off of a square that has some sort of major construction ongoing. As you are leaving Senhor dos Passos, it is on the street that is to the left of the square. The odds of finding something you like are better at Senhor dos Passos, 87.

Overall, I found Porto Allegre to have a good combination of low end places and higher end places. As to the higher end places though, one aspect I did not particularly like is unlike a Rio terma you have to negotiate price with the girls, many of whom will start with absurd prices (probably gringo inflated). Although I don't mind negotiating for types of services, I don't care for negotiating price. But other than that, the scene appears to be a fine one (I also had a good escort experience there once, although don't recall which service I used).

LAGUY, I believe you sessioned at Sauna Guaiba and had a wonderful time. However, you weren't sure after inspecting the pictures the next day and noticed that your spinner had a C-scar.

Zoner, thanks for the info. As LAGUY mentioned, the 4 floors of whores were very interesting. I would rate that place a little above Terma 85 in Rio.

Hmmmmm. I wonder who this Howard69stern guy is. Not even a private pad to consult with for clues. Must be some anonymous hombre following me around or something.

And yeah, the lighting was rather low in the room at Sauna Guaiba, and I probably would have been better off without the flash camera (which revealed all, most particularly a really bad C-scar). I hear the suites have better lighting. But I suppose it was good I was in the regular room since I could at least pretend I was having fun until the next day when I saw the photos and had to re-evaluate the whole experience.

As one of the first patrons on this board of Terma 85, a fact I am both proud of and perhaps a little embarrassed by (assuming we are talking about the place on Buenos Aires 85), I would have to agree with Howard69stern's assessment. One thing that puts 4 floors of whores above Terma 85 is the sheer number of girls and bars. The other thing is should there be a fire at the place, you have at least some chance of getting out alive.

The street girls are definitely worth avoiding in POA. All have pimps, and virtually all are pretty heavy drug users. Lots of muggings occur on the side streets just off Av. Farrapos.

When I visited Angela's they had exactly three girls on site. None were worth doing. BTW, all the girls are listed as "liberal" on the site, which is generally used as code in POA for "does anal." I doubt if they all really do, so I'm really skeptical about this place.
