First trip to BsAs - Have any of you ever stayed at Gran Hotel Hispano? www.hhispano.com.ar/
I booked it for May 1-8 because the price looked good ($50/night - 10% discount for cash) and the location looked good (Av. de Mayo 861), but I have no idea if it's chica friendly (and is that something I could even ask them?). I booked it as a single- should I tell them I may be having 'guests' and pay for a double to avoid a possible hassle?

Tourist-wise, the hotel is in a great spot. I'm not sure mongering-wise if it is. It seems close to the cafes, but the whole area can get pretty jammed up. I don't see why it shouldn't be guest friendly though, didn't have a problem at all the couple of times i've been to BA. Don't know what your plans are, but can't say enough about the Hoteles(casas). Lots of them all over the place. Still dreaming about 1072 Larrea...
