Starting in July until September, Delta Airlines will have an additional flight from Atlanta to Lima. This flight will be a redeye, leaving Atlanta around 11pm or so and arriving in Lima about 5:30am.

I originally asked them to add the flight for one week only during my birthday week so everyone could conveniently fly in for my birthday celebration. But Delta took it a step further and the new flights will begin the second week in July and extend to the first few days of September. What the hell, if RT Gooch can arrange to get Tequila Rock reopened I figured I could at least get a new flight established.

The new flight will be a 757 to complement the stretch 767 400 that they fly on the existing flights. It will put new seats to plop fannies into and should improve seat availability even on some of the other airlines. It should also lessen the no-shows at the very nice birthday party that you guys are throwing for me.

I will see about getting this 2nd flight made permanent before I request a third flight.
