BGA aka La Ciudad Bonita. Weather more pleasant than Medellin. Found several casas & bars in the yellow pgs. Also Vanguardia Liberal paper 'solo adultos' ads listed services for 12-20k.
C33 K31 is ground zero in zona rosa. Discos, salsatecas, video bars, karaoke bars, some chica bars. Went to:
L'Champagne Club. C33 32-82, next to Charlie Chaplin billards.
Stop Show Bar C33 31-101.
Few sgs around 11pm on corner of C34 & K31, near Noksos taberna disco. Quoted 40k tln.
Sightseeing in nearby Giron but not much to see. Several low-end bars...

Just recently visited Bucamaranga. Had a friend that was going to move there. It definitely is an option to live as compared to Medellin. A little warmer, a little cleaner. Less people. Girls beautiful. We happened to visit a mall near a university and wow.
They have a place called Roxy in the Zona. the girls just hang out in a circular area in front of you. Bring you drinks and you can get a private strip show. What is great is that it is well lit and you can really see the girls. They seem to always rotate in new ones and do not seem hardcore yet, like just starting out. So you could get a show from them and then get their number if they like you and go from their. Their are other conventional strip parlors nearby but this place stood out in my mind for quality. Airport is much closer to town then Medellin about 20 minutes you can see the city from the airport which overlooks it from the top of a mountain. Lots of parks. Seems safer the Medellin also. So my rating is for mongers Medellin is better. For someone looking for a girlfriend I think Buca better because they do not see gringos much there, gringo rep is pretty bad in medellin because you have tons of old dudes parading obvious hookers in front of everyone in popular parts of town. Gringos are pretty obvious in medellin at least the tourist areas but only saw one other gringo in Buca whole trip...
Prices a little cheaper in buca seems like for rent, taxis, and food however probably more expensive for girls since their is more employment there and the pro scene is not as heavy as in Medellin.
