A little north of Piura on the Panamericana spotted those familiar red lights from a chongo off the road. When arrived in Piura i asked around, moto taxista confirmed those were chongos. Drove me back north on the Panamericana in the direction of Sullana.

The 2 chongos located just north of an overpass bridge, on a dirt lot next to each other. Taxista said the name of one chongo was Siete y Medio. Chongo w/ red lights had 40 fuck rms. Chongo w/ orange lights 25 rms. Same prices at both chongos, s/15 20min. Taxista said open til midnite. RT moto taxi fare s/18 including 30min wait time.

The 2 above chongos have no cover.

What is the layout of these chongos? Is it a bar with the chicas hanging out, do they bring them out for you in a lineup or one at a time, is there a mamasan (whatever the SA word for that is), etc?

Hunterman, they´re like Lima´s Las Cucurdas & Trocadero except no admission fee & the commons area is outside (kinda like a motel layout). Nearly naked chicas stand in the doorways to their room or provocatively pose in their bed to entice customers. No formal lineup, presentation, or mamasan. Customers walk around door to door, checking out the goods. Don´t recall seeing a bar, but some chongos (eg Las Cucardas) have a bar, strip show...

fr centro yellow taxis quote s/8-10 to chongos. being more adventurous was curious to learn if colectivos were available. after asking taxistas i located parada de colectivo on tiny access rd between Sanchez Cerro & Av. Sullana, just east of Primax gas stn. pasaje s/3.5 10-15min drive NW to chongos, 200m N of short orange-painted steel bridge, puente las monjas.

also observed a piurano hop on sullana-bound chicken bus fr centro & hop off in front of chongos to save s/.5 on pasaje vs colectivo. however when he alighted everyone on the packed bus probably realized where he´s going as there´s nothing else out there .

chongos´ color of exterior fluorescent tube lights has changed. now they´re red, white, blue, yellow, green. as u approach the chongos fr the rd, the left (north) chongo is a pink bldg w/ 25 rms; right (south) chongo is a red bldg w/ blue vertical trim & has 35 rms, parking area inside in the ctr. both chongos have courtyard layout.

at both chongos it´s still free adm & session price has increased to s/20. open 4p daily. one favorita bonita said chicas pay s/45 per day for rent & she does 25-30 customers/day.

at this unstoried spot in the middle of the dusty sechura desert surprised to find several doable chicas, some of them model-material spinners, more than what i´d found in mde during my 2 months in colombia & at a fraction of paisa prices. so i stayed in piura extra days

Taxi guy wanted S./20 ($8), settled for S./15. There were about 100 little brown guys and 1 big gringo walking around waiting for a door to open, then the oogle factor started.Probably about 20 available women. I listened to a couple of the local guys trying to haggle down the price (from S/.20 to S./15 ($8 to $6) by claiming to have a big dick. Decided this was not a good time for a lecture on basic economics, supply and demand. Average turn around time was about 12 minutes.

There were no major lovelies there, so I decided to pass. However, it would have been the first time that the taxi was more expensive than the lady.
