It actually is located in the heart of the Pepe beach.

As I'm walking along & I see the Papillion so I decide I guess that it is escort agency time. I check into the motel and I just get a "simple" room for 39 reais for 6 hours; I was really impressed with the place - it had a garage, mini-bar, big bathroom with marble floors, cable TV, AC, phone, stero system . It is alot nicer than any of the rooms that I've stayed at in the Debret, Rio Roiss or Savoy Othon. And simples are the low end rooms at the motel; they also had dulpas and suites that were pricier and nicer. I'm going to have to check one of these out next time. I call the agency Barravips.net and tell them that I want 2 girls and they tell me that only Mellisa and one other girl are available. About 20 minutes later a cab pulls up and the 2 girls jump out. Like most web escorts they don't look as good as their photos on the web but they were a lot of fun.

Love motels in Rio are not sleazy places ; they tend to really nice places that one can have alot of fun at.

There is a love motel right around the corner from Help; I might just stay there on my next trip.

Another great love motel story that I never really heard was that Don had some sort of big bash at vips on the 4th.

Friends of mine and I were going to throw a big party at VIP. Thinking about purchasing 4 or 5 entertainers and just have a party for several hours.

Where would be the best place to get the entertainment? Help might be too expensive. What is everyone's opinion?

Are you asking about finding 4 or 5 garotas for a festa? I would head to Monte Carlo and hire the best looking ones. MC closes at 02:00 during the week but garotas are free to leave at 01:00. Sat they close at midnight and sun it is closed.
You can also ask every garota at every terma you bone, they should all be interested in extra cash.
Or find a girl at the beach early in the afternoon and tell her you need 4 or 5 pretty garotas and you're ready to interview them at 15:00 at Meia.
Or do your interview at the terrace at 22:00 during dinner.
Where to have sex, definitely at a love motel.
Just know you need to bring plenty of condoms as garotas require different condom for each new partner but love motels provide some.

You learn something new every day. At least on the Internet. I've been using Yahoo Brazil sometimes to try and learn a bit of Portuguese. This evening I happened to check out their section called "Diversão RJ" which is near the bottom of the page on the far right. It is a list of things to do in Rio, or several other major cities, including user submitted reviews of restaurants, bars, movies, etc. They have a section called "Moteis" where they list a HUGE number of love motels. Imagine something like that in this country. You can search by name or by area. Addresses, phone numbers, maps, and reviews are available. Here is an example of a review of one place, Skorpios, which is in Barra da Tijuca. It was written by 39 y/o librarian from Rio.

Bambina is consistently voted the best in Rio, quite pricy but absolutely first class.

Bambina is in Botofogo behind Botofogo Praia shopping. Just as nicer in my opinion are Lovetime (Rua Catete) and Diamond (Rua Gloria), both in Gloria. An apartment nice than the apartments at Vips (or any motel room in Copa) runs about R$40 for 6 - 8 hours. Rates vary, and they often run promotional prices for 3 hours R$35.99. BTW--Gloria from Copa will usually be about 10 to 15 minutes closer than VIPs since traffic to Leblon is bad. Also, for comparison purposes, the nicest suite at Diamond costs R$150 for 6 hours. It compares to some of the nicer suites at Vips (but not the nicest). It has a dance floor, outdoor Swimming pool, Dry sauna, wet sauna, whirlpool tub, dining room and views of sugar loaf and botofogo beach.

Bambina is a very nice option:

I've used it about 6-8 times and never had a bad experience. I tend to use Bambina when I'm taking one garota and VIPS when it's a small or large festa.

Anybody ever been to the Vanity on NS Copacabana right near Help? How are the rooms, suites? Costs...? I'm surprised there isn't anything about it with it being so close to beach, meia pataca and help.

I believe this is the place I was taken to one night when I did a dupla and my hotel refused to allow me to bring 2 girls upstairs. It's a couple of blocks behind Help. I was not impressed with the place, and it was fairly expensive. Nothing like a higher end place at all.

Could someone translate this for me?
