The VIP establishment is really ideal if you want to relax in top surroundings. The place offers many different suites on a short term basis. This is a waterview fantasy kinda place...food service is also available. My enjoyment came from meeting a loverly gal a the Terma Monte Carlo and then setting a date. We met at a cafe one morning near the beach and then got a cab to VIP's its just past Ipanema on the coast road. I rented a president suite (there are many choices) and we spent the whole day naked and loving under the sun and in our private pool....I stopped at a market on the way out there and got beer and wine. We ordered some great food. It was a wonderful un hurried day for me. Especially with this super fine tall fair skinned 22 yo gal..who loved it all and smiled about it all...snoozed off to a beaut back rub. Rent was about $40 and the gal I gave $100...best money I've spent

Do you know if VIP charges for extra people or can you have as many people in a room as you want? Some of the suites look huge and a few have 2 beds, I was thinking of getting a couple of my buddies, grabbing about 6 girls and making a day of it.

Vips does charge extra for additional people. Four of us went up and took a larger room. Had to pay R61 additional for the extra couple. (R61 is their cheapest room rate). Do not know what happens when the numbers go up, probably the same formula....

Many times. With the right garota(s), it is a blast. My two favorites are VIPS and Bambina (in Botofogo), but VIPS wins because of the beautiful views. The girls absolutely love it.

Allright, I went to VIP's hotel but due to my encounter on my way to the hotel it wasn't to great.

What happen was as two chicas an I are going up to the hotel and I'm already thinking of who gets what position, one minute away there is a road block, I said too myself all there going to do is look and let us go. Boy I was wrong, he told the cab driver to pull over, everyone out the car, there are about 6-7 policemen's with semi and there going through my pockets pulled out about $R950 and my AMEX card and there going through all the girls purses. I'm saying to myself if these girls do cocaine I am fucked.
So they let us go and I only had an OK session with two girls due to the stress.

Had same thing happen to me about 1 year ago. I was coming back from a samba school party at around 3:30Am with my buddy and 2 girls, when we were pulled over at a road block. We were in one of the garota's car (stupid girl didn't have her license on her) so we had to give the machinegun toting police officers 200R not to cart her off to jail and make us walk back to Copa.

Then to add salt to the fucking wound, when we got to that long tunnel near Rio Sul, we got pulled over a second time!!! This time by a mini van full of police officers ( I think the first corrupt motherfuckers radioed ahead to these motherfuckers) They put the lights on and pulled us over ( at least they didn't have machine guns) This time it cost us 100R for them to let us go.

GodFather and I spent a day there (in separate rooms) with our garotas and had a blast. Great place. Later in the week, UW, Drew, Seaman, KickStand and I rented the Millenium suite as party ground zero plus 5 other VIP's suites. We had 2 rounds of 5 girls arrive from the escort agencies throughout the day.

I submitted a report to Hombre last night and included about 20 shots of the Millenium suite. Great place to party. Also, about 40 shots of the girls naked and topless in the pool on the roof.
Seaman demonstrated the proper way on how to take your salt and lime with tequila. (wait till you see)

We negotiated with the management not to charge us for extra people since we were renting so many places and they even threw in some appetizers.

Hope you guys enjoy the report when it gets posted. I do highly recommend VIPs.

I hope you took advantage of the girls and did not just f*ck one girl from each group? For festinhas it is standard practice that you can share the girls with your friends, at no extra cost, as long as all girls are from the same agency (but best confirm this beforehand)

Does the millennium suite allow only one couple? or it allows several couples at no extra charge? ONe big turnoff at VIP is that they charge for extra people. Some day I will call a dozen motels to see what their policy is on that. I am sure that some of them do not charge.

They ALL charge extra for extra people. Why do you think they make you pop the trunk on your car when you drive in? I've hid extra girls in the trunk myself...

Ok-specialist-we didn't pass the girls around except for in the pool. (wait till you see the pics)A lot of tit and grab- assing. Each group was only there for a couple of hours so there wasn't time. Our deal was 5 guys sharing Millenium plus we had our own (5)splooge pads. There was no extra charge for more people as pre-negotiated.

Badseed--Pop the trunk??? Memories of trunking it in to the drive-in, in high school. Went there twice in a week and they never made us "pop the trunk" UW and Drew didn't mention anything about it either in their foray. You must have one of those guilty faces we all hear about...LOL

Oh yeah...prices. We paid $420R for the Millenium and $170R for the standard VIPs suites plus extra for beer, sodas, water, food.

Each suite gets 2 items off the menu at no extra charge.

They made up our suites between groups at no extra charge.

Between the girls, food, suites, bikins and taxis I guess it cost $500R per guy for 10 hours of party (or about $140.00US). Even if it was $100 more, it was worth the experience. "Wait till you see the photos"

I was in Rio for the first time in January and took about 20 taxi rides mostly to the termas. I never got pulled over. A question about being shaken down by the cops?
Are these searches random? Do they look for more than one person in a car (more people more bribe money)? Do they tell you the reason why they pull you over? Can they even speak english. When they do pull you over how do they offer the bribe and can you negotiate? Suppose you didn't do anything wrong can you ignore them?

I think so. If you've got a special gal, go with one of the big suites. They are certainly well equipped.

If your time is short, you may be better off just doing a terma run.

Cat's right. Vips runs R$80 for the basic room (8 hours), more for rooms with whirpool/hydromassage tubs, pools, etc. Plus cab fare, it's out of the way. Yes, Karla delivers, but they may not be on time, and you don't always get exactly what you thought you were getting.

You can probably find a termas near wherever you are, there are lots of garotas to choose from, you can interview them, get a feel for them (literally as well as figuratively), see how they kiss. Cost would be on the order of R$250-R$300 or more for one garota, R$400-R$600 or more for two or a dupla, depending on which termas, whether you do one hour or 40 min., choice of rooms where available, drinks, etc.

Yes, it's more expensive, but it's a sure thing, especially if you're not familiar with Rio and don't speak Portuguese.

That being said, vips is awesome. I don't go there much anymore because now I have nicer apartments, but for a long time I was there almost every night I was in rio. If they had 24 hour rates and were closer to the beach, there is no question this is where I would stay everytime i come to rio. I think the rooms are much better than the marriott or any other hotel I have seen in rio, the views are breathtaking, you have a big screen tv, king size bed, pool, hydro, and sauna.

The suites are awesome, everything is by 8 hours, and includes breakfast, lol.

One thing to remember is that sometimes they will try to charge you 70reais or so for each additional girl over one you take to a room. I have had to talk them out of it every time (except the one time I rented the millineum suite with 4 centaurus girls, that was a fun time).

I recommend the mid tier suites, the ones with a balcony with a pool and the hydro (whirlpool), king size bed, sauna, etc. I haven't been there for 6 months so someone who has probably remembers the names better but i think they run around 230-270reais for 8 hours. If I remember correctly, it is the suite techno and the suite breeze or something. They all differ (they have like 10 different room types) and there are around 2 of each type (and one millineum suite).

By the way, for those of you who haven't been to vips, almost all of the brazilbang, mikeinbrazil, and other online porno is shot here in the rooms I am talking about (the midtier suites) so if you have seen those movies you have somewhat of an idea of what the rooms are like.

They also automatically charge a service charge on your whole bill (including the room charge) of ten percent, and then ask for an additional tip. I did not notice it at first but now I always have them take the 10% off and pay my tips individually. Why some jerkoff deserves 45 reais plus an extra tip for doing nothing is beyond me. It is always the same guy with a beergut and the other old man who work there doing roomservice, etc. at night so they get to know you if you are there a lot and don't try to mess with you. Also, the manager, a younger guy who is in charge of the front, is usually there every night also, he is very friendly and will usually negotiate on the extra garota charge, etc. BTW, they will also sometimes try to pad your bill if you are ordering a lot of roomservice, etc. On two or three occassions, I had to perform a full out audit with these jokers to figure out what they had overcharged me for. This is not unusual though unfortunately, happens all the time at termas also.

One last thing, if you have the front desk call for a taxi, make sure you check the meter when you get in the car. The taxis give a kickback to the guy at the front desk to pickup customers from here, and they will sometimes try to charge you from where they started from (on their trip to the hotel) cause it is out of the way. A couple times I have gotten into the cab and the meter was already at 10reais.

The thing is--I only have a limited amount of free time---like am's for 3-5 hours starting say 5am. Can I get a room at VIP's and then call Karlas. This may be my only program--since most of the Thermes start at 2pm.

Any other ideas for very early am fun? Can not use my room at the Marriott.

Not sure of the best way to go. I will be staying at the Marriott and can not party there. I do have some free time from early in the am's, say 5-11 am as strange as that sounds. Thought I would try a love hotel and then call an agency.

Just looking for advice. What a great time. Not so concerned about the cash. Possible dupla party would be in order.

If you moved that timetable up a couple of hours, you could catch the tailend of Help or any of the Lido clubs, then go to Magic or Bambina, which are love hotels closer to Copa.

By the way, why not bring girls back to the Marriott? They are very garota friendly and she doesn't even have to register or anything.

Additionally, there was a sauna, steam room, BBQ area, and two other bathrooms. Also an upstairs TV/CD/DVD player. All the TVs get a porno channel (We got Buttman Anal adventure 5)

Also, there is a dining room table that seats I believe 5 for chow (you get two free meals with the suite). Also, between sessions a cleaning crew came in and cleaned the whole place good as new complete to new bedding and towls. They were great.

A really beautiful place. The photos do not begin to represent the beauty this suite has.
