I highly recommend this Parthenon, much better than accomodations in Rio like the Debret and Rio Roiss. Great price 110R a night and strategically located:

Walking distance from laundromat, banks, cafes and local restaurants. Walking distance from another MP but I forgot the name of it.
The garota does not need to sign up and I saw some terrific looking garotas during my stay going up the elevator.
Internet available inside hotel by the reception, cost is 15R for 30 min card with dial up.
Staff speaks some English.
