I'm still working on my full Castle Cali - Trip Report but so many people have PM'd me for Castle Cali info that I figured it would be easier to just make this quick post.


The Castle Cali website is now UP AND RUNNING!!

You're host is a good friend of mine named Juan Carlos Rivera. Just like the boys at the Medellin Mansion/Castillo, his intention is to see that your stay in Cali is comfortable and memorable.

The Castle Cali is NOT associated with the Medellin Mansion/Castillo. However, Juan Carlos has visited the Medellin Mansion/Castillo and hopes to emulate the Mansion/Castillo Medellin set up here in Cali as well.

Uhm... I'm not very sure what a real gun looks like verses a fake gun. Either way, I find guns and nekked girls not all that much of a turn on, but that is just me.

Just to clarify, it is a real gun.

However, the REAL joke is that the girls in the body suites were embarrassed to pose open legged because the body suits were crotchless. So I go ask Juan Carlos if there was something I could use for them to put in front of their crotch. He whips out his pistol and takes out the bullets (counts the bullets and checks the chamber as as I do also) and hands it to me.

Am I wrong or is the purpose of this and other monger boards to share information with other mongers in regards to mongering?

I used to stay at the Cali Plaza and must have wrote about it in a half dozen trip reports and written out the Cali Plaza website address for other mongers to make reservations and NEVER caught any flack from it. What is the difference now?

Just like the Medellin Mansion/Castillo, the Castle Cali is registered as a hotel and is run as a bed and breakfast. Call it whatever else you want but that is what it is on the books.


BTW- Am I also wrong SF or have have you yourself NOT submitted a trip report in the last six years?

And, just to clarify: In case ANYONE has the faintest idea that the girls at the Castle Cali run around with guns. THEY DO NOT.

At the time it was the petty bickering that pissed me off to the point that I stopped posting there. It also pissed off the Admin there to the point that the Colombian thread became fully moderated.

I'm not suggesting that CN should not have posted them, rather I was expressing my personal distaste and providing admittedly strong commentary. Others can find them a turn on. I don't.

When I travel to "Hobby", I'm looking to enjoy "great ass". Aside from practical matters such as expressed by Ceenotes, menace and violence do nothing to enhance my trip and markedly degrade it. So, the choice of accessories, for me, overwhelms the beauty of the models.

As for suggestions that I go and give reports, I have. I, as a policy, don't post pictures. Too many ways it can go bad. And Jonesie, I have been to Colombia and Cuba and have found them to be wonderful places, and you reports have stirred some ideas about returning to Cuba. I think a far more interesting point would be to offer commentary about the "choice of accessories". specifically, "but it's the gun that gives me wood... ".

Cubanut, the background story gives the pictures more context but I still find the gun, especially a real gun, in the photos unfortunate.

Reasonable people can differ.

I don't know what percentage of users write trip reports but I always think of it as to share mongering information. I just felt that SF insinuating my report as being spam because I included information that many have asked for is an unfair judgment to make. However SF is entitled to his opinion but in fairness, so am I.

I believe that all the major hotels in Cali and have at least one armed guard. I know the Cali Dann and Intercontinental have several. So would you not feel comfortable sleeping there also? There is an obvious reason for it. Even the Medellin Mansion has an armed guard in attendance.

I, on the other hand, want photos. I will not be going to AC ever because of photos posted that describes them as "beautiful". While some may think they are, I clearly don't. So seeing photos helps me avoid traveling to places where the women don't meet my particular taste.

Some people do not take constructive criticism well. I think that is the case here.

A pistol is not a TOY, and seeing the way it is being handled here, that is the way it is being treated. You do not put your finger on the trigger unless you are going to fire it, and a weapon should always be considered to be loaded.

As far as having a loaded weapon on the premises, there is a world of difference from a trained professional security guard carrying a firearm at a major hotel, to the owner of a bed and breakfast carrying one around on himself. If he feels that there is a need for him to be armed inside of his property, that should raise questions for any sane person to think twice about staying there.

I do have to admit, even though I knew 100% the gun was unloaded, I would not want it pointed at me to take the picture. Other than that, I liked the prop. Now if it were a vibrator, different story, those things scare the hell out of me.

As I said before EVERYONE has a right to their opinion. However, if this post is that disturbing to our fellow "sensitive mongers", I'd be happy to request Hombre Admin to simply remove the entire post altogether. It won't bother me none.

I'll go even farther and just lurk or post tidbits or reports without pictures (with terrible props) or no pictures for that matter and that way I will be sure to offend no one.


BTW- The proprietor, Juan Carlos was once shot and left for dead during a hold up robbery in NEW YORK CITY!! So I don't blame him for wanting to protect his property and the safety of his clients in Cali.


Lastly,

I don't care if no one stays at the Castle Cali. In fact it might enable me to be able to get a reservation anytime I want during the year. Funny thing is that I hyped the Medellin Mansion/Castillo so much that there have been times when I couldn't even stay there myself because they were booked solid. If you don't believe me, call Marcy the manager or Greg or Robert to confirm.

Cubanut -- did you borrow the gun many separate times, or were the girls lined up and waiting to be photographed all at one time? I count either four or five different girls with the prop.

I'm not sure which answer I'm hoping for. The first one involves a LOT of handling of an armed weapon, not to mention having to say, "wait here honey. I have to go get a gun." to a naked girl that -- presumably -- you're about to join in that state. Four or five times.

The second answer conjures up a scenario where the person running the joint says, OK all you girls, get up into CN's room so he can take photos of each of you holding a gun." Although that would be a fun evening, it feels very promotion-oriented to me.

I actually had to explain how I got bumped around from room to room. Like I said before, at times it's hard to get a reservation at the Mansion. So maybe I'm doing myself a disservice by sharing the Castle Cali info.

I know the Mansion in either city might be somebody's thing or right up somebody's alley but it is totally unnecessary to have a great time in either city. Just hit the massage parlors or casas in the day or night and get their phone numbers for a later repeat rondevous PLUS you can negotiate much cheaper rates. These girls will also have phone numbers of other girls, maybe even newbies?(Jackpot) Make sure you are staying in a chica friendly establishment and case closed.

I run several web sites, and these type of issues pop up. In this case, we should look at CN's contribution (which is very large), and therefore cut him some slack. If some guy with zero posts, and has been on the site for 1 day posts this, he should get shot down, but not CN. We should be considering the source.

How many rooms and how much?

All of this inane chatter, AND the guns (which I find creepy, but Cubanut can do and post what he likes) is worth it, just to get a look at that SWEET colombiana with the braces and bikini.

I, for one, appreciate the photos and the report, and think this site benefits greatly from the contributions C'nut makes.

I guess I was first a bit shocked as well by the pics with the guns but this has gotten ludicrous. Being a New Yorker all my life who's never owned a firearm, I'm all for gun control laws but for crying out loud people, we've all seen pics before of hot chicks and guns, it's not that uncommon. In fact, I suspect it's a visual fetish for some guys, you can find plenty of free pics in Google Images, including real female members of the IDF, and some of those Israeli girls are hot! LOL!


As for Cubanut, he's one of the top mongers out there, with lots of knowledge and experience in Colombia. And now he's the best photographer as well, does anyone out there even come close to the quality AND quantity of his pics??

Cubanut could build his own site and charge money for access to his pics and his mongering knowledge if he wanted to. Instead of sniping and flaming the guy, I think we should be grateful he posts what he does here.


As for the Castle Cali, I'm glad to hear the owner is armed! I hope he has another security guard too. Cali is not as safe as Medellin and a hotel with gringo tenants and P4P chicas hanging out can definitely be a target. I think everyone here knows about the armed robbery at the Mansion a while back.


By the way, if the sight of guns scare you, then you definitely shouldn't go to Colombia, lol! There's armed guards all over, even more so in Cali, especially around the banks, and even then there have been successful bank heists in Cali!

I have to respond here.

Guns. They represent menace and violence. Those are not things I associate with having a good time with a naked chica. Some guys get turned on by that very menace and violence. To me, that says something.

Another theme here is that guys who find the guns disturbing and/or distasteful are "pussies", full of fear of the virile guns. That says even more.

I have, twice, been target shooting. I get the visceral feeling that shooting a gun imparts. I know from where it comes and I want no part of it when I'm with a beautiful girl.

Looking over the pics, I think it spooks some guys because in some of the pics, the girl is pointing the gun right at the viewer with the finger in the trigger and looking like she's aiming and about to fire.

That's not a common angle with these types of pics.

Whereas in the average "chick with gun pic" you can find on the web, the chick is holding a rifle pointed down, without her finger on the trigger, or she's aiming at something off to the side away from the viewer.

This guy got reprimanded and got into pissing matches with other members and the Mod over at ISG for soliciting and continuously trying to post emails. There were some accusations that he was getting kickbacks from the mansion as well for bringing in mongers.

Then he said "ok, I had enough, I’m leaving" so long, good bye and good riddance"

They’re where a few people who expressed their dismay but he was soon quickly forgotten.

But his EGO and Vanidoso could not keep him away for long. That’s why he is stuck on Regular Member and has NO P.M. privileges. He just isn’t trusted by the management to follow the rules there.

I was there back in July 2004 at Hotel Don Jaime. Had a blast, spent most of my time with a semi-pro i met right at the restaurant of the hotel.

There was a ton of pickup spots and a pretty cheap brothel. The mall is cool too.

As for ISG:

I NEVER made the statement on ISG "ok, I had enough, I’m leaving" so long, good bye and good riddance" so I would appreciate that you admit that I did not.

I NEVER got reprimanded on ISG and I just stopped posting when the Colombian board went on FULL moderation because it took a day for posts and pictures to update and by then a new post could be pushed down and lost (different format). Well that and the whole reason why it went to full moderation because of all the flame wars that were going on (between many members).

MANY members left ISG and actually came here. I stopped posting a year ago on ISG and only logged into ISG a month or so ago because SEVERAL posting friends still on the ISG, who I personally have met on trips, said most of the flamers had been weeded out and banned and they missed my picture posts. So I returned.

As for the PM's being off, I have stated it in my posts on ISG but I can't send a message to the moderator BECAUSE MY PM IS OFF!! DUHH!! I guess after a year not logging on I got downgraded to Regular member, Big Deal!


Again, having to explain myself!! What the crap?

I don't think Cubanut made that exact statement over on ISG. What I recall is that Cubanut posted some photos, and a loaded question, and a moderator had them removed. Cubanut got upset, decided not to play by the new, and restrictive rules.

One way you could avoid some of the questions that are asked about your photos would be to leave the Metadata alone on your photos. You know that information that is embedded into the photo file that has the time/date stamp, camera type etc. I suspect that when you work on them in photoshop to adjust the color and other items, you also remove that information.

What would I have done? I would have handled the issue in an adult and professional manner without copping an attitude which is something that you find difficult to do.

Posting professional high quality photos is not the issue here. It's your attitude, and the way that you get offended whenever someone makes a negative comment, whether it's deserved or not.

Gooch, RTGooch made a very astute comment. Dude, you go to more places and post more reports than just about anyone else here. And you seem to have the knack of finding some real honeys wherever you go. If you can do all that, it is very surprising that you react so badly to some very respectful questioning of your posts/photos.

In all fairness, you really have not provided any real useful information here. How much are the rooms? What do the girls ask for ST/LT, what kind of neighborhood is it in, etc. but yet you have torn into SF Hombre for not posting a report in 6 years, and sobe9ball because the guy did not have a great time in Medellin.

So are you going to answer RTGooch's questions? Or how about mine on the metadata?

As a fairly new Colombia enthusiast, I appreciate the information about a location many of us are only slightly aware of at best. I am much more interested in the report and information that may help improve my vacation than personal attacks that have nothing to do with mongering in Cali.

I mention mongering in Cali more than once as that is the purpose of this report. How to monger in Cali and some options for lodging and girls. Cubanut's relationship with ISG and gun control opinions have nothing to do with the price of ass in Cali.

As I've said before, should any of the critics wish to go to Cali and offer alternative information, then by all means post it...

RTGooch asked if I had to run back and forth for the gun. The answer is no. The three girls and the girl in the thong were with me at the same time.

Your question was about the Metadata (time/date stamp, camera type). The program I use to resize the pictures for CH posting for whatever reason, only exludes the camera type and time date stamp. I am not sure why this is so important to anyone. Anyway, I have posted before that I use a Nikon D50. The time and date stamp will always be wrong because i never set the date or time on any of my cameras. It's not important to me to know what date or time of the day I take a picture. Besides, once CH showcases the pictures you can't copy the pictures to get that information anyway.

So Roadglide I remember about 1 1/2 years ago on the ISG board someone asked why my picture time and date stamps didn't match the dates of my trip. I explained the same way as I have here. Was that you who asked that question? If so I have a question for you. As far as I know, the only way to get the Metadata is to first copy the image to your own computer. So is that what you do? Copy the images to your own computer then scrutinize what camera and time and date the pictures were taken? If so, why?

Really? No useful info? You mean providing info to get Juan Carlos's email and USA tel # and Cali cell # is not useful? So no one can dial a phone and/or send him an email to ask?

ANYWAY-The rooms are $50 and up depending on size and amenities like internet in room/jacuzzi etc. Please refer exacting questions to Juan Carlos.

The girls ask $100,000 cop for ST and I NEVER do LT so again ask Juan Carlos for that info.

I don't understand why the Colombia boards attract all these petty flame wars. The "other board" really went downhill for awhile and still isn't all that good.

All it does is just discourage the better mongers from posting. If everything they post is going to be scrutinized and criticized, guys will just throw their hands up in frustration and say "why bother?"

This guy, who I believe goes by "MiamiHeatLuver" on the other board, makes some ridiculous and unprovable accusations, almost sounds like chica gossip. Yet most of his posts on both boards are whines or complaints about something. Compare that to CN's reports and pics. Who's the more valuable contributor? At times the "player hating" on these boards that some members exhibit is so obvious to me it's laughable.

As for the metadata issue, I can't speak for everyone here, but I usually strip the metadata of practically all my pics, even the normal ones, for privacy reasons. One would think a monger would understand and respect concerns about privacy.

I hate to sound like a fanboy and I'm guilty for not being much of a contributor myself as I don't get to monger much, but guys like CN are not the badguys here. More like trailblazers for people like me.

Barking the monger stars away is going to diminish this board just like it did the other one.

sobe, don't want to get into a flame war like I said previously but you and "MHL" from the other forum (I'm talking about ISG here, not WSA) seem to post very similar things at around the same time, so I figured you had a different alias on the other board which is cool with me. If that's not the case then my bad, although I'm not yet entirely convinced. I used to go by another alias here myself, but I changed it to "Phunluv" so that I go by the same alias on all the different boards I check out.

It's true I only monger once or twice a year, not that I have a problem with the "save some money" part, lol, but you do realize that people out there do have career and family priorities?

Anyway, you can be as "cynical and combative" as you want. No skin off my back. Just don't find it all that useful. Meanwhile, Cubanut provided me with a lot of helpful advice on my trip to Cali back in November '06 for which I will always be grateful to him.

In the meantime, I'll patiently wait for your trip report about the Latin-American country you discovered where prices never go up, it's always safe, the dollar is strong, no six-pack mongers, the non-pros are "easy" and welcoming, and the pros always give BBBJs. Even with my limited experience, I can figure not even Brazil goes 6 for 6. And trust me, Cuba is not some secret monger utopia, it's more like a dystopia, although it's true you can have fun there with the right attitude and approach.

I've also found CN to be a source of valid and useful information, and also a good guy to hang with. I'm not sure where all this is coming from, but it doesn't seem warranted to me. Some of the whiners are guys who haven't contributed even 5% of what CN has shared.

Phunluv, I am looking at MHL posts I do agree he is very cynical but reading back on his some of his posts he has not once given praises to another monger where a I have given many praises and kudos to many a poster on here. I do agree with many things he has said though. He makes some sense here and there whether you agree with it or not.

I have a career and a family but my work allows me to travel on "business" so I dont know what your trying to get at, If your family or career doesnt allow you to be as blessed as some to travel or monger, whos fault is that?

I know where to go and do my own thing. I know how to get the 6 out of 6 as you put it. You just have to know where to travel and how to compose yourself, be on the prowel have confidence and make your 6 out of 6 a mandatory prerequisite instead of taking whats given to you.

But then again we are very similar in one aspect, and that aspect is that we are more LEACHERS than SEEDERS. lol

CubaNut is good people. I don't know who some of these other guys are, but they should be so lucky to roll with CN.

Thanks for all you've done for the board CN. Although my initial reaction to the chicas with guns wasn't good, who cares! Your explanation for the use of the gun prop makes sense, and made the photos very enjoyable. Don't let the voice of a few overshadow the sentiment shared by many - that posters like you make this board what it is.

Not blaming anyone, not even myself. On the contrary, I consider myself very blessed for the family and position that I have; I wouldn't trade that for a thousand puta trips. Priorities dude. My trips are just brief vacations/escapes, just for fun, but I do appreciate the info that the "lifestyle mongers" post here.

I doubt I'll find anything new for my trip to Rio this May that I'm starting to prep for, but I promise to post it in the Brazil section if I do. And with this post, CN's got me thinking of Cali again.

Cubanut: Another great report with great pics and great information. The pics did not bother me...and if they did...nobody put a gun to my head and made me look at them. (no pun intended).

I do appreciate your reports, but I understand how you feel about getting whacked here. I never post trip reports anymore, and I never post pics. It is just not worth the hassle. It seems I am not the only one in this position.

I have only been to Cali one time, but your posts make me want to go back. The girls are hot...smokin hot...like that pistol.
