Heading to Rio in October .. but am thinking of taking a side trip to Salvador Bahia. I hear it's really nice and got a lot of good culture going on .. anyone have any thoughts!!??

Any talent there?

If you are going to Salvador looking for better action than Rio, you are wasting your time. It is a smaller and slower town for girls. Not many clubs and with few girls. The prices are not better in most cases. It is a nice city to visit. I was there in 2006 and 2008. Took the buses all over the city without any problems. The escorts are almost twice the cost as in Rio.
