i don't mean to knock every place in SP, but again, i had a really bad time at love story.

first of all, i didn't even have to pay cover...although i did go early. which normally might be good, but this meant TONS OF BRAZILIAN GUYS pouring in.

imagine Help, except the male-female ratio is reversed...yeah, pretty bad sausage-fest.

the girls were also kind of heinous. might have been there on a bad day, but i doubt it.

oh, and it's also in the centro, and i kept thinking i was going to get stabbed in the back if i strayed too far from the club to get a cab.

go only if you have no other choice. but i will not be making a second trip to love story.

yeah, i like W but it is too pricey to hit often. i didn't like bomboa, but it may be because i was there early before most of the selection showed up. i was really annoyed last time i went when a nasty looking puta came over and refused to leave until i bought her a drink.

I went to love story last week around 4am.
The talent started to roll in around 5am so you know alot of these girls were on hitting some lines before going in. The thing about this club is you can go up to a good looking girl and she still shoot you down even if she is on the program. Sorta good in a way, you dont want to take a girl back to the room for a bad fuck. Prices are too high, $R50 to get it with 2 drinks. I almost got into a fight outside with some young 20yo punk. the guy keep pulling my shirt trying to say something to me. I wasn't thinking and told him the next time he touches me that I was going to lay one on him so security broke it up. I was drunk not thinking, this is not the states and everyone is most likely to have guns somewhere hidden. so becareful outside this club, alot of shady people.
Anyway, I pulled out a nice morena at 5am for R$100 until the next afternoon. Next time I go back, I will make sure the fellas are around.

Love Story – Love Story is an after hours club that caters to the girls in the bars and nightclubs. It is about 3 blocks from Kilt. Entry fee is R$10-R$30 for guys depending on the day, and maybe the time. It’s in an older, warehouse like space, very dark, very loud, very smoky. The night I went, there seemed to be about as many guys as women. The general quality of women wasn’t very high, mostly 5’s, 6’s, and only a handful of 7’s. I didn’t find anybody I liked, but I did see a nice high 7- low 8 morena I had seen at Café Photo the previous night just as I was leaving. She was already hooked up with some other guy or I would have taken her back to my hotel.

So, exactly what does one at Love Story before 3 am?

Many of the garotas whom do not get hired by closing time will wonder on down the street, Rua Nestor Pestana and look for action at Love Story or just to unwind and have fun. Also many will go there after their dates too. What I don't like about L.S. is their entrance fee (though you get two drink's with it) and price of drink's inside. Mgmt/security know's me and I get in for free with a little handshake tip (w/o drinks). You can hang outside and observe the eye candy that may arrive?

Thanks, MD, I know we've discussed this before, but I saw a recent post (maybe somewhere else) where the poster wrote that Love Story is closed Sundays nights... so now I'm looking for someone to set me straight (before I look for the garota to do the same )

On their website, http://www.danceterialovestory.com.br, it states that they are open from Monday-Monday at 0100 hours. The best times are after 0300-0400, as the other clubs close down then and the parade of garotas arriving in after those hours is amazing to watch.

Here's my experience with Love Story from late December:

I arrived about 3a Saturday (technically early Sunday AM), walking the 3 or 4 blks from Kilt. 50R entrance and the place was already getting crowded. I can see why this place is called the Help of SP. Tons of girls (although not as much nor as good as Help), and lots of variety... but in addition to the way late start time, I have to make note of three main differences: first, Love Story is much smaller, maybe half the size of Help; second, while the high ceilings of Help allow the smoke to dissipate, Love Story is so thick with cig smoke that you can’t see half way across the room!; last, where Help has numerous places where you can escape being directly in front of a speaker and carry on a conversation, at Love Story the music is blasting at what I deem an uncomfortable level, and there's nohwere to escape it. In summary, I liked what the place offered for garotas, but where I really like all that Help offers, at Love Story I find I’m suffering through the place (like a Miami disco!), which isn't the case at Help. Thus, if you don’t like to play the game in the US, but find you manage through Help, Love Story may not be for you.. but If you love Help, and can get over the crowded noisy disco thing, then you just may find Love Story your thing.

I eyed a cutie, but held out for a hottie. I continued to make eye contact and smile and say a few things to her every time I passed her way as I continued to work the crowd for someone compelling. Finally, it must have been around 5a, and I was ready to get home... so I committed with the cutie. I tried for a freebie, but she said she wanted to work so I offered 200R (or was it 150R... now I don't remember) and she immediately accepted. I was not able to take any photos of her. Figures not more that five minutes later, a hottie comes in... and of course she’s eyeing me down the entire time. I caught up with her as I made ‘a bathroom run’ and Daniela tells me she goes for no less than 300R. I told her I’m not ‘that type’ of gringo, and I was already committed to someone though as pretty as she is, and we exchanged phone numbers.

I have to give this place a big thumbs downn, mainly for personal reasons.

1) I fucking hate crowds. I got there with MitchC about 4:30am and it was fucking jammed to the walls packed.

2) I just finished 3 sessions a Millenium and was completely wiped out.

Not that I was really looking, but I didn't see any girls there that I would pay to fuck. I ended up leaving Mitch there at 6:30. I couldn't take it anymore.

This was the club that rounded out my 24 hour whirlwind SP visit. Not bad for my first monger trip to Sampa!

i enjoyed my time there. i was actually the last guy out of the place (9:30 a.m.). i pulled a decent puta out of there eventually. i think i paid $100R and she stayed far into the following afternoon. not bad. especially since this hooker works at Romanza, which is a clip joint.

Love Story was awful the last two times I went. It was packed, intolerably loud and smoke filled. The ratio of men to women was about 5 to 1 and the talent at best was 6 on the scale. On a positive note, they no longer had an entrance fee at least on my most recent visit.

Currently, Love Story is closed. They were open when I was down there last year.

It´s open. I took a drive-by last night after Bomboa.

I am glad to hear it, even so I am not a huge fan of it (I just hate hearing of any popular mongering venues closing down). As mentioned in one of the earlier threads, for me it was also intolerably loud and crowded, and from what I recall only dance/house/electronic music.. with other music highly remixed - I love nightclubs, but not with only that type of music (When every song is so remixed it barely compares to the original version). Funny, comparatively for me Help was never too loud...actually, I thought it was somewhat too quiet compared to other nightclubs.

They were open Sundays before. I guess they are closed on Sundays now.
