Sorry for the delayed post. I'm new here. I signed up for 5 days at: www.mywildvacation.com in Feb 2007. It SUCKED! Cost $400 deposit and you are supposed to pay the balance upon arrival. I was met at the Caracas airport (CCS) by my contact as expected. That part went well and he was VERY helpful. I was then met by my driver as expected on the island's airport (POL) and that was refreshing. On the drive in, the American owner calls me on his driver's cell to say he had to temporarily shut down due to a Govt crackdown on places like his. Thanks for letting me know asshole. So, I get dropped off at a small, family oriented place down the street from his casa on the beach at Playa el Agua. The driver picks me up a few hours later and brings me to a private house next door where they have a lineup of 6 girls. I'm told now that meals are on me but to just keep my receipts and I'll be reimbursed later. Ya, right! They were supposed to offer meals as part of the package. I discreetly made up my mind right then and there that I was cutting loose and just doing my own thing.
Long story short, I took off with 2 of the girls, had a nice 3some my 2nd night, fucked my first one several times, fired her tired ass, left the hotel they dropped me at without paying them anything, and rented a decent posada up the street for $33.00 bucks a night. Belgian couple were running it. They hooked me up with a very reliable driver for some touring around the island for much less than the local agencies were offering. He in turn hooks me up with a very petite, long black haired MILF for a blind date. She was the friend of his girlfriend. Fucked her a couple of times as a GFE for the remainder of my stay and made it home with tons of unspent spare cash that was supposed to be paid to mywildvacation.
Now, if you visit their site, they have moved their operation to the Dominican Republic, Puerta Plata/Sosua area. You can do far better mongerig on your own in that part of the world for sure. You don't need to pay $2,500 for 5 days/4 nights.
Margarita Island has lost its place as a mongering spot. Chavez is ruining his country and prices are becoming quite steep, not the value it was 5 years ago. Sure, gas costs 12 cents a gallon, but that's about the only benefit to going there.
I didn't scout the whore action in the largest city on the island, Porlamar, but I'm sure its around. Playa El Agua has a few beach bars and the putas can be found working there later at night. Don't pay more than $50.00 and move on if they won't budge. Do your research as many places are not guest friendly there.

If you had joined a site like this before your trip, you would have known better, I almost did the same many years ago before I luckily discovered Costa Rica and learned better.

There was a Chavez crackdown about this time, Margarita Island was on British TV in a program called "My boyfriend the sex tourist". One of these sex vacation outfits was run by an English guy who gave the film crew full run of the place to see his operation. The news that Margarita Island was a mongering destination got out rapidly and that resulted in the crackdown. Most if not all of the operators were immediately shut down and relocated to the Dominican Republic.

Yes, true. However, the message board on the MWV website REPEATEDLY stated that owing to their lower key manner of doing business they weren't affected. Right up till the day before I flew out the owner replied to my email telling me, "You're all set". So he lied to me right up till my arrival. I was willing to take a chance on this place as the price was OK ($2,500 for a week incl meals) and I felt like being pampered. He even sent some English speaking Dutch kid to collect the balance owed from my $400 deposit paid 8 months earlier. I'm staying at this family oriented place covertly banging whores on my own basically, and he wants the rest of his money? What a douchebag!! I told this Dutch guy to get lost, grabbed my 2 carry on bags, and met one of his whores that I stole from him (I banged 2 of them together the night before) and found another place nearby and just did my own thing for the rest of my stay. It was an adventure anyway and I somehow managed a decent adventure. Now, tell me more about Costa Rica, I'm thinking about Jaco....lol. Take care.
