I recieved several new cards from the guys on the street next to the cemetary. This place is bigger than Modaho. They said that there are 150 girls but only saw about 60 on Tuesday night at about 11pm. They wanted $90p for entrance for two drinks. I passed on it but they let me look into the club area for a minute or so. Didn't see any girls that catch my eye.

Was in town Tuesday with a friend who wanted to go to a club so I took him to Hippopotamus. They let us in without a cover - big deal! The drinks were $100p each. Almost half of the girls are dancers. If you wanted to take out a dancer, it will cost you two drinks at $550p each and the other girls are two drinks at $400p each. Then you also have to pay the girls. Brazil is not the only place going sky high. Most of the girls are not better than the private apartments at $100 for 30 minutes.

Hippopotamus, like Blacks, was closed down by the government recently but has reopened again. They wanted to charge me a 300 peso cover to see their diminished lineup (from being closed recently) so I walked away. I saw a very attractive lady being escorted back to the club by another guy, but I doubt she or anyone else working would have been worth the expense.
