My last time there was in early 2000. The place is very nice (not many patrons, so not much cigarrette smoke), girls are beautiful (or average) but won't approach you unless you call them and invite them a drink (since I don't want to pay a zillion bar tabs, I always skip the place).

Prices should be around ar$100-ar$150 for 2 hours plus the hotel. There are a couple of hotels nearby where the girls say they go.

Finally, I had the opportunity to meet DH last night. We met around midnight at Rio Cabañas (5000s of Cordoba) with his friend "Viktor the Rumanian". DH was much more charming and discreet that I imagined before. We had a very nice time visiting places. Viktor is a "man of world" who knows the ropes pretty well. ar$10 the drinks.

We remained about an hour at Rio Cabañas, a place that seems to cater exclusively to foreigners: A few tables occupied, most of them with Asian patrons, girls cheering "hello" instead of "hola". Girls don't approach patrons unless called. Rio Cabañas is perhaps the only place in which you won't smell cigarrette smoke but seems to be boring to hell. Viktor commented that a girl once charged him ar$150 for 1 hour (includes drinks and hotel). Girls were pretty but not outstanding

I made a stop here on this trip. A few of the ladies were in my range but I didn't go with any. It's interesting to see the Asians come into this place and pay for a lady without buying any drinks or even talking to them, but I guess they're saving money since it's not required. My beer set me back 160 pesos.
