Here is my dilemma, Im all set to go to San Jose CR for a semester abroad through my university and Im having second thoughts. Im thinking that Buenos Aires might be the better place to go. I havent visited either place.
My top concerns are, #1 crime, Im not worried about strongarm robberies I just don’t want to get kidnapped or shot.
#2 The cost of living. My tuition is about the same for both places, looks like the chicas are a little more in BA, but they look well worth it. I will monger hard core the week before classes begin, but then will have to hold it to one or two a week to maintain my budget, so im looking more at rent, food and non chica entertainment costs…..If im going to change plans and to to argentina instead, I have to get the paperwork started pretty soon, I don’t know what the hell to do……ALL ADVICE IS VERY VERY WELCOME

Hey Travis, culturally IMHO, BA has much more history over CR. And Arg. girls really dig American guys. Especially if your young and caucasian. And while your down there don't forget to make a run to Rio.

Dude -- I´ll tell you, I´ve been to SJ several times. It´s an unqualified shithole, and thouroughly disappointing on the hobby froint. Ended up snagging a dutch tourist spanish student instead. Really, there is no question. Girls ijn the famous couple of clubs there near the park (can´t remember what they are called now) were really a letdown. Girls not friendly at all (I speak fluent Spanish), stuck up. Buenos Aires you´ve got very hot pros in the brothels for from $15 to $50. And $50 gets you uncomplaining analk, BBBJ and an oral finish, very high quality chicks. BA wins hands down. Can´t spoeak to teh clkubs & GFE in BA, it´s been a pretty professional environment, but still, get what you bargain for, no bullshit. And if you´re a novice to Latin America, SJ is kind of seedy & depressing. You´ll get a kick out of European BA.
