I have not been to Brazil yet, but with the news on Friday I might be planning a trip. The news of the Olympics reinforces in my mind that prices for pay to play will be increasing wildly. I can imagine more people will be visiting Brazil and the demand for sex will be ever increasing in the years to come.

I have concluded the time to visit Brazil is now...not one year...not six months. This might be the last time to get in on the action before visitors start to spike into Brazil in mass.

I can only imagine how much it will cost in the weeks or days before and during the events. I can imagine prices probably rising 500-1000% to above what Americans or Europeans pay in their respective countries.

Even after the Olympics are over, prices will probably decrease, but the elevated tourism will continue on and still be much higher then prior to the Olympics.

I think your a little early. The world still has to get thru the 2012 olympics.

Because mongers the world over always take trips to Olympic venues to enjoy the 1000% price increases? And that even though sex tourism accounts for well under 1% of the trade in Rio, fraction of 1% will somehow cause a 10-times increase in prices? And you figured all of that out without ever having actually been to Brasil?

One of the funniest posts I've read in some time. Sorry. People are going to start pouring into Rio and driving up prices in the next few months because the Olympics will happen in...7 years? In the midst of a global economic turndown?

Tourism has never spiked in other Olympic cities prior to the event. If things go well during the Olympics, Rio may see in increase after the event, due to all the exposure. But beforehand? Fat chance.

The funniest was the guy posting last year about whether he should by an apartment in Rio because they won the World Cup 2014 tourney.

Think of it this way. What long-term changes happened - in either real estate and/or pussy prices - in Atlanta, Athens, Sydney, Barcelona, Seoul or Los Angeles. Zero really, unless the house you owned was bought for right-of-way.

There is nothing cheap about Rio for a tourist!!! I can just imagine what it will be like for the Olympics....if you plan on going during that time you better start saving now!

The girls can't think ahead even one day in most cases - if you are lucky maybe one week - so I seriously doubt the Olympics would have any impact until they actually happen!

The "Time to visit Brazil" was actually back in the mid 90's before the internet exposure ruined it. Once you get that part out of the way you can look to the "golden age" after the Real was floated when all of a sudden you had 2X+ the $$$ with minimal price increase if any...

Next would be the last of the "good old days" of the $R at 3.8/1...

Having said all that the best time to go to Brazil is anytime you can..., as already mentioned what we see barely scratches the surface. "Rio" is not Brazil, and tons of action exist in BH, Curitiba, Recife etc. Even in Rio the variation is huge, I happened to hit VM with a bunch of Don's guys back on what I believe was Jags 1st venture there. One of the gals we noted was a gorgeous little (assumed to be underaged) spinner...who I found at MC a couple of years later...
