Fr centro mototaxi (s/3) on dirt road to 3 chongos door-to-door. Inside the familiar red lites. No cover. Each chongo 25 rms, s/15 session. Open 6pm-midnite m-sa. The left chongo has a dance stage & pole.
On the other side of small dirt parking lot Bar Recreo, El Amigo, & restaurant where the chicas order food. Looked like a tornado or sandstorm destroyed the roof.
taxi said there are many casas in town but didnt have chance to visit. Also saw Scarlets ad in paper.

one of the downsides of having traveled to hundreds of cities....
arrived in this southern peruvian town fri nite. walked around centro, found a decent hotel among many. continued exploring on foot, thought this was my 1st time here. shit, brainfart!
visited this town few yrs ago, i had forgotten
Discovered colectivo stop by querying taxistas, located at corner of Urumbamba & Ayacucho, few blks south of Plaza de Armas. pasaje s/ 1. short drive across bridge over rio ica, turn right to dirt rd.
signage for bar recreio & el amigo gone. reconstruction in process. roof rebuilt. but the 3 chongos still there. open 6p-10p m-sa.
free entry to all 3 chongos. 30+ rms in right chongo, session s/ 20. (chicas pay s/ 5 per day for rent according to a memo i saw posted on wall).
middle chongo has 30 rms, session s/ 15. left chongo (casa gladys) 35 rms, s/ 20. found doables in all 3 chongos including a cutie who looked like a teen mag cover girl. glad i cluelessly wandered back to ica.
returning to centro, colectivo goes to Plaza de Armas, turns right on corner of Lima & Cajamarca. might be more convenient to alight there before colectivo returns to its stop at Urumbamba & Ayacucho.
