I wanted to share one really great cosmetic procedure I am undergoing - Laser Hair treatment. The hair on my back has been driving me nuts forever. In the past I used to get it waxed and removed in Ipanema - Pelo Zero Depilação - for R$15 for the back + R$10 for the shoulder every two months.

I finally decided to a get a more permanent solution - laser hair removal. I shopped around and the average price for a complete removal from the butt crack, back, and upper shoulder section for all sessions tends to average R$3000 - R$3500 ($1700 - $2000). Quite pricey.

I was lucky and found a place in Ipanema that had a special promotion - their goal was to get enough customers to be able to buy their own laser machine for the office, versus renting - like most offices do (they rotate a machine in and out of the office).

I paid R$1200 ($685) for 8 sessions, 1 session every 2 months. So far I have had 4 sessions and have been very pleased. To top it off, they let me split into 6 payments with no interest. The promotion is over now, but still I think they are relatively reasonably priced.

The only downside is that laser hair treatment requires multiple visits - so unless you visit Brazil quite a bit, or of course live here, it might not feasible.

What to expect? For me it has not been so painful. It is a little uncomfortable in certain parts, but no big deal. It takes about one hour or so and you have to avoid sun for a couple of weeks before and after the procedure.

The also offer a laser hair removal for beards...imagine not having to shave again. The latter seems to be pretty common for what I can tell. But I will finish with my back and then go from there.

I am also looking at another procedures that removes the bags under your eyes - the removal of fat under the eyes, which takes away some of the tired look - called Blepharoplasty.

In Brazil with a good Plastic Surgeon (not one procedure to skimp on), the cost is R$3500 ($2000). I know one excellent doctor who is done a few jobs for other people, also this to paid over one year interest free

I guess I am very metro sexual :-) Yes, let the jokes begin :-)

LM, no jokes for taking care of your body and appearance. Garotas appreciate a clean guy as much as we like them to take care of themselves too.

Yes, it is the same place -- Pelo Zero on Visconde da Piraja. Just about across the street from the Frontera restaurant. For me personally, I would ask for the same girl (who lives in Rochinha). I would always bring her a Victoria Secrets creme and tip her an extra 5R, in turn she would do the neck, back, and shoulders but just mark it up as Shoulders. Which was 15R. Who knows they probably pay the girl 1000R a month to work 60 hour weeks. She told me she had to work both Xmas eve and New Years eve.
I am not embarassed to admit it, but sometimes I would even get the "more sensitive" areas waxed too. I enjoy a nice clean pussy, so figure I would return the favor. The garotas all seem to like it.

The girl told me that lots of guys -- moreso Italians come and have their facial hair waxed. I can't imagine doing this, but according to the girl she says it happens frequently there.

In regards to the Laser Hair Removal, I know of a garota who got the procedure done with her crotch area. I want to say she went to some clinic in Niteroi. Some gringo paid for it -- about 1500R and she can go back for 1 year. Usually every 6-8 weeks. Who ever that guy is, I want to personally say "Obrigado". The girl's pussy area is smooth as a baby's bottom, plus it looks pretty too.

There is one very good clinic in Niteroi...that is actually where I want to do my Blepharoplasty. I don't have the paperwork right here and the name, but he has been highly recommended by a few people I know (If it is of interest to someone, I can look it up and post it - or just e-mail me). I went for him for a quote on the hair removal, but he was a little pricey for me. His clinic is 1st world - super modern, he worked and studied in the US, and speaks perfect English. Imagine 1500R for just pussy hair removal, how much an entire back will cost. He also would not do my entire back at once, only little section at a time. Would have taken forever. This laser removal clinic in Ipanema does everything in one session each time.

The waxing started getting to me, as it itched like a #$%#% when started to grow back...that was actually more unpleasant then the removal itself. With laser removal the itching is gone... each cycle of the laser treatment removes another hair growth cycle. Can't wait to have clean back.

Now, the Blepharoplasty scares me a little more since it is around the eyes.... I have my Asia trip coming up with many late and drinking nights, so I will get that done afterwards (otherwise my under the eye bags & tired look will come right back :-)

Regarding the waxing...that clinic in Ipanema is great and very reasonable priced. In my case, I only had the top of my shoulder done to blend in with my back and they lowered the price to R$10.00.

What a deal overall, however, R$25.00 (i.e. $14.00 USD) for the entire back and top of the shoulders. I wonder what the cost would be in the US.

LM.

The girl may have went to the same clinic you are talking about. I don't spot a single follicle of hair around this girl's pussy. I mean nothing at all in her crotch area. It is a great feeling having her ride me cowgirl with no stubble rubbing onto my crotch...we all hate that.

A full back wax back here in the States is $53.00 (not including tip). The neck line and shoulders are separate. I think it would be over $70 for everything...crazy.

Not only is it much more expensive, the quality of the wax used is inferior and much more painful. My back would stay red over 2 days and I would have a decent amount of acne that would last another few days. In Rio at that waxing center, I would have none of this. The initial redness is gone within a few hours.

I would be interested in some of the pricing at those clinics. Unfortunately, I am getting to the point I have considered some hair restoration surgery. I'd be curious general pricing per graft for this type of surgery. A base standard is something like $2.00 per graft.

About a week ago, I completed another cosmetic procedure in Brazil - blepharoplasty. It removes the bags under the eyes, well earned after lots of late nights, drinking, and whoring....I did both the upper and lower eyelids. Not exactly cheap....complete procedure, including anesthesia was R$4000 (About USD$2300). Not sure how much this procedure would cost in the US, but I think not much more. The Doctor was great...and I can see the results already even so my eyes are still swollen, black, and blue...

The good thing is that the doctor, like most places, offer interest free payments....I divided mine into 12 installments.

Becoming a complete metrosexual :-)

The back laser treatment is working great....up to my 6th session. Almost all my lower and upper back, including shoulder hair is almost completely gone. Only two more treatments to go.... cost only $600 USD....well worth it. Very little pain, and the clinic is just a couple of blocks away from where I live.

What about a verga enlargement?

You might be famous if you were 28 x 6?

How much does this cost and how long would one be out of action?

MM

ps: Happy other surgery is going well.

I'm packing already naturally, no need for any enlargement :-)
