I was browsing Hotforum for the first time in many months and discovered that a new Termas has opened this Monday in Centro - Termas Number One at 74 Rua da Quitanda.
Only time will tell how well it works out but here is the description I read:

R$90 is less than they charge at the fast sex shops for 30 minutes. So I am thinking that the talent might be off.

The better apartment places like Duda and Flavia, I believe charge 70R for 40 minutes. So, I would gladly pay extra to hang out and have a real cabine room. Like any other place,it only takes 1 girl to make the visit worthwhile. I wonder about their "5 floors" -- if that is like 4x4 or similar to the spiral stairwell of death over at Buenos Aires 85. Inquiring mongers would like to know.

If it's like the rest of the joints along Quitanda, it's a walk-up with a bad sound system blasting bad dance music at maximum decibles. I've never seen anything at that price level in Rio that would be worth going to over a good apartment.

R$150/2 girls/1 hour.
Good deal, but I prefer getting 2 Karlas/Scortshow girls for 2 hours for R$240.
