Just figured I'd add a little information I learned back in 1999. In case any fellow monger is ever stuck in a beach town/city of Manzanillo in the small state of Colima (South of Jalisco). You may want to ask the taxi driver to take you to a massage parlor called MassageMan, they know where it is so if they act like they don't repeat yourself. Its best if you pronounce the name as if it was Spanish (don't ask). Yes I know, sounds stupid, but its the best value you will probably get in that town. The place looks pretty bad but I've been there twice and I've had no problems. Whatever bullshit menu they show you just pick the cheapest, then once you're in the room you can talk to the girl about prices. I have gotten out of there with suck and fuck with a condom for about $50. I think it was $20 for the massage then $30 for the girl. Girls average about 5's I would say. Had some luck and the girl wanted to be my free tour guide the rest of the trip, so I took her up on her offer. Got laid repeatly that week for the price of her meals and some cab fare but I still figure it was a good deal. As I said, good deal but your mileage may vary.

Now in case money isn't that big of a deal for you there are some strip clubs there which of course offer sex. These places are EASY to identify, just drive down the strip and you can pick them out clear as day. I saw at least 2 in the city and then another heading out of town.

Here's the catch, I went into this closet-like box with one of the finest mexican women, if not the finest, I may have ever laid eyes on. Could have been a model or a top notch striper, and great body so I'll give her a 9.5 or a 10. Paid like $40 for a lap dance ($20 for the closet, $20 for the dance). It was a waste of money. I asked her about something more, which I can't imagine would have been comfortable in there, and she said $160. After I looked at her as if she was crazy she said $120 was the lowest she could do, and said something about the club's take. I had to decline.

Good points: Best mexican girls I have seen. Every girl in there was top-of-the-line, goddesses almost and also TALL which I thought was a bit rare. Incredible bodies. The one I spoke with was taller than me and I'm about 5'11. Still tall for a woman.

Bad Points: Too expensive for mongers on a budget like myself, and that closet just signaled bad session.

That's about it. The high prices can be explained by the fact that the city is a tourist trap for "snow birds" who come down there from Canada and such. If you have any questions you can e-mail me. Hope this info can be of service so I can begin to pay back my debt to this board.

I just got back from Manzanillo yesterday with my chica friend, and I can tell you that there ARE clubs in Manzanillo similar to the Zona in PV. If you are ever there, ask a cab driver to take you to La Fuente Bar. It's a small zona, with only 2 clubs open this past weekend, but another club, Camerino Sophia is opening next week. La Fuente is by far the best, with at least 40-50 chicas their Saturday night. The place was packed, and there were a number of pretty fine diamonds among the ordinary chicas.

Just got back from Manzanillo, with a buddy. Read about "Disneyland" above, and no one knew what I was talkikng about. Maybe my taxi drivers just didn't know about it or ??? Anyway, we found our way to MIAMI BEACH, the nicest strip club near the hotel zone. The girls, ranging from solid 6-7 all the way up to a couple 11-12's. There was a few "super models" dancing there. Not much english spoken by the girls but you can get your point across. If you go there, look for JULIA a mexican girl who looks like she might have a little asian twist to her. SMOKING HOT!!! Curves for days and sex appeal like no other. Lap dances run 20 and 30 bucks for 7 to 12 minutes. No a great deal, but with the right girl, could be worth it. When talking with the male servers / bouncers, they told us that most all the girls will have sex with you in the "back room" house fee 50.00 then each girls has there set price ranging from 100-200 US. Again not cheap, but if you want a solid 10 for a girl and afford it? The time frame is about 30-45 minutes with the girls. A couple of girls approached us about going back to our hotel, the first price they said was 250.00 US, no thanks. After not deciding to spend a fortune there and a case of blue balls, we asked the taxi driver for a local massage parlor, where you can get a happy ending. 3 are located near the hotel zone all with 2 blocks of each other. Which makes it easy to search for a girl of your liking. It was 4am and I believe the hotter girls had gone home for the night. These parlors are located across from the front gate of the Barcelo Karmina Palace. For 50.00, we got an ok 30 min massage and a happy ending. One final note, the taxi drivers did know about the LA FUENTAS bar, it's much cheaper than the MIAMI club, but they had told us that is becoming very dangerous, do to the local fisherman scene that hangs out in there. If your tough and can speak enough spanish to talk your way out of a corner, maybe give it a try. Let me know. A good local scene for dancing is a few blocks from the Miami Beach club, is CLUB FELIZ and right next to that is CLUB NATUILUS. NATUILUS is a Cancun style 2 level nightclub, FELIZ is a smaller local nightclub. All places mentioned above we felt very safe and all hours of the night. Good Luck in Manzinillo. Cruise ship was in port from 7 AM to 6 PM.

This town is a really ugly container shipping port and the downtown area is very much run down. I was not approached by a single tout and did not find any sign of monger activity in the area that I visited.

Whatever Dono1971 is talking about is nowhere near the parts of town that I saw.
