There is a new bar named El Paso on the east side of Tecate on the free road. It's a basic strip club and very Mexican. My friend just started dancing there, had 5~6 attractive girls, no hookers. The clientele are guys that work in the brewery and rancheros. If you go you'd better speak spanish and have pesos. There is no place to change money and no one speaks english.

Yes. Ficheras and dancing are the rule here. One ranchero wanted a bit too much contact for his tip. The security less than politely persuaded him (and his friends) to leave.

Gosh has it been 10 or 20 years.... One time in Tecate I walked around (about noon) looking for street girls. I did notice one 30-some woman of "average" looks in front of the bus station who smiled back at me. But I was afraid to approach her as she seemed normal and it was "too public". (no whore's winks or nothing.) But, a good bit later she was still there. So my question is; are there any SGs in Tecate ? in the daytime ? I'd just like a little change - without paying more than 10-20 dollars, of course.

When you come across at the Tecate border crossing keep going straight till you get to the main drag through the downtown area (maybe 1/4 mile at the most). Just to your left will be a park. I've heard (never seen for myself) that there are some available ladies that work the park.

You can park in Tecate USA and walk into the down town area. The hooker bars are about 2-3 miles out, however. Don't know about dance clubs - there are some bars in the central area.

is on the side of the road and is very hard to see the sine.

The hooker bars there are whorendous. On the road to Ensenada just past a pedestrian bridge, there are too bars: Acapulco and Bar La Cuesta. Very nasty looking ladies there. One time there was a nice one, but she wanted $100.00 US for a session. On the free road to Tijauna there are a few others, they usually say "Bar Turistico", whatever the hell that is supposed to mean. Most of the locals go to Tijuana for their puta action.

The is also "Bar Chihuahua".

I found myself in Tecate this weekend and bareback is alive and well there as long it concerns riding horses. I can barely walk, those stirrup thingies are really cool especially when the horse decides to run. But i will say this, if you can ride a whore you can ride a horse.
The number one reponse by taxi drivers as to my destination was 'have you ever been to tijuana". As far as Tecate, that statement is very true. I went to Acapulco, you can find a 'diamond in the rough' there, but the 'diamonds' are well occupied. I did land one, however, I was with a pure stick in the mud and cheap as hell bastard that could not close a deal with his girl. It is nice when mongering to go solo on your adventure and never share a room. In mongering or business or whatever.
In addition, I also went to 'El Patio' on a Saturday night. Only two girls in the bar, no patrons, the two girls were very good looking. Very small bar. And we also went to 'La Jarocha' or something like that, many girls but not too many good looking ones. If I would walk into this bar again, I would hope I would walk in with someone who was a local.
One last tip, if you go to Acapulco, always walk into the second door and not the first one, the first door is the transvestite bar, the second door is the one with the women.
Most of the cab drivers will tell you which is which, one difference of Tecate from Tijuana is that the cab drivers and policia are really cool, they are there to help you more than hurt you. A very cordial kind of town. It gets very cold at night right now. Good luck.

I don't think I have been to Rickys, I went to one bar that may have been Rickys but it was nothing to speak of. Ask you friend about the bar/restaurant next to Caliente sportsbook, that place has had some pretty nice looking girls in there. Also, they have opened a bar on top of El Meson restaurant, but I haven't checked it out. One hotel I stay in is Hotel El Dorado, its on the main drag and is about $60 a night. Not the best, not the worst. On the old road to Mexicali, there is a KOA campground, it actually looks pretty good, they have cabins, horses, a lodge. Its around 15 minutes outside of the town and I am not too sure what the room rates were. There is also a high end spa going towards Tijuana and I have no idea what their rates are.

There is a direct road to Tecate, 194 or 94, not sure, but it comes out from around La Mesa. Anyway, it is a real nice drive on the American side. I notice alot of bikers like that road. I am not a big fan of two lane highways but it is scenic. Around Dulzura, there is a restaurant where on Sundays alot of vintage cars meet at. My question is has anyone on the board ever ate at that restaurant? I have always wanted to stop in there and try it out, but haven't done it.

I've never been to Tecate, I need as much feedback as possible of location of street gals and bar hookers and prices also parking on the US side and entering, best time to go, money exchange etc. I would appreciate feedback ASAP. THANK YOU - PS are there any decent motels nearby on the US side ?

I don't think there is really a place to park on US side and walk in. Entering Tecate from US side is a long drive on a 2 way road.

You can drive in and go to the El Dorado and get a room for about $50.

There is no SG action action some TV on the road where Acapulco is. The bars that I know that have girls are Acapulco and La Tropa and another one just past Acapulco.

I don't recall there being any motels period on the U.S. side but it's been a couple of years since I was there.

A little bit of update on Tecate. First of all, most of the entertainment is Acapulco Bar, a ficha bar with negotiable outcalls. Alot of the girls are from Tijuana. There are two Bar Turistico called Mango's and another one next to it. The talent is ok at both. Those bars are on the road out toward Mexicali. Someone else here wrote about Bar Chihuahua. Not great at all, but every once in a while, a few girls will show up from Ensenada that are pretty good. Weekends only. And the arrangements there are on site. One of the better bets is Candiles, its south of the calle primera around 8 blocks or so from the centro. Quite a few girls there on most days of the week. That is a good place to set up for after hour entertainment. Offer $50 or $60, don't take them up on the bar fine stuff. If they want to go with you, they will get around that on their own. Just remember, Tecate is a small town, so your options are limited as opposed to 30 minutes away in Tijuana. But with the right strategy, Tecate can be really good. Bar Diana is right next to the park, its mostly a drinking bar for locals, but there are possibilities there. Also there is an italian restaurant/bar next to the caliente sportsbook. It can happen there too.

Acapulco Bar is directly south from the border crossing with the USA. Just take that road for a few minutes and it is on the left hand side. One other big point I left out about Acapulco Bar, there are two entrances, the front entrance is a transvestite Bar. Go through the second bar entrance, thats where the real girls are.

What about the precise location of Candiles which you indicate is good throughout the week? You say 8 blocks south of Primera. But on what street south of Primera? Can I assume that you mean on the main north/south road that would lead to the highway through the mountains to Ensenada?

I will probably be passing through Tecate in about 10-12 days, midweek. Any hotels you can recommend (especially chica friendly hotels)?

I explained Candiles directions incorrectly. It is one block of south of calle primera (the main street) and around 8 blocks west of the park in the center of town. It is the road that runs along the north side of the Tecate beer factory. It is right next to a pool hall which you can find some free lance action in also. Just ask a taxi driver if you get lost. All of these places are within 5 or 10 minutes of each other.

As far as hotels, I prefer Hotel El Dorado, its about $60 a night, kind of like a motel 6. No problems there. Its on the main street. Theres a few others which I couldn't tell you if they are ok, but I would imagine taking a girl up would be no problem. Most of them are motel setups anyway so its not like you have to walk through a lobby.

I have been to Bar Diana next to the park which is the only location I've observed that holds any promise. However, when I entered it was nothing but hard drinking locals with no chicas. It was also a Sunday afternoon on a 110 degree summer day, so I wasn't expecting anything different.
