Anyone ever been to any of these small border towns? ... Sonoita ... all small towns, just wondering if they have contain any action?

I alway pass through sonoita on the way to Rocky Point but never stop. That Angels Disco looks like it has potential at night. Anyone?

yeah, i thought about that too...but never stopped...i talked to a taxi driver one time and he said there is a whorehouse close by, near the border, and was giving me directions, but it was confusing...there should be some action around the border, but i never really thought about it..

I used to live in lukevill and go over to sonoita fairly regularly. This was three years ago and at that time there were two bordellos. The typical bar with rooms in the back. They were a bit hard to find but just get a cab and they will take you there. One was located pretty close to the disco (not a whorehouse...but not a bad place to meet mexican ladies. Need good spanish skills though) and the other was located on the south side of town. The one close to the disco was the best back then.. Hope this helps

There has been a whorehouse in Sonoita for years and years. Its' name is Club Mocambo. Don't take the road to R.P., instead take the turnoff to Mexicali. Approximately (1) mile down the road and opposite a tire repair center. It is set back off the road quite a bit on the right side, basically on top of a hill. Not real hard to find, just drive slow. More pricey than what I have just read about the Crystal Palace in R.P. though. You do have to approach the girls or they will just do their own thing. Sometimes have run across some pretty nice lookers. Have usually paid $100 to the girl and $20 for the room.

Has anyone been to Sonoita recently. It's my closest trip to Mexico and I wonder if anyone can suggest where are the best places to go.

My old girlfriend was from sonoita -she told me last year that the whorehouse was a red trailer on the road to rocky point in town on the northside of the road in a red trailer. I have no other info

Anyone checked out Mocambo recently? It was definitely there last time I checked.
