I had a good time as usual in Nuevo Laredo last weekend. I met Elsa at Papaguyos and spent the night with her. As much as I like TJ, the atmosphere in BT is just so much more relaxed. Because NL is not bordered by a large metropolitan area, it gets a lot less pressure and the cantina atmosphere is hard to beat. Just wish there was something to do during the day other than hang out at the pool. TJ remains my number one place due to ease of access, So. California outdoor activity, number of pretty women, and my good friends on Coahulia.

If you mean non-sex. There are lots of good restaurants.... Several plazas to people watch. There's more than one multi-cinema, and a shopping mall. There's a stadium, but I'm not sure where you'd check to see what sports or other activities are there.

Well Satyr, I compare most everything to the San Diego area. There are alpine trails, gorgeous beaches, and fantastic mountain areas all within a 90 minute drive or so of TJ.

I'm not one much for street girls and I wasn't that interested in what I saw in the downtown NL bars. I'm basically an outdoor activity guy during the day and NL, although friendly enough, didn't seem to have much to offer.

BTW, I used your map to check out the 4 main hooker bars in the downtown area on a Sunday afternoon. Thanks a lot for drawing that. It was a big help, even though the game plan didn't pan out.

Sorry to hear you got sick. It would have been fun showing you around BT. Basically this is a great time of year to go, as the weather is really nice. My understanding is the Xmas break is a poor time to go as many of the girls go home.

I checked out the downtown bars on a Sunday afternoon. I will try and find the link to Satyr's map to include as it is excellent. Would have been lost without it. I tried these bars between 2:30 and 4 on a Sunday. Picking were very lean, actually gorda would be a better palabra.

El Ray - I sat across the street in the park and practicied my Spanish with some guy for about 30 minutes. Saw several guys go in and come out again fairly quickly. Two guys who looked like they should have gone home 3 days ago, went in and stayed. One chica came out with a customer. I'd put her at 5.5 tops. I passed.

La Montera - I went in. There were about 3 or 4 chicas and they were all talking to guys. The chicas were 6s tops. About a dozen other loose guys hanging around, I left.

Los Jerochos - closed

New Horeshoe - Nicest looking of the bars. About 100 feet around the corner on Ocampa from Los Jerochos. Porno movies on the TV. 3 or 4 gordas. I had no interest.

I had had a very nice over-nighter with a Papguyo's girl the night before and was feeling picky. I didn't see anything in the area that came close to getting my interest.

I went to a restaurant, bar, sports book called The Cadillac Bar. Really classy place. Great spot to have a cool one, watch a game (bet if you want), and get out of the NL sun. Decent menu and food. Prices were a litle high, almost San Diego level. It's a block to the right of Gurerra (sp?) on Victoria walking away from the border.

The 4 downtown hooker bars are very close to each other. I have read several warnings on banditos in this area late at night, although Los Jerochos is very close to the main drag (Gurerra).

For night time action though, BT is hard to beat. I've been to Papaguyos 4 times now and been impressed with the hospitality of all the ladies I met. Ended up doing two over-nighters with girls I had just met. I almost never do that in TJ. BT is just a friendlier atmosphere and BT is very safe. Watch out for the TVs after Marabu, I hear they are a pain. You just don't want to bother going past Marabu.

The Cadillac Bar is famous, and it even invented one of the classic drinks. On the same street (victoria) in the west direction is a fancy garden style restaurant. And across from it, in the parking lot structure, is an expensive bar, which may also be a pick up spot.

Obviously, nothing compares with the diversity of entertainment in SoCal. But.... I'm no longer interested in outdoor sports much...

Was zat Papa Gs this Saturday and met three good girls last night, Monica-MTY, Elizabeth-ACA, and a girl from Mazatlan. I enjoy each of them, all were CBJ, doggie style, and were good. NP is nuevo pesos. About 7 or 8 years ago when it was over 1000 pesos per dollar U.S. they changed the currency and started calling it new pesos. At that point 1 NP = 1000 old pesos. Now the exchange rate is close to 10 NP per dollar. So 100 NP = $10 U.S.

I am going down soon. What hotels on the Mexico side do any of you reccomend? What are the rates? Is there a "bar fee" associated with taking a girl home for the night?

I was there, alone, in 1998 and only paid $27. It was very worn, and had very hard bed/pillows; but it had been a pretty neat place at one time, great old art-deco styling.

Hm, I can't find the name of the third place I stayed but it wasn't quite up to the first two; it was located on the south side of the same park.

Anyway, Meson del Rey seems to me a good choice if you're shooting for about $50 for da bot' o' yez. There are some motels somewhat outside the Centro area for a bit more, like Hacienda Motor hotel, and La Fuente; good, I guess, if you have a car. (Apparently there's a place to park for Meson Del Rey but I haven't seen it).

As for bar fees. I bet it's very variable. The one time I did an overnight was from Martha's Club (Donkey Place) and it cost me $35, as a recall. Way steep. I was told it would be about that, too, at Tamyko, but I didn't spring for it (she wanted $200 for herself and I felt that was too much).

Just a quick report--Was in BT Thursday evening, 4/12. It was perhaps a tad optimistic to go on the eve of Good Friday, and lo, the "Big Three" were all closed. There was still moderate SG action and for some reason, the second-tier clubs were open--Martha's, 1-2-3, the place next to Martha's, Shamrock, etc. I suspect the bar was closed at these places although I got a coke at Martha's.

I am back from 2 days at Boystown. myself and my partner in crime left to Boystown on saturday night. the place was packed with what i could tell were spring breakers, the 1st place we hit was Tamykos. like I have read here before, the women were way too agressive. a woman by the name of Gabby, 5"6" light brown eyes,long blondish hair, started talking to me, and an older woman grabbed my friend, we all sat in the patio, and my friend was not interested at all in this woman, but she wouldnt take no for an answer. it was quite funny. me and my girl had already set a price of 60 bucks. she started with a bj, she was very good at that, then we ended with her on top. we were in bed for a little while, and she told me about Boystown closing at 2am. her english was very good. so i go back to my friend, and he had told me that the old woman hit him!! It didn't start off like I'd hoped. I booked a ticket on Expedia and gave them my credit card #, but when I checked with American the day before the flight they didn't have a reservation for me. I called Expedia and it seems I booked it, but didn't actually purchase it, but for only $580 I could now have a ticket. The only answer was rent a car. So I drove down and got a room at one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at, La Posada in Laredo, TX. $109 with a balcony overlooking the Rio Grande. Things were looking up. At about 9:30 pm Friday I drove across the border and went straight to Papagayo's. It was pretty busy and there were some beautiful women. I was kinda hoping to see 1 girl I know from TJ named Mayte. She used to work at Adelita's and Chicago Club and her sister, Yulma who works at AB told me she'd be there. I got hit on by a lady after about 10 minutes and she was pretty nice. I asked her about Mayte and she said she knew her but hadn't seen her tonight. After a drink I agree to go to the room with her. She goes off to the bathroom to get her things when I see coming toward me a chica with a big smile on her face...it's my friend and we were really happy to see each other. She says she doesn't feel like working anymore and will head home after we eat. I told her what a wonderful surprise it turned out to be for me the way we were together. I could tell she was pleased about the way things turned out. We talked for a few more minutes after eating and I told her I wanted her again. She somehow didn't seem surprised by this. So we went back over to the hotel and she talked to the towel lady and she gave her the key to her own room. We go in there and it was clearly where someone lived, much nicer than the crummy rooms down the hall. It started off with me giving her a message for about 20 minute, she clearly loved it, telling me which areas to concentrate on. After which we once again made love. It was even better than the first time. Now I'm hooked. Unfortunately I live about 1500 miles away. I have actually dreamed about her many times since returning home and God only knows when I'll ever get a chance to go back to NL. If you are standing in the street looking at Tamyko's, 123 is I believe the next place over to the left. So it is on the same side of the street as Tamyko's, but a bit closer to the entrance to Boystown. I don't recall seeing anything calling it "The New Club" There are always a bunch of guys out front trying to talk you into going in the place.

I have always wanted to visit NL and check out Boystown. But to my suprise NL came to me at AB, I met to chicas that work at Papagayos. Fernanda and Linda, both are very nice and very accomodating. They should be back in NL by now.

I plan a trip down to BT 6/21 - 6/22 . I have not been there is a year. Generally I feel safe as a new born in BT. Nothing like TJ where you can feel the danger if your in the wrong place. This US State Department warning http://travel.state.gov/mexico.html) has me concerned.

I've been to Papaguayo's numerous times and have a question: someone on the TSM board mentioned that there is a yearly party with all the girls at Papaguayo's. He was unsure of this year's date but thought it was September 12th (a Wednesday). Does anyone have any information on the "yearly" party at Papa G's? TIA.

There are parties intermittently at Pgo and they tend to occur on Tuesday evenings. It gets posted near the doorway. If I recall correctly, the last one was some time around Semana Santa. Was their last Tuesday and didn't notice any posting. If I see something, I'll put a notice here. Never been to one of those parties but they're supposed to be fun.

It could be the 16th since its Mexican Independence Day but that's just a guess.

What do y'all give the parking guys at Papagayo? I drove for the first time and gave 'em $2 on arrival. But I just noticed a post on W.S.G. where a guys sez he gave 'em $5. I just wanna give 'em whatever is decent and effective.

Papagayo's was extremely disappointing last night. Old and used up looking are the words to describe 80% of the mujeres on duty, and sitting alone nursing a drink I was a magnet for the bottom tier that depend on their aggressive sales pitches to overwhelm the people who are too shy to get laid in a whorehouse. Every 90 seconds a new 40+ year old hag would come over, plop her ass down next to me, blow smoke in my face and ask me if I wanted her 'company'. I must have said 'NO', and 'because, NO' at least a dozen times an hour. I waited that hour to try desperately to find the inspiration that led me to leave Monterrey during primetime to come to this supposed mecca of mongering in NE Mexico, but there was just nothing worth it on this night. Marcia Brady got a boob job and appeared as psycho as ever. The stars and stripes bikini chick was still there and still looking like she had melted down barbie doll rubber inserted in the key parts of her body. She asks $100? I'd rather pay a TV.

Of the 30+ chicks working last night at Papagayos, I'd estimate that only 6-7 would actually be doable, and as most of you know, I am not looking for Playboy quality by any means. Overwhelmingly, they were old, and they were nasty looking. The young girls worked the streets. Hmmm, and at at least 1/5 the price, can you guess where I spent my mongering dollars?

Best thing about Papagayos is the cheap chica drinks if you find someone you'd like to drink with. But beware, you may have to look hard.

Another bizarre thing about this place is that there are no dancers, no DJ, and the music is supplied by a jukebox with a weird mix of music. You'll hear Thalia followed by George Strait followed by Gene Vincent depending on which segment of the population gains control at any given time.

And then there are the drunken, obnoxious Texans that would generally be considered the ultimate ugly Americans if Boystown hadn't been built as a shrine to them. Watching gringos in shitkicker clothes hooting at each other while drinking Miller Lite in a Mexican whorehouse makes me want to stay far, far away from the Texas border!

Ive justed moved out to texas, from florida, a (08-24-2002)few weeks back..I have leaved here before but, I have never been to mexico or anything past houston... That was untill my Father & Brother told me that they had been going down to Neuavo Laredo(sp). My father for the past 10 years (off and on) and my brother the past 7yrs (off and on)...When i officly moved down here and started my new job, got settled in. The weekend came, and my brother asked me if i wanted to head down there. I did not decline. When we arrived at NL, i was kinda nervous thinking the police would stop me for something ...but when we crossed over to the mexico side we had 3-5 cab drivers asking if we need a cab " TAXI" ... my bro replied "Boys Town"... So we got in and, my bro was giving me pointers on what to say and do... I have never been to a "boys town".. When we pulled in the cab driver said "PAPA GUYOAS" .. as we pulled in, it apperaed to be the main place of this little city.. There was some type of secrutiy guard opening the doors for us from the cab to the front entarce. As i walked in i was amazed at all these latin women walking around, half naked.. A little fellow greeted us at the door and, asked how many, 3 .. We got a table on the other side of the club by the back door where everyone, comes and goes to the rooms. Im not a drinker so I ordered a coke and they had cervesa, We had the beverages in about 30 seconds. Talk about service.. After about an hour I had roughly 5-6 girls come over and, ask if I would like company, Im a picky person so being there for the first time i wanted a really nice one female. Well after declining all these girl.. (they werent angry that I dint want company they politley said maybe later and, left) my brother had a girl of his choice and my dad was already doing his thing. According to signs plastered around the bar, Papagayos is having a 'Carnival' party March 4. No details are given on the flyers.

Stopped by Papas on 3/1. Met Kenya the queen of the Carnival. She charged $100 which included room. Her room was being used and instead used one of the other girls. These are the best rooms. Kosher is proud to provide some of the latest info on his favorite club in NL. Papagayos is the largest club here. usually 20-30 girls a night are working, sometimes more. Most of the girls are a 4-9 on a scale of 1-10. The 4's will ask for 40-60 and the 8-9's will ask for 70-100. All prices are negotiable, figure to pay 10-20 bucks off asking. On top of the girls fee, there is a room fee of 13 ( just raised from 11) plus 2 for the towel. So all girls will be 15 more than the price you set. Most of the time Kosher pays the girl 60. Last time I visited was about a month ago. I have been disappointed the last several visits and this was no different. I travel to Laredo on business from Houston. The girls are a bit cheaper $60 - $80 for the whole enchilada vs $200 in Houston but the tawdryness and generally uninspiring service leaves a linguring "used" feeling...
