Girls, barfines, drinks, lady drinks, etc. How does Nogales shape up to TJ? Nogales seems more slow-paced than TJ, but if the damn "30-minute" rule pervades in both, then it is a harder decision. Rates are a big factor for me, since my visits will all be one day or less, and I plan on sampling many fruits each trip.

I think it is more expensive in Nogales than TJ. Probably b/c TJ has many more options, higher volume, and a lot more women. This is also true for the contrast between boystown and TJ. TJ with the high demand, has high supply. Just go on a week day and you can get great deals in TJ with beautiful women.

"30 minute rule..." - I WISH! Dude, in Nogales you gotta pay $20 to rent a "closet" w/o a bed for about 6 minutes, then you got to pay the chica $40-60 to fuck her for 6 minutes. All-nighters or 1-2 hour hotel sessions are readily available, and the lap dance scene is probably as good as anywhere in North America. So unless you don't mind paying $20+$50 to fuck for 6 minutes, go to Nogales for glorious lapdances or hotel (your hotel) action.

One good thing about Nogales is that it's relatively safe and laid back. I have NEVER been ripped off by a bartender there (NEVER). You gotta watch the girls sometimes, but just the usual shit about trying to give you LESS than what you bargained for. But most chicas are fair and honest. Most locals in Nogales are nice and I always feel safe.

Nogales is great if you can't go to TJ. If I had a choice, it would be a no-brainer - go to TJ.

Chica Drink - $10 (no need to buy them, really)
Lap Dance - $7-$9
VIP Dance (basically, renting the "closet" for 6 minutes) - $20-$22 - then you gotta pay chicas for extras

Bar Fine (to leave w/ chica early) - $50-$100
Hotel date w/ chica - $100/hour (YMMV)
Hotel date w/ chica (toda la noche) - $150+ (YMMV)

Here at least you get a bed and a room and don't have to put up with all that noise like you do at the border. The girls in La Conga vary in quality, but generally are nowhere near as nice as the ones at Adelitas in TJ.

I have been to all clubs and to La Conga and I agree with all posts with respect to prices. Since I have had some extra time down in Nogales lately, I have been quite successful cruising the streets in the afternoons and picking up SG's. They can obviously be found in close proximity to the clubs but also along Calle Obregon. With a limited amount of Spanish and $, you can locate diamonds in the rough if you are after the pseudo GF experience. Like all of them, if you treat them right, you can always return for more.
