After driving 3.5 hours (from Austin) I finally arrived at Nuevo Laredo boystown(BT) on Oct 1, at 9:00pm. I Walked around and decided to go into Tabu. Being a Wednesday there weren't a lot of people, but there were a few girls. I asked Serenia if she wanted a drink, and she said yes (what a surprise!)We talked for about 40 min before we decided to go to the room. She is very pleasant to talk to, and she is not from Monterrey, which is rare for a BT girl. This girl ranks a 7-8, maybe even higher. You should see her as she dances to the tune of Juanes' "Luna". She has a nice tight body and very firm ass. I know this because I actually touched it. She also has a nice pair of natural breasts. Man was she a good lay!! She asked for $60, but came down to $40, plus a tip of $3 I had to pay the room lady. She is a very passionate girl (Serenia, not the room lady), and I am sure most of you agree that makes the experience more pleasurable. There is nothing worse to me than a girl who is cold in bed, even if you are paying her. In fact, I dare to say that because you are paying, you should expect a higher level of performance than if you pick a girl from somewhere else (referred to by some as a civilian.) I mean, that makes perfect sense to me, but maybe I am just an idealist. But seriuosly, this girl is great. I will definitely see her next time I go to BT. After that, I came back to Austin and found it just like I left it. Now, I am planning my next visit to BT and can't wait; that place is so addictive!

I recently returned from Nuevo Laredo. I must say friends this last visit has convinced me once and for all to relocate to Laredo. I have had this under consideration for about 4 years. Before you read further I will apologize for the length these are just some things I would want to know. Anyway, as I am sure you know there are 2 nice hotels that are right on the border. The La Plata, and the Hotel Rio Grande (formerly Howard Johnsons.) I have stayed at both. Which one you like would be a personal thing. I like the Rio Grande Plaza, it is also $20-$40 cheeper than La Plata. Although La Plata is considered "more luxurious" I don't think so, but to each his own.

Ok from either Hotel you can a) get shuttle service to international Bridge 2 or b) walk it from either local in about 10 mins. Once you are across you will be most likely accosted by young men offering to take you to the "Doctor" or "girls" or other such things. OK, well first unless you are looking for some type of Narcotic, or "Downer" I would skip it. There are Pharmacies located within 100 yards of the border and they will sell you Viagra (I assume that is what you want.) or other medical type drugs. Viagra is $13.43 for one pill. Just a side note about Doc's in Nuevo Laredo. I am not a real big pill person; however, I have tried it. I will say I found it to be very expensive for the script. Not only that you are given the very lowest of dosage avail (I guess to keep stupid Americans from ODing.) You pay the Doctor he exits the room you are in and sends a runner to get what you want. You are then given the pills and the script. You are expected to compensate the guide who brought you here ($5-$10.) Again, prices are what I would consider on the high end. Ok, first can you bring the drugs back into the good ole US of A. The answer ? REALLY, I do not know. Acording to Mexican Docs, guides, yes, you can. You can bring back a 3 months prescription. I don't know if I trust that as I am ALWAYS asked on the US side if I bought drugs in Mexico. I always say no and have never been searched, Does any one have a definitive answer? Second, I wanted to try Oxy-Cotin while in Mexico. Just as a fun thing. I was told point blank by the DOC NO WAY. He said Oxy was now illegal in Mexico. Again, I would like to know if that is true.

Ok, Now for while your all here the girls. When approched by a street hustler I would say no thank you. That leaves you with 3 options to Boys town. 1) Drive to Boys Town yourself. I would not reccomend this. First, driving is not the smartest thing to do. Unless you have been there before, you will not find it. Second, if you are the go getter type of guy I will say this point blank. Have Mexican Auto insurance. If you are in an accident in Mexico, be advised it is a CRIMINAL matter not a civil one. So unless you are local and familiar I would not. Option 2) Taxi cab. Most of these are private cars for hire although you do see the familiar yellow cab. They all charge the same. It's $10 one way. Don't try to negotiate. It's $10. One option is to wait around for a fellow traveler and split it. I have done this and wound up making a few pals. 3) This is my favorite - The Donkey Carts. Now this is more expensive than a cab. ($15-$20) and takes about an hour to get there. It is however a really fun time. The Drivers are always friendly and a wealth of knowledge. If you are a newbie, they will hang around a little while with you when you get to boys Town and guide you a bit. They will also stop on the way for Cubans (the real ones, many shops sale fakes.) and Beer. It's just a fun way to go. Also they are "in the know" about anything else you might want to do or find in Laredo.

Ok, so now you are at Boys town. First, it is a walled in complex (High walls) there is one way in, one way out. You will pass a Police station. That's right friends a police station. Ok, freaked me out the first time. I *Think* the cops are there mainly for your protection. That is not to say you will be screwed with if you act stupid. acting stupid can consist of a)being to drunk. b)Causing attention to yourself, in a negative way (like pissing off a mexican national.) c) being in the wrong area of Boys town (I'll explain.)

Ok When you get to boys town you will likely be dropped out a papagayos. This is THE PLACE. it is a very large bar that would be considered very much like a medium scale American bar. Feel free to stay there or not. It's up to you.

Boys Town is layed out in a four street pattern. From right to left - Street 1. There are some older run down bars on this street it is really pretty dead nothing goes on here. Feel free to explore but there is not much here. Ok Street 2- this is the main street. Papagyos is here. Tamykos, Maribu etc.... This is where the "Bar Girls" are. Street 3- this is mainly filled with street girls. Street 4- Ok, if you are on this or the street that runs to the back you will most likely be screwd with by the cops. The streets here are filled with street girls, of a less desirable kind and there are Transvestite bars here. The "girls" who work these bars go from very convinving to not at all. TVs are really not my deal, but if they are, here is where they are. Like I said the cops will take a more active intereast in you if you are here. Not, to say you WILL get screwed with just more likely.

Ok first, the Street girls. These girls work in little rooms located around the complex. These girls go from young to really old. From absolute horror to real diamonds in the rough. I think this is the first stop and last stop of alot of girls. The Women on the streets are pretty conservative. Most just want to have missionary vaginal sex with nothing else. $20. is the standard price. If you are so inclined you can dicker. If you find the right girl you *can* negotiate extras. And like I said, you will find some real finds here. All girls use condoms (like all girls in the Zona they are tested weekly.) MY main drawback is she does business out of her room (obviously.) The girl lives in this room some are neat some are dirty, all are hot and small. Plus they all have shrines of the Holy Mother looking at you. One final note of caution here, while it has never happened to me, it has happened to several people I have been with - these girls can have sticky fingers. They will steal your wallet. Like I said never personally, but watch yourself.

ok, the Bars. I will touch Maribu first. Why? Because it is my favorite. This bar does NOT have the best women they range from 4-7 (with the occasional stunner.) They are a little cheaper than other bars in the $40-70 range. The Great thing about this bar is the atmosphere. This place is like Vegas in the 60's motif. Just Awesome, you expect the brat pack to walk in. There is also a nice dance floor, and the girls will dance, if you so desire.

Tamykos is next. This looks like a Japanese Pagoda or something from the outside. The girls there again are 4-7 and $40-$80. This covers half and half. Alot of girls here I get the impression are on their way down. It's an ok place, but I generally do not go. There is better to be had elsewhere, but still try it out once, you may enjoy it.

And finally Papagyos. OK guys, this is the creme de la creme. The girls here are from 4-10. I have met several girls here who are litteraly drop dead gorgeous. One girl last trip looked like a living Barbie Doll. Prices here are a standard $80. and you will not get a novina attitude. ALOT of girls here have a diva attitude. But, if trophy girls are your deal this is the place.

There are several smaller bars scattered about. My advice? Well, skip 'em unless you want to try something new. The girls there are one step above street girls and want higher prices. On the other hand if you are a regular, they may offer something a little different.

Ok just some general notes. Don't worry about fitting in here. All types come here from truck drivers, frat boys, cowboys etc. It is mostly Anglo crowd, and some girls will hesitate to go with African-Americans. Do not hesitate to eat from street vendors. The food is cheap and good.

When you get back to the border you will be dropped off right at the bridge. Go on back across, customs will ask you their questions, but generaly they know where you have been and don't give you shit. Also, if some guy approaches you on the Mexican side saying he has been robbed or the Police have his buddies but let him go. Don't believe it. It's a scam. I have never been in serious trouble down there (arrested) and my advice is avoid it. Please remeber you are in a foreign country. Your country will only give you nominal help if you are in trouble (there is a US Consulate in Nuevo Laredo) and Mexico opperates on the Napolionc Law code which means you are guilty until proven innocent.

Ok, well hope you got something from this. One final thought. Remember to bring 75 cents in Quarters, almost screwed me up. it's 50 cents to cross from the US to Mexico and 25 cents to come back. Let me know if I can help more!

You should go ahead and post this as a trip report, so everyone can reference it.

The two best clubs in Nuevo Laredo are Papa Gayos and Tamiko. Papa Gayos is the first club you see when entering Boystown, Its also the place most of the cab drivers will recommend because they get a tip for bringing in customers. Its usually pretty dead if you get there before 9pm, but is in full swing by 10. Friday nights seem to have the best selection of chicas but Saturday nights are almost as good. Probably 40-60 chicas. If you don't want to be pestered to buy drinks, avoid sitting at a table and just walk up to the bar. I usually will hang out there until I find a chica I like, otherwise I usually end up buying a drink for one I'm not interested in, that sat down with me. A trip to the room runs between 40-80 plus 10 for the room and a buck for the towel girl. The other club in BoysTown you should check out is Tamiko, its about half a block up from Papa Gayos on the left side (turn right as you leave Papa Gayos) The chica selection is not as good as at Papa Gayos, but there are some good ones. A trip to the room is slightly cheaper than Papa Gayos. I'd recommend Morena, she's my favorite there.

I'm sorry, Tamyko's is overrun with 40+ year old old hags/trolls. You would be MUCH better off paying 10-20 bucks more at a place like 1-2-3 (2 doors down), unless you're not picky about looks.

Actually, Papagayos is also overrun with the old/uglies too, but with 40+ chicks to pick from, you can usually find a winner.

The only true bargain in NL is the street (AKA 'room') girls, who are young, naturally pretty, and CAN have good attitudes before they become hardened pros. Most other chicks are cruising the margins re: attractiveness/service/price to try to separate you from some cash.

And be advised that the average IDIOT weekend warrior from Texas has a lot more disposable income and a lot LESS consumer-sense than YOU.

I take back that last statement: They have more disposable income and less consumer sense than ME!

Seriously, the prices in the whitey bars in NL are out of whack. 40 year old trolls in wigs and caked on makeup should NOT be asking 70-80 bucks plus the room at Papagayos. That guys actually pay that amount makes me want to tattoo this website on their forehead when I find out about it.

Most of the gals in Tamyko may be over-the-hill and unattractive, but at least they're aggressive. LOL

I did my undergraduate work in "how to fend off the fuglies" there several years ago. I've spent countless lost afternoons in that orange Japanese pagoda. Eighty percent of the time just to have a Modelo and relax.

From a cultural standpoint, I can't think of a better place to see the ancient (and traditional) art of basic Mexican mesero behavior
on display. I'm sure there are more than a handful of places in TJ where you get the same thing though.

Is Hollywood Nites out of business? If so, has anyone found a good substitute for their hotel rooms?

CNN ran a story on kidnappings in NL. I did not catch any mention of mongers.

Also saw an article in the USA Today on Feb. 4th.

I recently seen this story last tues morn. CNN news. Story was interesting and they did give a website. Laredos missing.com or nuevolaredos missing.com something like that. I noticed that most of the people that are missing are mexican-americans and the story focused mainly on two females that were returning from a concert back in september. I do not visit or am I near that part of the country. The story did catch my eye because I live in san diego and visit tijuana regularly. For all that do vist nuevo laredo monger or no monger be safe.

Here is an interesting link regarding how the cartels are fighting to takeover Nuevo Laredo. Sounds very dangerous down there right now. Hope one side wins soon so things can get back to normal.

I'm a newbie that travels to Piedras Negras and Nuevo Laredo every week. I would really like to hit BT at both of these places....However, I travel alone. Any suggestions?

Is it safe for me to go to any of these places? I have a pretty decent grasp of the language so I can make sure a cabbie doesn't screw me over and I can also negotiate fairly well. What would be the best times for me to go? Are there any groups that go out there regularly? Do I need my passport now?

Just don't wanna be a mark because I'm by myself out there and will take any edge I can get.

I would say if you're a first timer at Nuevo Laredo you won't have many problems. Most of the zone is OK and occasionally can be great. There is decent security and an actual police station in the compound. I have never had any problems with the cops there, but I've seen others who have.

It is a basically a square compound with a total of six streets--the four that form the outside border and two in the middle.

On the far last street to your left, as you enter the compound, there are some travesti bars on the right hand side. If you head down there, which I don't recommend, make sure your wallet is DEEP inside your front pocket and if they try to grab your arms, watch out for your watch.

There is another travesti bar called the Western, formerly the Dallas Cowboy on the back street around the middle of the compound. You'd be surprised at how good some of the travestis look, especially if you've had a few cold ones.

I've only been there once since 2001 so I'm not up to speed on any changes, although I've been there countless times before and nothing much changes really. As far as Piedras, yes, I've been there maybe 20 times. If you're in the neighborhood, it's maybe worth a look, but I never really found the quality there that you'll find in NL, much less the quantity.

There's no town on the Texas border that I haven't partied in, and that includes Ojinaga, Chihuahua--Nuevo Laredo is still the best...

I'm looking for someone to partner up with for a trip to NL. I travel to NL every 2 weeks. I alternate weeks to eagle pass then NL, so I wouldn't mind going to either place. I'm new to the mongering game so any help would be great! Feel free to email if anyone's interested.

Recently, I had to unfortunately do some business in San Antonio.
Since it had been over 2 years I crossed over into the Mexican border, I thought I would visit Boystown.
Well, I know there was some type of drug cartels warring going on but figured
I don't buy or sell drugs so had just as much chance getting shot as the 1/2 million other people living there. So I drove the 2 hours down there.
Now I set my expectations extremely low, but figured how bad could it be??

My first stop was Papaguyos as it is the first place there.
I honestly do not think I have seen that many ugly women together in one place.
The only reason I could think why I bought a drink there was... comparable to wanting slow down and see the victims of a traffic accident (somthing fascinating about something horrific).

Then I stopped at 1-2-3. There were 6 girls, one actually with a slender tanned body but those usual rock-hard, scarred tits. As she came closer, she smiled and showed off her 2 buck-teeth.
I bought her a drink($10) simply so I could grab her ass. She showed me her shaved pussy as well.

I then went to Marabu. Ask them if any girls and the guy said "Si, Si!". I went in, there was the bartender and one fat chica, no other people. LOL. I turned and left.

Just when I thought my low expectations were exceeded, it did not prepare for this:
I decided to just walk around Boystown. It amazed there were little cubby hole type rooms, where short little porker putas want you to pay them for sex. If that did make me want to puke, I then turned the corner. I was approached by 3 6-foot tall f-ugliest looking transvestites that have to exist. I thought for sure my life was over. They approached me and said with a deep voice "Want to make love". I literally did a 180 and started sprinting around the same corner to avoid any kind of confrontation.

Finally, I met 2 old American geezus who explained to me they are "regulars" there. Okay, so I asked them where I could something that resembles something of a female. They looked puzzled, but said a strip bar called "Danash has all 10's". Fine, let me at least check the place out.
It is called the Danash Exotic Review. And actually, the place was somewhat okay. It had main stage and probably 10-15 girls who strip. The girls were maybe 5-6's, with one 7. She was of course the Bomb there and unapproachable since she seemed to be Mexican guys' private reserve.

I sat with a girl 22yo chica who said she had no kids. She was somewhat cute, but the typical taco soft mexican body. She claimed she would "do everything" in the room. I asked her if she would kiss, and do BBBJ. She said "Si". So $70 and 15 minutes later, it was all over. No kissing, no bbbj, no orgasm. It was classic dead-fish, unpassionate sex I remember from the TJ days.
She was out the door and could not be found in the bar. I think she went and hid. (Laughing).

I swear it was like taking the worse of TJ's (horrific scarred tits and bad lipo suctions, that nasty red lipstick, 10 minute knocks, motionless sex, etc.) and making it into a place called Boystown.

Like visiting the outskirts of Havana, Cuba when you see how poor and repressed peole are treated there, you will never complain again about things in the US anymore.
The good thing to come from this nightmare was it showed me how lucky I am I can travel to South America.

If you must go to this place, I can only say that Danash place is the only place to go. But with so many beautiful Texas women, the time and money spent would be more entertaining just going to a normal club or even a strip club.

I was in NLBT a couple of times last year and was with a girl from Monclova who worked at Marabu named Jackeline. She was 30 about 5'2 and about 130 lbs. Small tits but great personality. Does anyone else know her or where she might be now? When I went back a couple of weeks ago no one in the club could tell me much.

Had the misfortune to have to travel to Laredo - only the US side - for one night (What a freakin' ugly and miserable place). On my last few trips down there, I always ventured to Nuevo Laredo and Boystown and had a moderately good time. Now it looks like things have changed dramatically...downtown Nuevo Laredo appears to be a ghost town at night due to all of the drug trafficker shoot-outs, which now include random grenades. Even the somewhat famous Cadillac Bar has now closed down - outside mongering & boystown, it was a fun place to hang-out.

Didn't have the courage to try Boystown....but would be curious if anyone on this board has in recent times made it there. If Nuevo Laredo downtown is dead because of lack of tourist and even the locals are scared to go out at night, I am sure the same applies to Boystown....but would be curious to see if anyone has ventured there recently.

I agree it's not the time to visit NL or really any border town. Most of the news from Mexico here in south Texas points to the areas continuing to become more dangerous, and it's not worth the risk.

What's the story with N/L and Boystown? Anyone been there lately or is it still too dangerous

On a note - both related and not - Just hooked up with a girl from the former Papagayos in Boystown in Nuevo Laredo. I have heard that Papagayos closed down a while ago due. Boystown appears to still exist, but is just a shadow of its former self. Only a couple of bars are still around and are all controlled by the cartels. Police hassle visitors like crazy. This is just second hand - not sure if true, but it sure sounds like it is. Most of the limited activity that is left seems to have moved to the downtown area across the border.

Stayed in touch with this "girl" (most definitely a woman now) for more then a decade now. Meet up here and there, this time in Monterrey. Even there things have changed quite a bit due to the Narco issues.....One of my favorite former places (non- P4P) for the most part is gone, Barrio Antiguo. Due to my company did not have a chance to explore the P4P scene, however.

My former Papagayos girl has long changed professions and is now working a regular job. So maybe a Tiger can change its stripes (ok, maybe in very limited and forced, i.e narco shooting, type of circumstances :-) The weekend with her was torture, however, as she wants something more serious. Can't really blame her for pushing - would want to get the fuck out of there as well on the back of some Gringo if I was in her shoes.

What a shame what has happend to all the former border activity. While it never was great...even at its best it was just a fraction of quality in service in other P4P venues...it was just very convenient at times if work called you close to those areas.
