OK, let's see if we can keep this simple.
There is a set of railroad tracks that run north to south.
West of the tracks is the main tourist area, but it does include some clubs, such as Rio and Obsessions.
East fo the tracks is the best lineup of clubs, with little of interest to the soccer moms looking for a plaster donkey for their front lawns.
Starting at Cherries, and working south, here is a lineup of the establishments along the street that parallels Ave. P. Elias Calles.
Cherries
Lord Black
Placer
Cantina Sr. Amigo
Heifer Cantina (fairly new, mostly Mexican clientel)
La Cueva Bar (downstairs, transvestite shows)
Moochies restaurant (daytime only, legit)
Restaurant El Faisel (seafood, legit)
Cubano Bar (Mariachi music, Mexican)
Potros Cantina (daytime only? legit?)
Further up the street (south) on the corner across from Hotel Colonial, there is another place that sometimes has girls but sometimes has transvestites.
Hope this helps.

And on the block just East of the one with Cherries, Lord Black, and Placers you have:
Lipstick, Fernie's, ???, ??? ... ...
Let's see if we can put together a graphical map. I'll do it if/when I get the time. I hope to have a site up with pictures of the bars soon, too.

Well, that street has establishments on both sides, although other than the pool parlor above Cherries there is nothing on the west side of the street.
On the east side, working north to sough, you have a couple of mexicn bars, then lipsticks, then the new fish bar that is packed with non-working girls, then Fernis, then the little hole in the wall bar below Fernis.
I'll get all the names when I go down Wednesday night. All those golf pencils I've been taking home for years are starting to come in handy.
Sure you don't want to come on the 24th -- UIC and I have a flight that lands in Foonix at 7:30, so we expect to be headed south no later than 8:15 -- which puts us in Tucson a little after 9.

anyone know where an eye doctor is i nogales, so i can pick up some discount contact lenses? and how much would the lenses cost versus the USA?

Phoenix to Nogales only takes 2 hours if you go 75 and dont stop. The Phoenix to Tucson portion is 1:15 minutes, and the Tucson to border portion is 45 minutes.

Msorayas:
Not to be disagreeable, but Tucson is about 1:10 from I-10 and Chandler Blvd. Even in My RV (OK, add 10 minutes for the RV).
Only snowbirds do less than 85 from north of Casa Grande to south of Marana. (So many snowbirds, so little freezer space.) I've had days when 90 meant "stay in the right lane." It is one of the great stretches of open road left in America.
Similarly, the run down I-19 is only 45-50 minutes. With the exception of going through Green Valley (posted at 65), it is posted at 75 all the way, whcih means running at 80 doesn't even earn you a glance from DPS. It's only 90+ kilometers (60 miles) -- quite the easy run.

Just down for a few hours of frolicing. Probably get a room and leave about 5:30 so I can be at work in Phoenix by 8:00, even with rush hour traffic in both Foonix and Tucson.

I'd watch your drive time between Eloy and Red Rock on I-10, especially during the day. They set up there a couple times a week to nail speaders and will pull you over for 83.
Do not speed through the green valley area on I-19. You may get away with it a few times but that's just because they've nailed someone else. They're looking to get some fine money there.

Totally agree with your comments on Green Valley. It is a natural born speed trap.

Diabetic -
Golf pencils. YES! What a revelation. I keep taking a pen and putting it in my back pocket, but it always wiggles out by the end of the third lapdance... Now I got more notes than I can handle.
BTW, I got nice digital pictures of the major Nogie landmarks, and plotted them out on a Nogie street map. But I'm sure I missed some of the non-tittie-bar joints (on the map). Wanna collaborate on a good Nogie mongering map? I'm planning on using CH's free web space to put together a kind of monger-centric visitor's guide to Nogales. I can use all the help I can get.

Bill,
You are on. Let's move this to my CH mailbox: diabetic@clubhombre.com. I'm still in the Southeast, but will return on Thursday

Business takes me to Phx which allows for my first trip to Nogales (11/6), yoohoo. I've been to TJ several times and I LIKE IT. For those who have been, Adelita's has everything I need 90% of the time, based on that here's my plan for NG based on what I've read. Get to NG about 5pm park and walk across la linea. Go to Cherries (early bar) have fun. Head over to Placer's about 8pm after it starts up, more fun, high quality. Expect to pay slightly more for services than I do at TJ after you add up all the costs. Decline the services of pimps, waste of money. My spanish is plenty good, I shouldn't need help negotiating from a third party. Drive slow through Green Valley.
I appreciate all the information already posted and would welcome any advice to enhance my trip. Thanks

Hey, Fireball.
I hope you enjoy Nogales. It's no TJ, but there's fun to be had and it's a MUCH more laid-back and safe town. The chicas are mighty hot, gotta be at least as hot as TJ chicas.
On the plus side, you can get great, cheap ($7-$9) lapdances all night in Nogales. On the minus side, your $50 fuck only lasts 6-12 minutes. (Get two VIP dances if necessary).
Go to Cherrie's - yes. You might also check out Rio's before 9-10 PM. Fuck, check them both out.
Don't bother with any other clubs until 9-10 PM. There won't be a single chica in the club until 9:00, and most won't trickle-in 'till 10:00, to be on the safe side.
My picks for evening clubs are Lipstick, Placers, Rio's and Obsessions. Placers is more expensive but has the hottest chicas. Avoid Lord Black, period.
Don't pay more than $60 to fuck - period.
Stay away from pimps/barkers - yes. Who needs em?
And don't buy any ficha drinks ($10-$12 in Nogie) - there is no reason to buy them, really.
Have fun, man!
