Had a longer post wiped out here, and too tired to care to try again at the moment, so the short version:
Lots of young chicks come here to dance. You, the dirty old man, will be the only person in the place over 25. There is NO A/C or ventilation, so it will be INSANELY HELLISHLY HOT. If you can't REALLY dance, you probably won't have much luck here. It's like Las Pulgas in TJ on training wheels. With no tables or waiters to help you out. Just a bunch of benches (bleacher-esque seating) and chicas traveling in packs dancing with each other until the right tough guy comes around to dance with them.
The good news, though, is if you can REALLY dance, picking up some very young girls in this place will be like fishing with dynamite. Unfortunately, I can't.

Milkman, Zaz was closed for re-modeling for several months but has recently re-opened. It's only open on weekends, and attracts LOTS of cholo types because there are lots of young girls there. Anybody over 25 looks VERY out of place. Dress? The baggiest jeans you can imagine. NBA gear over a T-shirt. Sideways cap or headband. Get the idea? It's a LITTLE tamer on Sundays, the day I originally went and posted to this thread.
Re: other discos, there are plenty of dollar a dance type places with semi-pros in the Centro area. For regular discos, Kankun is supposed to be a nice place, Volcan sounds like Las Pulgas on steroids -- have major concerts there sometimes. Barrio Antiguo is where the young and beautiful and wealthy set hang out -- kind of like a whole mess of Plaza Fiesta meets Baby Rock type places. Then there's Far West if you wanna line dance. Not sure if they have live rodeo like they do in the U.S.
