Is there any action in Palomas?

That is a question I have asked before. I got not much of a response. But what I can say is I drove there once on a Monday afternoon. It was a nice ride from El Paso. When I got there All I saw was a couple salones de bailes. There has got to be pussy in that town. Where I don't know. I may breakdown some day and take a weekend trip there and scout things out.

Yeah I live in SE Arizona, and on a trip to El Paso/Juarez I happened to stop there. As in all small border towns, the Taxi driver is your friend. Unfortunatly for me I arrived too early (about 11:00 am) for any action, but I was assured that there were several bars that had working girls, although the quality may be wanting. I stopped in one bar and met an american who frequents palomas and he assured me that there was pretty good action on the weekends, when he makes it down there from Deming. But then "good action" may be up to interpretation.

I still need to follow up on some leads in Naco, Mx, a one horse mexican town in my neck of the woods. Apparently there is a bar or two that offers services from some of the local ladies. One of these days when I get really bored, I'll track this down.

Knew a girl at the old Mona Lisa night club in Juarez who said she used to work at the Flamingo bar in Palomas. Never been there, though.

WOW, the Mona Lisa? Thats going back a bit. I remember how up and down that bar was. Always a variety.

I'm laughing pretty hard to remember my one venture into Palomas. First, there is not decent hotel there. The room I got had a bed, a toilet, and a sink. I am telling you, that is all there was. No toilet paper, no curtains, no radio, tv, ac, heat, nothing. By 8 p.m. every 2nd man on the street was so drunk he could hardly walk. By dark I was apparently the only gringo left in town. The girls in the bars who were available were fat. I was getting hostile stares from the locals (something which *never* happens in Juarez). By 9 p.m. I had had enough, gather the coat from my freezingly cold room, and walked back across the border. I missed the Border Patrol check point because there was no one there and headed straight for the parking lot. The spot lights in the customs building came on, and four agents and a dog ran out of the building with guns drawn and shouted for me to stop. The dog was jumping up and down and barking. I wasn't drunk and didn't have anything, so they let me go.

The town has one main dirt road for main street.

There is a place called Lucky 7 on the first or second street to the right off the main street. If you can screw 6 women there you're 7th is free, so the story goes. There were no women in there. I went in there three times.
