Most of the clubs have increased table dance prices....$8 at Placers and Lord Black, $7 at Lipsticks, Cherrys and Fernis...I remember the summer of 99..all of the table dances were $6 and the private dances were $15....I was wondering, what is the average wage per hour in Nogales? If the average wage in Nogales is, for example 20 pesos an hour...one days wage would equal two table dances...That would be like an american paying like $50 a table dance...average wage of $100 a day...Uh, how the hell do they think the locals are able to go to the clubs??

They think:"to hell with the locals, we'll get it from the border crossers, and make a ton!"
or something like that....

Like anything in a free market, they'll charge what people will pay. If you want to keep prices low, haggle. I've turned down private dances from chicas I really wanted because they wouldn't come down in price. They sit around on the weeknights and watch the other girls working one customer after the other. Eventually, they learn that they can price themselves out of business.
I think it's the first timers and big groups from the U.S. that are overpaying. I once watched a bachelor party from Tucson with about 10 guys spoil a room. Not only did they keep all the good girls busy, all the others wanted more money that night. I just went to a different club.
I've haggled on prices and times per dance and found them perfectly flexible. Everyone wants to do business. Just be reasonable about it and they'll find a way to accomodate you.

So are the dances $8 for table, and $20 for private?

Prices will drop again, once UofA lets out and the snowbirds head back north.
when the temp is #115 at 10 p.m., you can just about name your own price.
