There are several parking businesses by the Santa Fe bridge. The occasions I park on this side I usually park at the first one that is practically under the bridge. The charge is 3 dollars and I believe is becomes 8 dollars after a certain time in the morning, like about 8am or so. As for a few days, you will have to ask the attendant. What exactally are your plans? Do you plan on being in Juarez the whole time or make daily excursions?

I hope to be in El Paso next month for the first time and I need a good safe place close to the border to park my car for 3 or 4 days. Yes I will be in Juarez the entire time. I prefer to park on the USA side as opposed to being in Mexico. What do you think?
I notice there are more than one bridge to cross into Juarez, which do you prefer?
Thanks for the input Rabidkang

Salsa Boy, did you ever find a parking place in El Paso?

The Sante Fe brige is the only practical one for U.S. side parking. Try the place on the east side of Sante Fe just after you pass 4th and before you get to Father Rhahm. It says "Public Parking" on the side of the building next door. It's a small lot but the people who run it live in the apartments facing the parking lot. I left my car there up to a week at a time for over a year with no indidents, whereas my CD played got ripped out at one of the bigger parking lots. If you are a regular visitor springing a couple of hundred bucks for Mexican insurance is an even better idea...

I hear you about insurance. You do not want to be uncovered in Mexico. I have a policy with State Farm and I am covered up to 25 miles into Mexico. Check your current coverage with a simple phone call, you may save some money not buying what you may not need.
