Another good restaurant is about 2 blocks north of Rio Mar on the opposite side of the street on the corner of Guerrero and Venzuela. Called El Rancho. Steakhouse and seafood. Dance club and bar all in one. Roving Mariachis. Great service, food pretty decent although I had the Calso Pescado and wasn't pparticularly impressed. A lot of upscale young Mexican couples and at least thirty women alone or in small groups enjoying a night out. Might be worth a troll some night. Prices for two were under $25.00. Atmosphere is great as are the murals and hand carved pillars and ceiling borders.
