Nogales is a funny place. It is different from TJ in that there are no hotels/motels attached to the clubs (OK, there is one exception!) and all ofhte action takes place in the club's rooms, on a chair, in 6 or 7 minutes.

The phrase "your mileage may vary" is absolutely approprite. It will vary from club to club, from day to day, from girl to girl. The hot Chica on Tuesday may be ice cold on Wednesday. Prices rise during the winter (once the horny UofA students are in town and the snowbirds are in full flight) and drop again in the summer, when the rooms are hot, hot, hot! (Even if the girls are not).

Everything you need is within 1/4 mile of the border, and it is a small enough, safe enough town that if you get mugged itis, without a doubt, your own damned fauly.

If you are in need of a guide or assistance, there is a harmless enough guy named Albert who is an American living on the south side of the border. Just start asking around, and he'll find you. Slip him a few bucks and he will steer you in the right direction. He knows nearly everyone, and sometimes is just a fun guy to walk with.

Be careful when booking a room, as many do not allow you to bring in a girl, even in the daylight and even if you have paid for two. Ask before sliding the money across the counter.

Most of the restaurants are pretty safe. I've had no real bad experiences there.

My experience on YMMV is just that. However, if you get known by the girls (or just a favorite) they will treat you right and not haggle too much over what you want to "tip" them. These girls are smart cookies and know (after a while) who will pay what prices. Some girls may want to sit with you and have you buy them a "drink", stay away from that, that "drink" is $10.00 and is a virgin (n/a) replica of a margarita most of the time. I simply tell them that I would rather give them the money directly rather than invest in something where they only get a percentage.

Last time down (end of Nov.)I paid $30 for a bj. Once in the room she went for the condom and I said no condom, she said with and lowered the price to $20. Also, I have found at Placers and Lord Blacks the ticket guys will give you a price of $50 for fs and $30 for bj but many of the girls will go for $40 and $20 if you negotiate. Something I have been meaning to post is the reason why most of the clubs names (at least on the marquis)include T.D.'s . It's basically because they have "table dances". Some clubs are owned by the same people (referring to an older post somewhere in here) but most are not. For example, CHERRY'S & LIPSTICK have the same owner. Thus, the migration of girls from Cherry's to Lipstick at closing time.

With that in mind, if a girl asks you to buy her a drink, I would rather offer to give her the $10.00 to sit with you if that's what you intend to do, if she claims that she can be pulled away to dance or vip, then buy a ticket (either) and give it to her to hold until you are ready. This is, of course, if you want to sit and talk to the girl. I happen to find them quite interesting and if you are bilingual, they want to practice their English on you if you allow them to. It makes for an interesting and unique experience providing the attitude and predisposition is there.

I have an addendum to post concerning the cuts on tickets, the ticket sellers (boleteros) get .50 cents per ticket they sell. This is subtracted from the girls take and not the houses.

I think Placers opens at 3:00 and I read Rio's opens early. You may want to look through the threads on those clubs. I noticed that some clubs don't turn the air conditioning on until 7:00 so some can be pretty warm. Placers is now charging $9 for a lap dance and $22 for private. That is higher than the other clubs have been. I think Cherries is $7 and $20.

Okay so I haven't been to Nogales in a few months to the actual clubs, visited the the new massage parlor a few times (which I really like). Went last night and hit three clubs. Went to Lord Blacks first and got a priv, and the curtain stayed open, then I was told that all the clubs are like this now. I was told that you had to buy three priv. tickets for the curtain to be closed, is this really true all over town. If so, that really sucks, there is nothing worse than trying to make arrangements, and having some dude in the room across from you looking right at you. Really ruins the moment.

Nogales was never that great! It was only cheaper five/six years ago. Nogales is finally princing themself out of business. Now only a few customers go there and fewer get sessions. TJ prices are still the same price while Nogales has more than doubled.

During its "golden age" Nogales had quite a collection of beautiful chicas with good attitudes. Dudes had real good times and spent money when the prices were more reasonable and the chicas were happy making money. It was fun.

Btw, an amigo who lives in southern AZ and continues to visit Nogales almost weekly has been touting good times at a new club called VIP (I hope I have the name right). The thing is they are giving him all inclusive package deals at a nearby hotel - he pays a total of $130 which includes bar fine, hotel room and hot chica for sessions that are untimed - at least if you aren't well exceeding an hour. From what I hear, the other clubs are much greedier about these kinds of "off premise" arrangements.

The club I call Fiesta is also called VIP. They have been working it a bit because they are at the southern extreme of the titty bars.

I am new to the area and want to check out Nogalis. What are typical prices for BBJ and FS? I have not seen any action in Tucson. What's the deal here? Its easier to pick up a girl in Salt Lake City than in Tucson. Where are they? And don't say miricle mile that place is deserted.

The thing about Nogales these days is they will try to get as much as you are willing to pay. If you go to the stripclubs you will first have to purchase a private dance which runs probably $20-$25 dollars. That is only good for maybe 3 songs. So unless you can blow a load in 3 songs you will have to negotiate double time or whatever. Ask the girls upront how much a bj will be. When you get in the private room you will have to pay her for the bj or sex. A bj will probably run $20-$60 more.

There is a brothel on the south end of town where you can get everything for $65. There are pimps, streetgirls, and semi-pros in the regular bars. Finally, you can take girls to the hotel after Cherry's closes at 8 for like $50 plus the room.

Rio and Lord Black are closed. Lord Black might reopen. You are leaving out Cherry's, VIP, Gua Gua, and Titanic(not walking distance). La Conga(brothel)exists. I hope they all go under and they start over with a new format because this one isn't working. Clubs are open 7 days a week but many open at night. Cherry's is daytime action.

Fiesta VIP on the south end of the strip was closed on a recent Sunday evening visit. I do not know if it has gone under or if they are just being good catholics (lol). If they were also closed on Friday night, that would be a very bad sign.

Bolieros should have been open and it is mighty hard to miss. That is where the hottest girls dance these days.

I have not seen any life at Cherry's (day or night) in a long time. Consider it closed.

I have not seen any sign of contruction at Lord Blacks since it closed, so I do not expect it to come back.

The best options for day time action are probably the massage parlors North of Lord Blacks and South of Boliero.

I have never explored El Potros in the afternoon, but they had nothing going on a recent Sunday night.

My next NOGI visit is tentatively planned for November 25 (Thursday).

The whole scene is really dying out. Potros is bad in the daytime. Sometimes it is an option at night. I mentioned Salon Regis for daytime action. I have fucked locals at Jacarandas at night for free. There are whores at that hotel right by the good ground beef taco stand by the border. I have seen Cherrys open but who knows these days. Every time I go either something new is open or something old is closed. I barely go there for sex anymore. Mainly medicine and I might hit the brothel since it opens at like 11am.

Don't limit yourself to just the stripbars for sex. The possibilities are endless if you talk to the local girls, taxi drivers, pimps, and bartenders. There is a lot more sex available than meets the average tourists eye.

Removing the doors was a city ordinance passed by the holier-than-thou's during an election season. With one of the local papers keeping an eye on them, the clubs had little choice but to comply or be shut down.

Deciding to raise prices, instead of coming up with some better option (like short time hotels next door for a reasonable price), was the clubs' stupidity. Mexicanomics at its finest.

last time i went to nogi was in oct. i only went to 69 and placers. there was not any curtains on the rooms but there is enough privacy for me. 69 will give u an option to go in an office w/ a couch sometimes. lord blacks was offering rooms w/ a bed for a little while early this year or maybe that was bolaros. ramone at placers hooked me and my freind up w/ the best girls in the bar for 180$ plsu i gave him a 50$ tip like i always do.

early this year i went to obsessions and they could not let u have sex w/the girls in the bar so they were sending every1 across the street to a motle but it more xpensive.

Msorayas - Rio is not open. Either is Lord Black. It would depend on which girls works at which club. They all charge about the same. Somewhere between $150-200. Don't need to tip anybody because everyone get part of that fee. The club takes about $70 per session, the girl gets about $100, and the ticket seller gets $10.

For the novice, you have Obsessions and the few remaining clubs on the other side of the railroad tracks.

Try to meet the girls outside the club after the shift.

Hotel Elias always has girls and is centrally located.

For the more experienced, you have street girls, semi-pros, a brothel, and locals. Plenty of wannabe pimps walking around that will set you up. Most local Mexican bars have whores sitting right at the bar. Tecolote is open all night as well. As around, especially the taxi drivers. I have had good luck in Salon Regis and Jacaranda.

It has been a few months since my last visit to this shit hole and nothing seems to have changed for better or for worse. It is not unusual for me to visit Nogales for a few nasty dances and leave without sessioning, especially on weekends when the best chicas are taken. This was one of those nights, so this post may be unworthy of this monger board except to assure you that Nogales is not completely dead yet.

Started out the evening at Fiesta VIP and somehow managed to get there without a tout latching on. The club had a few friendly women in the 3 to 6 category. Bought one beer for me, drinks for two chicas and one privado dance with the 6, but no extras.

Headed north and stopped in Eros Massage for a look at the ladies. The lineup was seven girls with 4 of them doable. One was a tiny spinner that tempted me, but I like my latinas with black hair and she was a bleach blond.

There were a couple ladies standing in front of El Potros and a quick peek inside revealed a couple more sitting across the bar, but nothing to warrant a closer look.

Next stop was Bolerios strip club. The first girl on my lap was a newbie named Moriana. Her killer hard hard body was about 5'2" and 100 pounds. She would have been a perfect spinner except for a ridiculous pair of DD bolt ons where B cups should have been and an awful frizzy bleach blond hair style. A few things have changed in Nogales since my last visit, but nothing to elevate it above lost cause status.

The pharmacy with jesus fish on it's sign charged me $16 for a 20mg Levitra. Cost less state side, but it had the genuine effect.

A so-so street girl offered herself a couple minutes after I left the pharmacy, but the pill would not do its magic for another hour, so I brushed her off and headed to the clubs.

The massage parlor on the south end of strip had 3 average looking girls available. Manager offered outside girls at lower cost, but I did not pursue that. The massage parlor on the north end of the strip was closed, but touts said it would be open on the weekend.

Next stop was LUST. They had a few average girls, but no sign of the hottie that I came down intending to fuck. Forgot her name, so could not ask them to call her in.

Lord Black is open again, taking over the building that used to be Placers. Same guy owned both, so not sure why he decided to use the Lord Black name after an extremely minor remodel. About the only noticable change was fixing old broken down chairs. Twenty girls, all 4 to 7 of average thickness. Nobody there excited me enough for a privado.

Cherry's is open again and I stopped in about 11 PM. Two girls on duty, a 3 and a 6. Tried a US$23 privado with the 6, but would not do her again.

Bolerios still had the best variety of girls and biggest crowd in town. First US$23 privado was with a busty girl who did not do much to thrill me. Got my usual privado from Citlaly and she was acting kind of tender performing well below expectations. Saw one newbie 9 on duty, but she was glued to somebody elses lap.

Studio 69 had one hot blonde spinner that won a ficha drink and privado from me, but she did not perform well enough to make me want more. They still need to shit can those god awful chairs and turn down the volume.

Obsessions was closing when I arrived at midnight and girls were already dressed and checking out. The manager was trying to set me up with a hotel package, but I was not interested in what was available.

I am still waiting for a chance to escape my job for three weeks so I can get to Pattaya or Angeles City.

Thanks for the update on Nogi H4a2. Sounds like the border crossing restrictions may have reduced their gringo customer base even further. Nothing but a sad echo of the fun place Nogi once was.

WRT escaping your job for 3 weeks - I'm off to the Philippines next Friday. Leaving on Friday night, coming back a week later on Sunday, that allows a full week in country (you lose about 1 day each way).

Hot4ass, there was actually quite a bit of talent at VIP those weekend nights - many young flacas and even the 2nd tier chicas weren't too bad. If there were cows I didn't see them as I was too distracted with the thoroughbreds. If you know TJ at all I would say that the chicas in this club are more like Tropical in TJ and less the glam queens of Adelita Bar.

However, the hottest chicas made no effort to win my business. There was one chica I seriously admired for 2 nights. The first night she was ficha fucking one dude the whole time, but the 2nd night she just lay out in the back making no effort to meet my interested eyes.

Heard from several people in Nogales this week that the city gave the TD clubs until November to close down. The clubs are suppose to move into a Zona Roja further south. Something like Boys' town in NL. The taxi drivers are going to be doing more business next year. For those who knew Rafael from the clubs, he open "Taco Place" about 100yd north of Titanic Club on the same side of road.

I would not mind the taxi ride if the clubs were like they were 5 to 7 years ago. Wow, time flies.

Yeah, but the one really good thing about Nogie was the whole one-two minutes it took to get from Lord Blacks back to your car on the US side. Building a boystown is fine, better than the shit that has been Nogie the past 4-5 years, but that just introduces a lot of bullshit with taxi drivers and touts and whatnot.

I am almost looking forward to the change kojak is talking about. Perhaps the new zona roja is outside of city limits where the municipal government cannot fuck with the clubs. As I recall, it was the municipal government that made them take the curtains down and doors off.

Makes me wonder what the nogales government has in mind for that side of the street. Perhaps housing for workers waiting to sneak across the border.

I've never been to boystown in Nuevo Laredo, still I would welcome such a change for Nogi.

The customer, the girls, and the bar owners. The bars nor the girls are making top dollar, and the customers are pretty much awol from what I've heard and read.

If the bars are ordered to close in Nov. is this new zona rojo or boystown already set up and ready for business? Are there buildings in place for the bar owners to move into or do they have to build from the ground up? What about the massage parlors by the border, are they to shut down as well?

I guess the main issue for me to become a regular visitor again would be girl quality, and to a lesser degree quantity. If the bargirls move as well, I could see myself goin back. However if we're talkin La Conga quality I would probably be less inclined to be a regular.

There were talk about turning it into a small shopping mall because of the closeness to the U.S. The city wanted to improve the image. You might have notice that at night now you can't park on the street next to the clubs. Only a few places to park after 8pm.

There are couple of hotels behind the clubs now where you can rent for a night and hotel California where you can rent for $18/hr.

The details on the closure were the TD clubs and Tecote club. I don't know about Conga. If you get down there, you might talk with George who works for Eros massage.

It's been a few years since I was a member here @ Club Hombre. I have been posting on another board. My previous name here was Chucky69. I live in the Nogales, Az. area and have been here for 40+ yrs. I cross into Nogales, Son. about 2-3 times a week, mainly going to Obsessions. Obsessions has is going through some renovations. The bar area is now located towards the front of the building next to the DJ's booth. They have built a new VIP room between the bathrooms and the entrance to the privados. Not sure what they will be charging for the use of the VIP, but I'll try and find out next time over. Since the flood, Studio 69 has opened, closed and re-opened. The clubs on Elias Street, across the RR tracks are really hurting for business. Especially Lord Black, Lust and Studio 69. Boleiros is probably the only one that hasn't been hurt as bad. Many of the girls have gone to Obsessions to work.

well got back from Nogales 2 days ago and I had a amazing time. Osoblanco was of extreme help and guided me about the city. we had lunch together while a hot waitress took the time to shoot the shit with Osoblanco had amazing mexican food then went to Obsessions. This would be sad if true. During the few trips I made to Nogales in the good days this restaurant was always a great time out or way to start a long night of debauchery. Back in those best days of Nogie the clubs were full but the streets were quiet, so the upscale patrons of this elegant restaurant and nightclub could come into the club district without feeling too self-conscious about being in a red-light district. Then the inevitable happened and the once tranquil streets became lousy with barkers and would be gringo guides and pimps - the character of those 2-3 streets changed and not in a friendly way to the vast majority of La Roca clientele.

Hey, if you live in Tucson and La Roca is still opened and haven't raised their prices in pesos as most of the TJ places have in order to remove the benefit of paying in devalued pesos, this could be the best bargain you can find for elegant dining and also throwing private parties, banquets, et al. You can take mom, dad and your sister and your girlfriend to the Nogie zona for a fantastic night out and get a 40% discount or better on the price in dollars if you pay in pesos.

I haven't been there in years. I wonder if it got to the point where there was a steady presence of 50 year old gringo PLMs having dinner with 21 year old club chicas as is now not an uncommon sight in some upscale TJ venues?

It is still called Obsessions, they had changed management and were going to change the name to Candy Club. The name Candy Club is on the back door, but it's still Obsessions. The sign out front still says Obsessions. The management changed, but within a couple of months, it change again and the new management kept Obsessions as the name. There is still way too many Boleteros and Meseros at the place, but they have appox. 30-35 chicas that work between the day shift and the night shift.

Keep in mind fellas-from phoenix it is a 3 hour drive so it does not seem to be worth it-especially with it getting increasingly dangerous in the border towns-travel warnings have been issued for nogales to americans. From tucson it is probably worth going down there since it is much closer. i hear private dances are going from 20 to 25 dollars apiece in nogales which seems really high. u can get lap dances for 10 bucks in phoenix, but to each his own

Since this thread is turning into another series of eulogies for Nogie, I will add that what Notie had roughly within the time frame that Cat states, was an astonishing array of top tier latinas. A decent number of them could be counted on to provide hot and nasty surprises in the privados with no tip negotiated beforehand - such as Azguy mentions, a BBBJ just for the heck of it.

But what Nogie never had was a reasonable and workable structure for actually getting it done from A-ZZ in a bed in a private room. It was always out of bounds expensive and too much trouble for that for world mongers and even Mexico mongers like myself. It was about stripclubs and on-premises action. You could never go beyond that without spending too much money and/or plenty of inconvenience.

So what happened? Very simply the sex in the booths got pretty much eliminated and the off site alternatives remain expensive and/or inconvenient unless you live close to Nogie and have the time to make mid-week outdates.

I will say I had a fairly comprehensive review of Nogie last spring after being away since things were good, and I found that there were still plenty of very hot chicas - but no BBBJ's in the privados and with only a weekend at my disposal, no opportunity to make outdates that made sense...except I did get phenomenally lucky and find a semi-pro who did give me an amazing outdate experience at a bargain basement price (I did a TR somewhere on this site). But a casual visitor can't count on that happening. I got lucky and when the opportunity literally landed on my lap, I knew what to do with it.

But that was last spring and I've heard that new negative forces have intervened and maybe its worse now than at that time? But if no change, it still can't be a bad time for someone from southern Arizona with nothing better to do to cruise down and mix it up however you can with some fine young chicas who for some reason are still relying on Nogie for survival. There are chicas there and some very good ones. But you have to figure out how to buck the system to make it work out any better than just a quickie run to local stripclubs in Phoenix or Tucson.

Nogales started declining after 9/11, the increased scrutiny and extra documentation required to cross. after that, removed a lot of casual visitors.The permanent change that required a passport or approved identification was another hindrance, but the municipal codes requiring the removal of the booths was the most damaging. As the Zona Rosa was not near the border, but the tourists were, the combination strip-club/brothel, that has worked so well in other border towns, was highlt impaired, not killed off, but made more expensive. Mexinomics had more to do with their decline than the real economy.

My Sources tell me that a lot of business men in Nogales are irate at the Municipal government, for the decline of a lot of tourists The curtailing of the strip clubs on the border was supposed to bring in more investment in those area. Instead things have gone backward. There is REAL interest, among a substantial amount of business leaders that an improve Zona Rosa closer to the border, a bit more restrictive that the classic Zona Tolerencia and classier (a La Vegas) would attract a lot more tourists. But they are drowned out because of the concern over the Drug Lords presence in this industry that would bring in more violence.

Right now, strip clubs are a visible reminder of the vice business fueled by sex and drugs. As the violence escalates, so does an inverse tolerance to vice, including strip clubs.

Right now, owners of the clubs are keeping a low profile and things there will get a lot worse before they get better.

I believe that when the powers that be in Nogales really understand that a vibrant sex tourist industry can be tolerated and depended upon to deliver hard-earned foreign currency, things will change for the better.

The alternative is to go to a very strict no-tolerance policy to all vices,and as the drug war violence escalates, unfortunately, this may come into favor, much to our detriment.

Orgngrndr: What Zona Rosa?

Only one true brothel has ever been discussed in the Nogales section and reports were overwhelmingly negative.

There were rumors last year about moving vice to the truck port of entry a few miles west, but nothing ever happened in that regard.

I do not know what involvement drug gangs have in strip clubs, but the only way to get rid of bad actors is to legalize vice with sensible regulations. That is hard to do when religous nutjobs keep getting in the way!

The Zona Rosa is centered around the "La Conga" brothel. At one time, about 14 years ago, there were three different "clubs" in the general vicinity. Except for one, they were all pretty third world. The streets were not paved, it was not safe to park your car anywhere on the streets, unless you had mexican plates, or paid somewhere for parking. I do not believe anyone from this board (except me) ever went to any except La Conga, although I remember some older gentlemen from the old Redsnake board frequenting them. I believe that is where I got my original info (and from a taxi driver) When the strip-clubs caught on close to the border, most of the semi-good looking ones went there. Only the real fuglies remained and mostly for the locals. The area is several blocks and close to a half a mile plus from the border, most go by taxi, but I hoofed it a few times just for the exercise. At one time La Conga had a few gems,and their may still be some, but no one from this board bothers to visit anymore. The other brothels are probably gone. Your best source of info is older taxi drivers (tips make them remember) as they do not receive anything for bringing potential patron their, there is little incentive. The Zona Rosa in Nogales is mostly lower class, and as a border-town Zona Rosa, probably rates as the worse. Even Naco's is better!

Went there in 2006 and walked from border to what I believed was the end of town during late afternoon. Saw the two major nightclubs and one semi-decent motel, but overall the town was more dead than dying. It may have been a blessing that I did not find a zona rosa there.

On the other hand, the zona rosa in Agua Prieta is someplace I have been to twice. Pickings were pretty slim in 2006 and only fat old fuglies in 2008.

They need to get Calderon out of office. There is too much chaos in Mexico right now. The average whitey will not go. The little town of Nogales is on Fox News every night now. Too much negative press.

The only thing being peddled in Nogales are pharmaceuticals. Even those are getting expensive.

yeah i still go to the clubs at night, the trick is to go with confidence and don't show your scare. And you should just head strait to were you want to go. And it helps if you go with some one else to have your back.
