I just want to vent here for a second and say how fucking sick and tired I am of the street pimps who follow you around, trying to get you to go into a club so they can get a commission, and then try and get you to tip them.

Maybe I am getting old (hell, I am old) but my tolerance for these little fuckers is wearing thin.

I know where Rio is, I can find Placers on my own. Same for Titanic, la Conga, and Motel 26.

Last trip, near Lord blacks, after one of these guys followed me across the tracks while I kept telling him to go away, I finally stopped in the middle of the street and screamed at him to get the fuck aways from me. (I know, not a smooth move!).

Then I went into Lord Blacks and made a point of telling them that he did not bring me there and in fact had scared away two of my friends. I suspect that killed his commission for the night.

no, not a smooth move, with these people it could come back on you. It's the few I don't know that give me trouble. lately I have wanted to yell too. I just ask then how long they have been in Nogales, then tell then if they need any advice on clubs or bars i will help them out. then get out my phone book and ask them if they need any girls to work. most of the time they walk away.

I was in Nogales on Sunday. Walking from the Rio I was walkig around by obsessions checking the SG scene and of course a "friend" started asking me what I needed, sex, drugs, etc....I usually just tolerate them until I get where I am going.

This time I told the guy I did not need anything and I knew where I was going..by the time I got to the main street that you cross to get to Cherries, Placers, etc, I guess I said something that pissed him off...He said well F.U. then and did not cross the street with me...(so I thought)...I crossed the train tracks and was walking down the street , (I always walk on the street side of the cars in unpopulated areas)..My friend was running up behind me all friendly like...As he was walking up behing me he was trying to get me to stop so he could tell me something...(I kept walking)..I noticed that he now had a friend with him. Then it happened, I saw another guy appear from the train tracks. He was walking at an angle to cut me off and looking right at me...I knew what was comeing, and right before he started to run in front of me to cut me off, I took off like a track star....He took a swing at me but missed. I made it to Lord Black's .....but now I was a little pissed and nervous...I went inside for a while and when I came back out I noticed that they were still hanging around by the taco stand on the other side of the street...I decided to sport the $5 for a cab ride back to the Rio...(where I had a great time with Paula)...

I am going back to what I used to do...just tolerate them play dumb and let them think they are doing you a favour...tip them a dollar and let them go on their way...

P.S. crossing those damn train tracks is just about the only place that makes me nervous.

That sucks, man. You don't hear about stuff like that happening much in Nogie, but I guess it can happen. BTW, I walk down the street and around the corner (towards the border) instead of crossing those tracks - too scary...

I noticed that route during the cab ride..I will start walking that way...I never have liked walking across those tracks..(and it is not a fear of getting hit by a train)

I do not know anyone from phoenix that goes to Nogales...(cant really tell anyone that I go type of thing) so I have to go by myself...It is a 2.5 hour drive but it is totally worth it...beats the $5 and 10$ "NO TOUCH" table dances in phoenix....and you can drive easily for two hours before finding a SG in Phoenix that first is worth it and second won't try and rip you off...you can spend $150 and get a half hour massage and hand job....(or you can get laid 3 times in Nogales)

I just wish there were places like TJ has "Adelitas, CC etc" that had hotels right next door.......someday

do you know if there is a way to find out if any of those girls ever make trips to Phoenix and how to contact them???

Go with friends when possible and if not, try to have some down there. They come in handy.

I go down every few months, and will probably be going within the next 30 days or so. I'll let you know when....usually a weeknight, down and back.

Azswinguy, post here a day or two before you go. I'd say 1/2 the time someone will contact you about riding along. It's fun to have someone to discuss the night with on the ride home.

Azswinguy, I go down to Nogi from Phoenix - every time it has been down and back same night - next time i am going to try and spend the night - but BL is right just post a couple of days before and you might be surprised - i have never had any bad experiences - i do think it is a good idea to tip a buck or two just to keep it that way - i also just walk in the traffic - i worry less about being hit than what might happen

There are many new guys on the street. Some of them not very friendly. I will not let then take me to a club, but do talk to them, get to know them. Sometime they will bring you a girl you want. I had three girls from the Negro sat. night for 20.00 each. I went out to a club about 12 and got back to the hotel about 6am. they were still there.... They stayed until noon no extra charge.

In my opinion I would stick to Jesse. Some of these other guys are very unprofessional, not to mention unknown.

Well guys, I was down in Nogi this weekend and ended up spending most of my weekend in the same hotel as a few of the street pimps. (If you want to call them that - one of the guys seemed to focus on getting people prescriptions and medicinas.) Got to spend a lot of time talking with them. Kind of odd discussing Einstein's theory of relativity and time dilation effects with a street pimp, but I digress...

For anyone looking for street girls, I've got a guy to recommend. There's a gringo named Chris - young skinny blond white guy with a goatie from the US. He's been living down there for about a year, and the way he gets by is pimping in the streets. He knows where to find the girls (and which girls aren't really girls), he speaks perfect English, and enough Spanish to be helpful, and he's not out to rob you. He's just trying to make enough to get by day to day. (That seemed to be a pretty common element among *everyone* I met this weekend - living hand to mouth on a day-to-day basis).

So if you're looking for a girl off the street and don't mind parting with an extra $20 to make your search go a little better/faster, you can go to Hotel Carillo - a little hole in the wall diagonally down the street from La Jungla, and ask if Chris is there (you'll have to go up the stairs to get to the front desk - if you can call it that). If he's there, I'm sure he'll be happy to help hook you up with whatever you're looking for. And I told him I'd post this, so he won't be shocked if you tell him you read about him here.

Just curious, what is the quality of his "finds" like?
I saw some s.g.'s and lots of t.v.'s on the street Saturday night. Not too good looking.

I have a ripoff warning to post. Apparently Alex that works around Placer's has some criminal tendencies. He left with one persons money. I guy I met last night had all of his cd's stolen out of his truck by him. For whatever reason he had this guy's truck keys.
