Anyone ever been to any of these small border towns? San Luis, Sonoita, Aqua Prieta, Guadalupe, Ojinaga, Piedras Negras, Reynosa.. all small towns, just wondering if they have contain any action?

Matamoros: Should you want to check out action on 10th (Diez) Street, here are some comments. Exit the southbound Interstate at Highway 44, to the right (west) and immediately turn Left (Palm). Go to what appears to be the end of Palm, just past a big shopping center and turn left, which street leads to the border. There is no formal parking lot, but you can park at the convenience store $2.17 for 4 hours. On Foot, the bridge is 25 cents going over and 30 cents comming back.

Once you cross the bridge you are on a street which curves gently to the right, with a raised railroad track to the left. Walk until you cross a railroad track (which is ground level), then turn right. Start watching the numbers of the streets until you get to 10th. Then turn left and start looking. Note that the numbered street names are usually spelled out. If you do not cross the railroad track before you turn, you may end up on the wrong side of a rail yard which starts about 6th street and runs for a couple of miles.

It is only a 10 or 15 minute walk to 10th street. Returning, there was absolutely no wait at about 9 PM on a Saturday.

Hiland, you wrote a very sad trip report about my town, Matamoros. 10th steet is indeed full of SW's, but the best action is in the clubs. Next time go to Paradise Men's Club. But take a taxi. You won't be disappointed.

I don't know why Matamoros doesn't have its own title here, instead of under small towns. Unless a million people make it small. There are many topless bars here, and hundreds of girls on the streets. Plenty of action for me.

Recently visited Esqueda, a very small town south of Agua Prieta. It is so small that it has only one motel and one cantina next to the motel. The cantina had a sign outside that said "Ladies Bar". Nuevo Progreso. There is only one club in Nuevo Progreso's BT. I was not there at the proper time of the night to comment on quality. To get to BT, take the main street leading off of the bridge an travel until you pass over the toll road. Circle to the left like you are going to Matamores, but turn down a gravel road just before the toll booth. BT is about 1/2 mile down the road. The compound is very visible in day light, but you want to go late at night. Cabs are hard to find, especially in BT, so you may want to arrange for your driver to come back to pick you up.
