Just wanted to relate a bad experience I had at Platino's. This place usedto be downtown years ago bt movd to a new building on the outskirts of town where they do not bnefit from the crowds from the square.

The chicas are beautiful, and beers $3 or so for yourself. When the chicas come sit with you of coutse. they ask if you will buy thema drink, in which case they will hang out and allow groping etc. Drinks for the chicas are $10/pop which of course they don't tell you, however it is a common enough system to the initiated.

However business is so bad now tha Platinos will bring drinks to the chicas withut asking, and start a tab. Fortunately I was on a recon of the new facility anf stayed only for a $20 lap dance and left soon after. As I left the concierge tried to stop me saying I owed $10 for the lady...I kept walking to the parking lot and was soon surrounded by four hefty staff dspite my politely stating I was there for only diax minutos anbd did not the chica any drinks.

Well I could care less about $10 but being stone sober I held my ground on pricincipal and requested they call the policia. This they did and while waiting four other gringos came out (quite sauced) and I asked them for a ride, melding in with their groupe (BIG Texans, god blees 'em).. i told thge scam, and they said they got taken for $400 the night before and were pissed (why did they return????) Anyway the Policia wee obviously on very "friendly " terms with the establishment and also spoke no Ingles at all... By politely standing my ground and reiterating a misunderstanding etc the concierge gave in faced with f gringos over $10, after which the manager came out and started insisting all over again very loudly...so I told him the concierge had already asceded and jumped into the Texans jeep and drove away...

Anyway , even the Taxistas will tell you Platino's staff is bad...Go to the Black and White forequaly beautiful chicas without the scam
(same drink for chica deal but no rip-offs0 or go to Carribean Queen for the brothel experience (highly recommended)...
