Hey,
Was wondering what the legal age was to enter/drink in the strip clubs. I've been down many times but was thinking about bringing my 16 year old brother. Could I probably get away with this and what would be the penalties IF caught???

The legal drinking age in Mexico is 18 and anyone entering a bar must be that age. I have seen them check IDs upon entering from time to time. Don't know the penalty for getting caught...

Good to know, Xenono ... I do now remember seeing ID's checked at a couple of clubs last time I went, cant remember which ones. Anyway, we'll be down in Green Valley this weekend so it might be worth a shot considering the short drive.

A little bribe will work well if you are denied. The pimps can get you in because they know everybody. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Many years ago when I was 16 I made an ID by typing it on a typewriter. Zooming it up on a Xerox machine. Adding some logos and a picture. Then reducing it on a Xerox machine and laminating it. It was pretty obviously fake but was certainly good enough for any occasion I was ID'd at any TJ bar. More often than not I was not ID'd though.
