This place is owned by the same people of the Obsession, Prestige and Casio.
Small, dark and seedy, it has sometimes up to 15+ girls, more willing to have fun with the clients in a place not so expensive as the Obsession or even the Casino.
Prices for privados are 50 pesos per song and the most expensive drink for a girl is 70 pesos for a full can of beer, compared to other places where they charge you up to 140 pesos for the same.

Regio, they charge 140 pesos at the other places because they are a lot nicer than this bar. This is a middle tier bar, nada mas. Some of the girls are decent looking, but I didn't care for the aggressive drink pressure, though two gringos (I played tour guide Friday night) probably get mistaken for idiots. Unless you want to sit around buying drinks all night, I think you can do better for your money than this place.

Oh, make no mistake, I don't at all MIND talking to girls and it's not a waste of time. But I REFUSE to pay outrageous prices purely for that privilege. What it IS wasting is MONEY! If I buy a drink they better be raping me in the booth.

Right after you left Friday night, a nice looking chica with big natural tits came over and plopped her ass down right next to me and started telling me how pretty I am, etc. Of course it didn't take 30 seconds for a waiter to make his way over. The waiter kind of raised his eyebrows at her and she nodded, and 2 minutes later a pony beer magically appeared in front of her. Nobody said a WORD to ME about it. I politely told the waiter, 'uh, who ordered this?' He said, 'ella'. I responded that nobody asked ME first, and he asked if I wanted it or not. I said if she had asked, maybe, but since she didn't, HELL NO! The girl's mouth dropped open and she stormed away in a huff. I laughed my ass off!

10 minutes later our friend was getting soaked for a jarra in a similar manner at Excalibur while I was declining to buy an overprices ficha drink to shoot the shit with his girl's friend. Regio, I simply don't understand you guys that sit around and buy drinks all night (and for weeks on end) and never get more than a peck on the cheek for your pesos. IMO this is one step up from 1-900 phone sex numbers? Uh, assuming you even TALK about sex while plying chicas with fichas!

The longer I am involved in this game, the more I notice my opinions, attitudes, and strategy for success changing.

I agree that this drink buying thing can get a little too expensive at times. I agree that there are times that I feel like what I am getting in return from some of the girls is just "a peck on the cheek".

But, I have also learned that I must make an investment to find the girls that are worth "knowing," and this requires me to buy them drinks to get to know them well enough to know whether they are worth spending more money on.

But, my most recent strategy is to delay the drink buying long enough to determine if the girl is a keeper. This requires the girl to make a real effort with me, which helps me determine whether there is any chemistry between us, or whether she is only trying to get my money. If there is no chemistry, then why spend the money on her.

But, lately, before I buy them a drink, I try to make them work for it first. They must demonstrate patience, and a certain degree of discipline in doing their jobs well, or they do not get my full attention. I define "doing their jobs well" as making me think they are really interested in me, and willing to give me a lot of attention. If they can not do their jobs well, they should not receive the opportunity to make any money. You wouldn't tip a bad waiter or waitress in a restaurant. It's about the same kind of thing. The girls are there to make us feel like we are something special. If they don't make me feel special, I don't want to spend my hard earned money on them. They should have to earn it just like we do. I have to bend over backwards to please my customers, and they should be held to no less of a standard. So, now, if I am disciplined enough, I try to make them demonstrate their abilities before I spend too much on drinks, especially Jarras, which can get totally out of hand. But, on the other hand, if I find one that is worth spending time with, I will buy her a number of Jarras, and be with her for several hours. But, if I make that kind of financial commitment, I am enjoying myself and I don't look at it as wasted money.

But, I think you have to be prepared to play their little game if you are going to eventually realize a decent return on your investment. You may have to buy some drinks if they are giving all the right signals.

But, I also think you must know what you want too. Some of us are "hit'n run" and some seek situations that play out over a longer period of time than a "hit 'n run" session. Some of us are in it for more romantic and mushier reasons. In my case, it is the thrill of the hunt, and the satisfaction of getting the girls to see me away from the clubs, and preferably without any additional cost. Of course, cost is relative. If you make these girls a "Novia," you can expect to be spending money on them just like it was for real. Because, sometimes it is for real, or at least as real as it can get when you only visit Monterrey once a month like I do. Just my humble opinion...

Want to know a more satisfying and cheaper option to sort the wheat from the chaff? Take a bunch of them for privados as a 'test drive' instead of buying them drinks -- the price will be the same or even less if you stop at one privado. The ones that are hot for you will show you how they will 'bend over backwards' for you in the privado booth. THEN buy them a drink or two and discuss your future together.

You are exactly right Porker...I have been trying that out on this trip I am on now, and you´re right, it is cheaper, and you find out real fast where their heads and hearts are. If they are interested, they show it. Or, if they are good, they show it. Also, if they are the ones who do nothing, whether they are interested or not, you find it out real fast without spending too much.

Harems had a nice selection of hotties as well. The negative of this place is the high pressure of management to pawn a girl off on you and then hound for drinks. This is a real turn off for me and definately will not earn a repeat visit.

I don't know why I ever give this bar yet ANOTHER chance. Regio's the greatest guy in the world, but his attraction to this place is simply bizarre.
