any street girls and where they work at

I've been going there for awhile, even for some legitimate touristing, been all over the downtown area and I've never seen even one SG. They're either at that brothel that I've forgotten the name of, or at the clubs.

There are three ways of procuring young street girls. Ask any cab driver, many of them are pimps. Go straight when crossing the border going south and they hang out at the taxi stand. Finally, ask for my buddy Jesse at Placers. He is a barker that can get you anything you want. Good hunting.

Go past Rio and turn right at the next calle--I think it is Suarez.

About halfway down the block there are a bunch of cheap hotels and many will be decorated by chicas in the doorway.

I tried one--check it out under the "Pimps" thread.

I think that is the street that Obsessions is on.

The last time I went to Obsessions, there were a few girl hanging out by the sidewalk next door and around the parked cars.

I remember seeing a really good-looking chica in a fairly sexy outfit standing between some cars, she waved at me, but as I was heading to Rio's from obsessions, I just waved back. Still it might be something to explore. I still don't like the idea of going into some of those hotels though.

I feel totally safe when I used to get SG in TJ, but here in Nogales, I don't have that same confidence, so until I get some good reports or get a good wingman, I'll just stay with the clubs.

Any info on prices for SG's? Someone mentioned some prices in another thread (forgot where), but they seemed way too high. I will try to check it out next time I go. I'm not worried too much about safety - Nogie is an order of magnitude safer than TJ, so I wouldn't be too worried. Especially since the SG's are so close to the tourist and club areas.

MrBill--The report was in the "Pimps" section. I don't know how it would go if you just walked up to one of the SG and did your own bargaining.

With the "help" of one of the pimps it was 15 for hotel and 65 for the chica that the pimp got. That is way too much for me to try it again.

The hotel reminded me a lot of some of the ones that the SGs use in TJ--pretty basic and dingy. I felt pretty safe all the way through, but my experience was during the day.

Well, I tried to do my duty as a good monger and look for SGs along the few blocks surrounding Rio's (where they're supposed to be?) But no luck. Saw plenty of hotels, but no putas. It was 3:30 AM on a busy Saturday night, so maybe that is why (?). It was also a VERY strange night (see my trip report later today) - so maybe that was why? Who knows. I won't give up, however. I got 200 pesos just burning a hole in my pocket, baby...

The SG's seem to contentrate in two areas. Some of the "lower level" ones hang out at the Taco stand on the corner of Rios and Obsessions. Probably looking for tourists coming out of Obsessions.

The best of the rest hang out on Obregon (one block West, a North/South boulevard). They usually start one block south (first photo/donkey cart) and can stretch as many as 10 blocks south, depending upon factors that I haven't figured out yet. The time window seems to be narrow, starting at about 9 p.m. and ending several hours later. Many of the girls seem to be looking for a single shot and they then go elsewhere.

Diabetic - what time of day/night are you likely to find the SGs at the taco stand outside Rio? How can you be sure they're SGs?

I also walked a few blocks South on Obregon Thursday 8:00 PM, but didn't see any there, either. And still no luck on the block West of Rio's. Hmmm...

I made the mistake of trying an SG tour with a street barker, but I think his interests lied elsewhere - kept trying to take me to Conga or Tecolote's.

I think I'm looking in the right places, but just at the wrong times (?).

Go to the taxi stand across from Rios. Talk to the taxistas and tell them what you want. They will then drive you around and let you scope out the women before you actually pick them up.

That taco stand across from Rios attracts SGs who want to get a bit to eat. Usually after 10 p.m. Same with the taco stand south on Obregon.

Most of the street action starts after 9 p.m., but sometimes you can get some daytime action just by walking up and down Obregon making eye contact and smiling. Good way to catch club girls on their way to work.

Was by Nogales Friday 11/9, sometime after dark, probably about 8-9, and was - again - trying to get some idea what goes on at Tecolete -- an obviously busy place, but also somewhat alien with a bunch of local-looking gents on the street milling around the entrance. Was walking on Obregon, northbound, and saw a likely-looking (plenty sexy, wearing tightish jeans and top - but "sensible shoes" not sexy heels, and a not so innocente look, if you get my drift) senorita talking with a gent on the corner of Obregon and Ochoa (the street where Tecolete is found); our eyes met as I passed, which gave me pause.

Walked on about a half-block, stopped and turned back. She was still on the corner, but the gent was gone. I've been warned that approaching females on the street can be dangerous, in that an offended female may have recourse with the policia (contacts in tavernas - no problem, but street contacts iffy ...). Anyway, again the eye contact, so I (smile and) say something innocuous, and almost immediately, we're into negotiations. She has a hotel room within walking distance, and wants $100 for an hour.

She's attractive, but not $100 material. She's down to $80 immediately, and then to $60 in response to my offer of $50. I'm a bit nervous about the hotel idea anyway, and say perhaps otra vez, and start to slip away; then the $50 is ok. My spanish is pretty pobre, but we talk some on the walk to the hotel, and she is friendly - no hard feelings about the negotiations. The hotel is a bit of a walk - maybe six or seven blocks to Obregon and Torres, where we turn west and walk most of a block to a hotel on the north side of Torres with a female behind the desk - and another kinda hot number (again, dressed in jeans) talking to her; no men in sight.

Sure enough, we go on up without having to pay for a room. She gets out a key and wants me to open the door; I don't feel real comfortable about that, so I manage to fumble. She can't do it either, and calls down the stairs to the desk girl, who comes up and opens it, while I stand back looking in. Empty - whew! TV on.

Actually was a very positive experience. She was a little careful about touching, etc., but did not hesitate to do a cbj (I had insisted on $50 in part because I was afraid I'd have to go another 10 later for oral -- which I hate to bargain for on the street). Room was adequate, especially given the price, and did not encounter other life forms within (tho did not look overly hard for same).

Beats the hell out of the club closets, even if the senorita was not a raving beauty - she had no difficulty interesting me in business, and was a sexy companion, if not outright affectionate. My spanish did not allow for a great deal of friendly banter, but that was my fault - not hers. I have had a couple encounters at La Conga, and am not turned off by the place; this occasion was on a par with that - not as expensive, nor as hurried. Better attitude than one of the Conga senoritas, but not as good as the other; no drinks required.

I would not hesitate to repeat, and certainly am curious about what luck one could have simply going straight to the hotel on Torres. Also, what the hell IS the deal with Tecolete, anyway????

Thanks for the report. Slowly but surely, details of the anemic Nogales street scene are coming to life. I finally managed to see a couple SGs on my last couple trips down there. Almost bit both times, but was saving them for "plan B". Both times they were w/in a block of Rio, near calle Obregon. Neither one looked too bad... The one I saw last night was tall and wearing a nice dress and looked, dare I say it, a tad elegant... (Did I say that?)

That's a good point about just dropping in one of those 'love motels' and inquiring - I can't imagine they'd throw a fit or anything, but who knows...

You're so right... those six-minute closet fucks just don't cut it!! Not for the 'romantic types' like MrBill anyway!

BTW, re: Tocolote - I haven't tried to score there yet, but have wandered in and out a time or two. By way of other Nogie mongers and the "tour guide" who took me to La Conga, it is apparently something akin to a ficha bar (?) - or at least there are working girls in there, that's for sure. I suppose it probably caters more to locals, but why should they have all the fun? I imagine I'll drop in there one of these days for a "plan C" chica and report back. For some reason, I seem to sometimes follow Uncielto's footsteps. Anyone, curious about his last posting here, I decided to check out the street girl scene. Mind you this was on a Tuesday night. Mostly local men and older women inside. No site of the lookers I had seen. So, I decide to pop into Tecolote, there they were, along with prolly 20 others. A few men, mostly women. I saw a waitress (Cynthia) that had made the club circle in Nogi for the past couple years. I sat with here and learned the following: Most everybody there, including her work at Ferni's. They had an electrical problem that night and had to shut down and were sent to Tecolote to finish their shift. Tecolote and Ferni's are owned by the same person. No floor show actively going on. Lady drinks were $6.00, privates $20.00, everything else pretty much the same.
Needless to say, I did not finish the s.g. pursuit which I plan to in the near future.
