A trip report of sorts........
I have the good fortune of being in Mexico every week,,, most of my time is spent in Ensenada but two or three times a year business takes me to San Luis Rio Colorado,,,,, San Luis is located about 30 miles south of Yuma Arizona,,, and it is , in my opinion "Hell On Earth"........it's all desert,,,,,,, few trees and anything more the a mile from the border is dirt or sand roads.... anyway, since my business in San Luis is basically one of coffering someone there and waiting around for two days I decided to check out the action in town.
The setup in town is much more spared out then that of TJ or Ens. After you cross the border you go one short block to Av. Obrigon or hwy 2 which starts in TJ and basically stretches all the way across Mex,,, kind of like Interstate 8. Once at the light 95% of the town is to your left...so my first stop was at a place called Rio Bar, between third and forth on Obrigon. It was a little before seven on a Friday night.... the girls were just coming on duty so there was about 15 girls and one guy,,, me....... at the time I didn't know this was the main chica bar in town so I left looking for more...... the lay out in town is pretty simple, as you travel east on Obrigon it's only one block north to the border, all the bars in town are either on Obrigon or on the little side streets to the left.... I went in to most if not all of them and they all had pretty average stuff........ I did hit three strip bars, One located on 19th street,,,, 4 bucks to get in, 4 dollars a beer (7 oz Tecate only),, 8 for chica drink’s ... way over priced but girls did revile TJ girls........ second one was on 6th street and was pretty nice,,, no cover and lots of high-end stuff,,,,,,, 11 bucks for a table dance,,, 16 for a private room...... I didn't bother to take down all the names because if you go to the street I mention you can't miss them.... one more was the newest in town,,, second street called Wow-Wow...... didn't bother to go inside because it just reek of money and high end shit,,,,,,
Anyway I ended up back at Rio Bar and had a few drinks with a nice girl called Silvia,,,,,, her asking price for one hour was 80.00 bucks....... I didn't negotiate because I hadn't planned on taking anyone to begin with,,,,,,, while I was there I noticed a girl who looked exactly like a girl I used to see from Anthony's in Ens.........very pretty, very small and a smile to kill for...... she touched to close to home so I let it be and called it a night around one in the morning........ thought the entire night I didn't see one girl anywhere exit with a guy..........
Day two,,, Saturday...... I took off early because I wanted to catch the Oklahoma / Nebraska game ,,, about noon I headed over to Rio Bar and I was please to find I had the whole place to myself which included the remote control,,,,, 20 to 10, Nebraska,,, yeah baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,,,,, I was in & out of Rio Bar all day,,, never saw anything to write home about and few to run from.... I went back about 6 thinking I'd have a few beers and watch the 7:00 o'clock shift start then leave and get a good nights sleep. When I walked in there was that real cute one,,,, I tried for an hour to pronounce her name and couldn't so lets call her Juanita for the sake of this report...... I waited about an hour before starting to talk to her, it was across the corner of the bar so I got away with out buying her a drink,,,,,, same old story,,,,,, "my first week here bla bla bla"........ she then said it was her birthday,,, I invited her to have a drink and make small talk........ never talked to her about sex or leaving with me but she did look a little sad because it was her birthday and she was stuck there for the night....... I asked her if she liked to dance and I thought she was going to orgasm.... ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I love dancing.......... I said ok, lets go dancing, you and me,,, we'll hit a disco and dance all night long......she said,,,,,, really!!!!!!!!!!! no problem , lets go,,, she said okay but I have to get permission,,,,,,, no problem,,,, she went and talked to the boss and came back with a frown....... she says I can't go for more then one hour just like the hotel, if I do I can't work for a week............to make this long story a little shorter I just told her,,, hey look,,,,, if you want to go dancing you'll find a way out of here, if you walk out of here and make a right, go to the first block and make another right and go one more block there is a Pharmacy....... I'll be in front of that place in one hour,,,,,,, your there, we go dancing, your not, I go home and go to bed, the only thing is is this is not a trip to the Hotel and I'm not paying you, it's your birthday, that's it........Okay, you can probably figure out the rest by the title I gave this but after hitting a few mores bars and eating a couple of hotdogs I was ready to go home and sleep, I drove past the pre-set meeting place thinking there was no way she would be there but there she was. She had changed out of her pant suit and was in a little black mini-skirt and a matching spaghetti strap top...... she jumps in and off we go,,,,,, I said, how did you get out,,,,,,, she said, I started my period,,,,,,, "not really"...........we settled in at the second disco we hit and I dropped her off at 3:30 this morning,,,,,,,,, both of us so drunk we could barley walk.......... the night yielded a small kiss,,, a heart felt hug,,,,, and a friendship,,,,,,,, next time I won't mind going back to San Luis so much...........

I just got back from a trip to San Luis this weekend and I want to make some corrections on the message tequila Please wrote. San Luis is not as bad as I thought as a matter of fact it was a pritty good trip. Though I must admit, it was hot ass hell out there.
Anyways, I did go to a strip joint called Guau, Guau (not wow, wow)that is located on 5th st.(calle 5, by the boarder line) and the place was small but very packed. The female were very young compared to La Cascada which is located on 19th st. (calle 19). There was about 4 fine looking girls and about 3 very petite cute girls. They must have been at least 17 years old but with tight little bodys. Surprisingly enough one of them was a very cute asian girl. The prices for the drinks were not bad at all. A beer was 25 pesos for a full bottle not those 7 oucers. Admission was 20 pesos... I was only there for a little while but I did get enough info while I was there.

She is a nice girl and I really recommmend her but unfortunatly she does not fuck. Though I did find out that there is girls who do for $100 but you have to ask them without offending them. Back when stationed at Yuma, we would visit SLRC. There were pleny of good night clubs in the main part of town. But if you wanted any action you would have to find an area that we called "boys town". It was/is located about 6 miles east of the border travelling on Obregon you'd eventually make a right onto a dirt road a little past the "OK Fans Club", drive about another 3 miles into a huge cul-de-sac area. You could park anywhere and bar hop top each and every dive. The setting was like the Old West. the Best chicks (and only TV's) would work at the PlayBoy club. I have seen some of those girls working at the Zona in TJ. Does anyone know if this place still exists? The last time I was there was in 1991.

Not that I know of. San Luis has changed a lot. Now there is a couple of small strip joints that are pritty good. Once in a while you'll find street girls but lately there hasn't been. Sol1899 what exactly went on back in those day by O.K.? I remember O.K.'s but now it called something else but across the street there is a high end dance club with a lot of hotties but some can be stuck up due to being the daughter of some type of businessman. Check out Miau Miau strip joint, you'll have a good time (get a private dance for $20, worth the $$$).

A few weeks ago I was in a Club in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora. I can not remember the name but it is on the main strip "Calle Obregon". There were about 10 girls working and one at a time they would go on stage to kind of strip, most would just dance kind of sexy. If you wanted a lap dance you would pay $20 and you would go in these tiny rooms with a curtain and a security gaurd would stand outside. The girls let you pretty much, suck and grab what you wanted during the song. On the average the place was o.k. and the beer was expensive. The girls ranged from mostly 4's and 5's but there were two 10's that were occupied most of the night by some high rollers.

That club was Club Cascada, instead go to Guah Guah.

I have a silly question. What is the difference between Los Algodones and San Luis Rio Colorado?

So are you saying Algodones is in Baja and San Luis is in Sonora? I am assuming they are on opposite sides of the Colorado River. How do you get to each of them? Which is better?

The difference is that the river devides the two states. Los algodones is an extremely tiny town, basically a town to enjoy the food and to buy souvenirs. San Luis is a different story, it's more of a smaller version of Mexicali. I personally like San Luis alot better.

Is it best to drive into San Luis or are the clubs walking distance from the border? Or is it like TJ where it's just easiest to get a taxi??

Loser - The clubs are close to the port entry. Within couple of hundred yards. Things are pretty quite at night in San Luis. You can park on the main street on AZ side without problem.

Has anybody heard anything about La Cascadas in San Luis?? I heard word of mouth that is awesome, but want to ask some of you pro's.

Thanks for the info. I finally made it down to San Luis last Wednesday. I only went to Gua Gua's. The cover was a whopping $2. The private dances were $22 and were for the full length of a song with the typical allowing of roaming hands and mouth. There were only about five girls working. The girls were very attractive compared to a lot of other places that I've been in Mexico. I was able to get full service in one of the closets for 140. I don't remember the girl's name. She said that she was 20 and from Hermosillo. She was a perfect ten in my book. Great body, great face and didn't speak english.
Overall, the place seemed kind of dull, but that might have been due to it being a Wednesday night and the first week of lent. I'll check out other clubs on my next visit.

Loser - You're welcome. $140 is the highest amount I have heard for closet sex. In Nogales it is only $50 for closet sex and I still think that sucks. Next time you might consider going to TJ. If you're traveling to San Luis, it might not be too much further for you. TJ have hotel rooms for $11 or $12 and sex for $50. Time is longer than a song.

140 was a bit outrageous, but she was the best looking girl I've come across in a mexican bar, and she had a great personality. I've been to TJ quite a few times. Unfortunately my work had me in Yuma, so I had to take what I could get. Next time I'll ask a taxi driver if there are any brothels.

I was in San Luis on a Thursday night a couple of weeks ago. I went to Rio Bar at about 10pm. It is located on the south side of Calle Obregon a couple of blocks after turning left from the road from the US border. It is clearly a local bar. I was the only gringo there. There was a little band playing which was pretty cool. There were only five girls working when I got there. Only one was attractive, but she was occupied with a couple of locals that were buying her drinks.
After a little while another attractive girl arrived. I bought her a few drinks and tried to talk to her with my very limited Spanish. She didn't speak any English. This place is the total opposite of TJ. The girls didn't approach me at all. I had to invite the girl over to my table. And she didn't broach the subject of going to a room, I had to. She charged 100 for an hour. The room ws 20 for an hour. The hotel is around the corner and had typical cheap rooms. The girl I was with was really shy and didn't seem like she was really experienced, but the overall experience was pretty good.
If you find yourself in Yuma, this isn't too bad of a place to check out if you prefer a more laid back atmosphere.

$5.00 will get you in. As you come in, there is a big bar on the left side, a center stage area for the girls right ahead and some booths and VIP on the left side. The VIP area was nothing more than a booth with a curtain in front of it. There was a guy by the booth that keeps track of time. The atmosphere is that of a classy strip joint. Furniture looked new. A waiter approached me and I asked him to give me a general Idea about the prices. They were as follows.

Soft Drinks.- $ 2.00
Beer.- $3.00 -5.00 (depending on the brand)
Lap dance.- $5.00
VIP (6 minutes).- $20.00
Girl for 1 hour.- $130.00
You can take the girl back to the Hotel room. The time starts the minute the guy at the door gets the money.

There were 2 motels less than 100 yards away from the place.

The girls were about a 6 or 7. It is a no pressure atmosphere. I personally think that they are over priced.

Your last sentence was a bit of an understatement. I don't think that anyone living in San Luis makes $130 a month, so business for these chicas must be really slow.

I found this thread sort of by accident. A friend of mine, who only speaks Spanish and is originally from Mexicali, told me of this town. I'm just blown away there is such a thread.

I plan to monger there in a few weeks when he and I take a trip to see his family in mexicali. He said it's just like the Zona Norte in TJ there.

It is a classy, espensive strip club with hot chicks. Nothing special. There is a full-service massage parlor across the street though.

there are at least 4 strip clubs in San Luis. The best is a relatively new one called Medusa's. Make an immediate right when you cross over and you cant miss it. There is also cascada's and the booby trap. There is one more that is way off the beaten path of which I cant remember the name but It is more of the local's club. If I remember the name I will post.

Went to San Luis a fe weeks ago, and decided to hit my fav spots, cascada and medusas. Much to my dismay Cascadas was showcasing some good talent, but the booths in the back where you get the dances had been removed. which means you can get a table dance but no private shows. Bummer. Medusas was the same way, they have a private room that has cubbies, they used to have curtains on these cubbies and it was quite fun. But now those curtains are gone. Someone is cracking down.

I was in San Luis last week. Things are pretty dead because of the border crackdown, and I could swear that there weren't so many bars as a couple of years ago. Having said that, the selection of chicas in the bars near the border crossing is hit or miss. I ran into some FOB chicas in one bar, but they could be already gone.

Parking on the US side is available about 100 meters west of the border crossing, but the office closes about 7 pm.

There is only one motel on the US side, and its crappy, so you are better off parking on the US side, and staying in a motel on the Mexican side. I stayed in the Motel California, it was 420 pesos, and not bad.

I once was so bored in SLRC that I didn't make it the whole night and came back to the U.S. to sleep in my car. Little did I know that I had parked in an hourly lot earlier in the evening. When I woke up to leave in the morning they wanted like $150 to leave. I asked to speak with the manager and they told me he was next door in the grocery store. I pulled out of the lot and floored it for Phoenix. Never looked back. I am glad law enforcement did not get involved.

Given the limited income potential and the abusively hot summer temperatures, this is probably a destination where hot chicas come and go rapidly. So one week it may be next to worthless and a month later a few of the clubs are well stocked. That seems to be the pattern of the posts here and on other sites.

Anyhow Fueqoel I really enjoyed your report. I have some time on my hands these days and hope to visit a good amigo in Tucson this autumn with a border town tour along the way. I hadn't thought to check out SLRC but now if I make the trip, I will be sure to.

Looking forward to any further information that you post, especially if you know anything about acceptable accomodations near the clubs. I am somewhat disabled right now and unable to walk what others would regard as short distances from border parking lots to the club action...so I want to get an overnight bed as close to the action as possible. I am thinking about driving from SLRC to Nogales on the Mexico side of the border.

Depending on your car and your tolerance for risk, I did see a few hotels closer to the action. They either had parking in front of the hotel on the street (Obregon), or a 'semi-enclosed' lot, without the visible appearance of a security guard. San Angel is by far the nicest and safest (and most expensive) hotel in town. They also had the safe in the room, and since I was looking for TLN, that was critical.

I haven't driven to Nogales on the Mex side, but I've logged several thousand miles in Mex without incident. Probably a boring drive, but should be relatively safe. Others may have a differing opinion.

The best hotel value these days is Hotel Olivia in Nogales. It is close to the border and they have enclosed parking at no extra charge. You will spend about $40 and they have a bar and a restaurant. The room is good and overlooks Obregon. It is located about a block south of Sr. Amigos on Obregon.

i checked out this place at the worst time of the year, right after new years.. checked out Rios and reposo bar? Selection of chicas were limited , but there are many other local bars right near the border.. The ladies at Rio Bar all quoted $80 and the quality of the women were pretty low, so I passed.. I will send a more detailed trip report later in the month

went back again a few weeks back.. Check out rio bar, resposo bar and another one called Tonys.. quality of the ladies were average, any only a few gems , maybe one 8 -9 in looks for me. Most of the ladies quoted $80-$150 for FS for 30-60 minutes.. I checked out two massage parlors there, i forgot the names, but one of them is next to a midas in SLC.. the quality of the ladies were better, as good as Adelitas in TJ..
cost is $40 for room , which includes a massage table, shower, and lotions.. you can negociate with the lady , they start at $120 for 45 minutes, but you can talk them down to $60 -$80 for 30 minutes.. I had a pretty good experience for about $100 total. good gfe and shower afterward..

damn, i was in Mexicali last weekend and on Saturday we drove to SLRC for soccer match and after wards hit the street waiting for the after party. I guess we just weren't looking hard enough cause all we saw was Boobys, and didnt look too busy, we asked a couple of fellas about the joint and they told us it was a classy joint, full of TV's. so we cruised the street a few times, picked up some chickas and had some fun with them while we cruised. Once we got the party call we took them with us, fed them, gave them beers, and had some more fun. about 4 am they had to go home, we offered them a ride and some dough to buy themselves something, but they said no on both counts. shortly after we went back to Mexicali and called it a night, or morning i would say.
