This place is mostly a ripoff. Some girls do extras and others just plain don't. The privados dont have doors and there is some old poppy that walks around with a stick patrolling for sex. He can be paid off. The best idea is to arrange the girl to come to your room. I recommend the Mar-y-Sol on the way into town. They don't fuck with you there and it is $25.00. There is another club nearby called Dunas. I haven't been there yet. If you are adventurous like me and speak spanish. Go to the local bars, alot of the women turn tricks even though they might not be "professionals". I believe it is more of a cultural thing. You will find streetwalkers on the way to Plaza Las Glorias(beware of Transvestites and Transexuals, you might just have to kick someones ass.

Another update on Maus Maus or Gaus Gaus....anyway, a couple of old college friends said they went there in spring break...table dances were $8, privates were either $14 or $28....well my friend got a private for $28, and a dancer proceeded to jerk him off...Now here is where it gets interesting...The song was about to end, she asked my friend if he was finished, he said no, then, all of a sudden, another dancer comes in, like a tag team scenario, or like ( the Professional) and proceeds to jack off my friend....Then both girls disappear, and this old man comes in and says, ok you leave now!! kinda funny......

Here's an update. Dances here are still about $28 each. They do tend to last a fairly long time though. They had quite a few good looking women there this last weekend but YMMV. Plaza Los Glorias (expensive)charges $25 USD for extra people in the rooms per night.

I had no offers for extras while I was there but I do know some of the girls were doing hotel dates for around $100 an hour. While in the private rooms, I got everything from some stick shifting and skin to skin contact in the nether regions to the standard grinding and touching though all the ladies wanted your shirt off.

None of the girls seemed to speak very good English if that's your thing.

I can't say that extras were even available at the club. So, in summary, no extras offered, your milage may vary in the privates, hotel dates MAY be available, and the girls don't speak much English.

Went to Mau Mau this weekend. It was packed due to the race. Extras were offered and it seemed to be pretty standard price. $28 for a private dance, $100 for a BJ, $200 for full service. Way over priced, and would not budge on the price.

You phonetically spelled the name of the club correctly. There are clubs elsewhere in Sonora, Mexico with the same name (and owner?). The correct spelling is Guau Guau - pronounced: Wau Wau. But nothing like Wausau, Wisconsin.

BTW my brother visited from Wisconsin last winter and we had a great time at the Rocky Point Guau Guau. It may not be the best Mexico has to offer but it beats the hell out of rip-off joints in Milwaukee (or Wausau, I assume!).

Why not go to a local ATM and draw out some pesos? That way, the private dance will only cost you about $19 at the current exchange.

I was posting just the facts. I left out the math part figuring that a CH member such as yourself would see the beauty of the exchange at ATM rates.

Plus, I thought that a veteran might get some enjoyment in seeing latin economics at work.

I have lived in Mexico for 4 years and have this theory that the central bank in Mexico did what it could to maintain the exchange rate close to 10 to 1. I reason that since tourism is such a huge industry in Mexico and that the education level of the average Mexican is high school or lower, that the average mexican can divide by 10 or drop the zero in their heads without any problems. Dividing by 13 to 15 is a bitch.

Next time you are in mexico and they quote you in USD ask them how much in MXN. The look on their face as they do the math is priceless.
