What is the fastest driving route to Rocky Point from Ahwatukee, AZ. I take the I10 East to Maricopa Rd. to the 84N to the 8 East to the 85 south to the border. Anyone know of a "quicker way."

I am not sure of the Route numbers but friends of mine that come down from Phoenix do so through Gila Bend, across I-8 and to Ajo, then Why. From Why it's a straight shot to Sonoyta then R.P. .
Should be about a 5 hour drive.

It is a free zone. It is exempt of the deposit and the need for a tourist card and passport. I am pretty sure that deposit program only lasted for a few days and they realized the negative impact it would have on tourism.

Was a Guaw Guaw's over the Memorial Day weekend. Some very nice looking girls but pricy compared to Nogi. Perhaps that was due to how busy it was.

Don't know the current prices on table dances but the private dances were $28 and last about 10 minutes. The girl asked $150 for longer time in a different room including FS. $50 supposedly when to the house.

It doesn't seem worth the trip for just clubs considering how close I am to Nogi.

table dance is the price of your viagra card or $7-$8. Ive had a lotta fun there many times but it definetly is not cheap. Did you try the whore-bar called Crystals Palace? I also like goin to Mexican bars like Ranas Ranas lot of young Mexican chiks and they play Spanish-rock which is pretty cool, i think. Let me know if you tried Crystals or Ranas, or if there are any new clubs I should know about. thx

Foolish me, I forgot to read up before I left and didn't know about Crystals P. Of course, I don't know that I could have dragged my friends there anyway.

Spent most of my time at the clubs on the strip and liked Manny's the best. I'm told the Reef was really wild but wasn't sure how to get there without getting my little truck stuck.

I'd like to try some of the other places but my spanish is just way too poor at this point.

I visited Wau Waus a couple of weeks ago with three other friends. Pricey is right! I took on a vip ($28.00) from a silicone queen (I hate silly tits), she could not have been more distant from me without stepping out of the cubicle. She wouldn't let me touch her and did not let me even take my top off. What a rip off!! I guess I'm spoiled with the Nogales td action.
Next trip, we decided to look for Crystals (anyone have directions). The other places (Pink Cadillac, Manny's, Ranas, etc) are good if you can hang all night.

yeah, the way it used to work (back in april 99) the privates were only $14 in a little cubie...the dancers were topless, and you could feel and grope them and finger fuck them and just have some fun...Usually they would give you a quick hand job for a tip ($10-$20) Extras were pretty difficult, since you had some old guy who was security lurking around all the time..Then they changed it to $14 for a regular private (dancers kept their clothes on) and $28 for a nude private...Nogi, you mean to tell me that you paid $28 for a private dance and the girl wouldnt let you touch her and she kept her clothes on?? What a fucking ripoff... By the way, avoid the private dances and talk to the manager and get a dancer to go back to your hotel for $80-$100 for an hour...As far as Crystals Palace, it kind of hard to explain...I would just ask a taxi driver to take you there...the ladies usually give you full service for $40.....

Rocky point is not a Sex destination, in fact it sucks! If you want sex, go to Crystal Palace. Here is a foolproof way to find it: On your way to Rocky Point, take a right at the power lines a little ways before the "Bienvenidos" sign. The road is now recently paved. You will see the bar because of all the lights outside and all the windows. There is almost always a decent one there. If you don't see one, just kick back a while and some will file in. Only go to Guau Guau to set up a late night meeting. Also, if you are daring like me, go into the local bars and alot of the girls are for hire, they will give you the eye. One last hint for you, ask for taxi #12 and he can get you hookers to your room.

I would advise going to Crystals earlier in the evening. Ive been there twice, later in the evening, and there was nothin I would stick my dick in. However I spoke to a couple of older, drunk americans and they said the selection is better earlier. By the way how was Ranas, that place use to be smokin, wit hot Mex-chics. Last time I was there in Feb. it was dead, and I mean DEAD..............

Just spent the weekend at Rocky Point. I've gotta say that the place is a lot more fun after memorial day. Maybe it's because all the teeny boppers are gone. It's much more calm and relaxed.

Plaza Los Glorias is a very nice hotel. Very expensive but very nice. Expect to pay about $25.00 for "extra" people in the room. At least, that's what their sign says.

If you haven't been here, it's a nice vacation but not a real sex destination. I'll mention that more in my update on Guaw Guaw's.

Not much else to say. I didn't make it to Ranas or the Reef but Manny's is always nice. Lots of older women there hitting on my friend.

Anyway, was a good trip and I'll post more at the Guaw Guaw's discussion.

Well, concerning Hera, it will be as will be. My ATF currently is at Cherries anyway but I don't see her much. Nobody else seems to talk about her. I think she goes by Theodora. Not the best looking girl in the room but she just does something right for me.

Perhaps, when they legalize gambling in Mexico there might be more mongering activities in RP. Supposedly it is to be brought to a vote this year by the Mexican legislature, and the industry experts say there is a very good chance of it passing. When they do legalize gambling they will have (casinos)? at the border towns and the resort towns. Which will likely cause nookie prices to increase. There is an article in the online San Diego newspaper regarding this topic.

As for another brothel in RP. I dont know of any new ones. As you already know the best source of information is a taxi driver, they can let you know whats new and usually can hook you up with a dancer.

I am in RP a lot and I have not heard of any new brothels. I have recently heard that you can pick up working girls at a bar near the Pemex Station (second station as you come into town). I have not been there yet so I can’t comment on the quality. I am also unsure of the name, I will try to get more information on my next trip. Unfortunately I have not been in a position for such activities on recent trips. I was told that you can take a girl out of the bar for $50 an hour. I find that hard to believe considering the prices at the strip clubs though. Even Crystals is near that much for 20 mins and for generally mid to low quality. I am afraid to see what you would get if that were the price. As for picking up non-working or local amateurs, I would recommend Paraiso Del Desierto or Ranas Ranas. I prefer Ranas to Paraiso. Have had a couple of tough guy experiences in Paraiso but nothing but good experiences in Ranas. Both are almost exclusively locals, often few if any Americans in the place. There is a new club near Ranas called Bumaye (sp), very nice but not as popular yet—seems a little bit expensive for the locals. The girls that are in Bumaye though tend to be very good looking. You can find working girls in any bar where locals hang out. If you spend anytime in RP though, there is really no need to pay for it.

I agree with Husker. I used to spend a couple saturdays a month in Rana's Ranas. That place was great for scoring without paying.

I saw the new club across the street, but have not been in.

The crowds at Ranas Ranas, and probably the newplace are different that the Paraiso crowd. The Paraiso crowd seemed to be more Banda Norteno and down market, Ranas Ranas used to pull in the upper and upper middle class people. A little more contemporrary in dress and style.

As of today 10/20 the border is completely closed due to a group of disgruntled fisherman blockading the border over not being able to shrimp in some national park around Puerto Penasco. It may be best to avoid this crossing for a day or two or go the back way through Nogales.

Here's the story as I heard it from reliable sources: The local fishermen have been fishing the bay dry, so, the regulatory (gov't no less) agency on fishing pushed them out to the throat of the peninsula. Since it is far, they cannot return home every night (Sancho is having a blast meanwhile) and it is the wife's (wives?) that are protesting.
I was there last weekend and the one before, I heard this right from the fresh seafood sellers at the Malecon. The local radio station was blasting ads sponsored by the wives every 15 minutes or so.
So, fishermen are much like t.d. employees; they run their future dry a.s.a.p. and think not of tomorrow. Then, when someone tries to do something that will in time help them continue to benefit, they bitch and blockade roads (which seems to be a standard method to fix problems now-a-days).

They actually don't have to go all the way to the throat of the gulf, they just can't fish in the biosphere that surrounds the Colorado river Delta. They can go from Penasco all th eway to Mazatlan if they want. Dumb bastards will fish themselves right out work forever if they are not careful. I see the same damn thing in the Yucatan with the hardwood forests. But its hard to be an enviromentalist, if your frigging starving to death. And talk about shortsighted, a considerable amount of shrimp and fish that is caught is marketed to the touristas and the restauraunts that cater to them. Blocking the highway is negative publicity that will decrease tourism, thus adversely impacting one of the few outlets for their product. Real rocket scientists those guys.

I agree Roberto!! I can find cheaper bars in Tempe than some in R.P. (Manny's) There are still a lot of cheap places to go though, you just have to get off the beaten path.

Some of you old Arizona hands probably knew RP before I did, but I have been going since 1978. What a big difference. I avoid it now on big weekends. In the mid 90's the place started to get popular with Cholos. Now on certain weekends there are so many friggin cholos flashin there colors and shit that you can't even enjoy yourself. But its still agreat place on slow weekends. Especially if you speak Spanish and hit some of th elocal places.

Where can you go for sex in the daytime?? The only luck I have had is setting up dates ahead of time with putas.

Just go to Crystal's during the day. They wont be open but you can just walk around back to where the girls have their rooms. There are a number of girls that live there and are more than willing to make a few extra bucks during the day. The rooms all lock from the outside so just look for a lock on the outside of the door, if there is no lock, just knock or call out. There have been some fairly decent girls there, considering it is usually only $40 for 20 minutes. Also, went to Mamacitas last weekend. Typical strip club for RP. If I remember correctly, it was $150 for FS. $22 for a private dance. RP was pretty slow and I was told it has been slow since the shrimpers pulled their little stunt.

Went to Crystals a few days ago. You can no longer walk around back. There has always been a fence and now they locked the gate. Not sure if it is permanent or it just happened to be locked that night.

It has been like this for quite a while. I think it is for the girls safety. Some of the girls are scared living there. The fence does pose a problem for early or late action. There must be a hole in the fence somewhere.

I went to Rocky Point Feb 1 through 3. Right now there are three strip clubs that I am aware of.
Gua Gua's: It is a shithole rip-off joint. My friends and I got there late and there was only a couple of attractive girls and a few nasty ones. They have four or five guys that roam around pestering you to get private dances. The private dances are 28 dollars. The guys pimping the dances are irritating pests. Avoid this place.
Dunas: There are all new people working at Dunas. There used to be really attractive dances here, and they were usually pretty friendly. This time there were only two attractive girls and several others that had no business being strippers. The privates there are 25 dollars. One of my friends used the back room for full service. He was charged 150 dollars. Some of the other girls were quoting 300 for full service. To take a girl out for an hour is 50 dollars for the house and then whatever the girl charges (150 was quoted to my friend). Another friend got what he described as a half-assed blow job in the privado for an extra 50 dollars.
Mamacitas: This is a new club. It is a shithole inside. They have metal folding chairs around the stage. There were, however, more attractive girls here than in the other two clubs. There are at least two girls that are doing full service in the privados. They seem to be working in conjunction with one particular ticket seller. I know that one's name is Samantha. The privados are 22 dollars and I was charged an extra 44 for full service by Samantha and an extra 60 by the other. Both girls gave great service. My friend only had to pay the 22 dollar privado price for full service for Samantha, so your mileage may vary. Samantha was pretty much the wildest girl in the club, so she should be easy to spot.
Crystal Palace: The only brothel in Rocky Point. To find it, turn left at the last stop light heading out of town. It will be on the right after about a mile. It's a ways back from the road so keep an eye out. I didn't indulge at Crystal Palace but I don't imagine the prices have changed much. We went in and there were about eight girls with three being average and the rest being unattractive.

Samantha didn't have any tattoos on her butt. She was probably mid 20's. Memories are a little vague, but I'm pretty sure her eyes were brown.

Lordbrs, nothing changes in RP. You have Gua Gua and Dunas which are next to each other. There is a strip club on the main drag right by the Corona plant. There is one brothel called Crystal Palace. The taxi drivers can get you girls. Don't mess with the streetwalkers as they are guys. We have reported on all of these places previously.

Does anyone know how much it costs to rent an ATV down there?

I have done it but I don't remember. It is not particularly cheap. You can do it right by Plaza Las Glorias among other places. It seems to be by the hour. I would guess about $30/hr. It must be cheaper per hour if you agree to multiple hours.

I rented an ATV there last weekend. It we $20 an hour although some were advertised at $15 -- they were further from the dunes though. If it is a big weekend, I would expect to pay $20-25 an hour. By the way, the places I checked out, you had to leave a credit card and your drivers license -- for each ATV. It was a blast though

Make sure the chain is tight on it. The fucking chain kept coming off when we were out by the reef. Fortunately I am good with vehicles. They will tell you you can't take them to the beach but do it anyway.

Unfortunately for me, my trip to Rocky Point was changed to a trip to Laughlin. The good news is, I'll have more money.
